    Zaki Chicken Bowl

We stopped in for lunch after hiking. They offer free samples and that's what got us interested. Their food is tasty and fresh. Their sauces are also delicious. Their staff is energetic! By the way, if you order something with shrimp, you're actually going to get prawn which was a great surprise for one of mine friends!

immediate Homie. Hamza is a G!!! Gives me chicken samples, mango juice, and starts telling me jokes. How could I not get food here? To clear the air right away. Perfection, the chicken is incredible. I would do fewer veggies next time and extra meat. Sever was a 10, and the food hall is fun and a solid place to bring a group.

Yet another restaurant that left me questioning the social media hype. While the food wasn't terrible, I've definitely had better Mediterranean options right here in Columbus. The presentation was great, the plate looked delicious but unfortunately, the flavor didn't match the visuals. I ordered the shrimp ($21) and added grilled chicken ($5). The shrimp lacked any distinct flavor and leaned way too salty for my taste. As for the chicken, it was just a diced breast. I personally prefer the more traditional kabob or skewer-style Mediterranean chicken. Now, the garlic sauce? That was the standout. Creamy, flavorful, and clearly homemade; it truly saved the meal. I could honestly drink it.

Honestly it's a bit on the pricey end but most places at budd's dairy are like that. The zaki loaded fries are good and really crispy, didn't get soggy at all. But the chicken shawarma is so-so. It's basically served exactly like a gyro except not wrapped, which was kind of disappointing. But the sauce and chicken is really good so I enjoyed the shawarma still.

FLAVOR! That's the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about this restaurant. I ordered the combo Zaki Chicken bowl with lamb chops and it was jampacked with flavor. I found myself slowing down with each mouthful, just to savor the incredible taste. From the first bite to the last, the flavors were perfectly balanced, leaving me wanting more. Excellent food and great service!Go check it out--you won't regret it!

I've had Zaki twice. Once from their food truck, and most recently from their location inside Budd Dairy Food Hall. Their menu has the basics -- bowls or sandwiches, as well as some appetizers. I tried "Gyro the Hero," their take on the traditional gyro. It comes with lamb & beef, lettuce, cucumber, onion, tomato, banana pepper and tzatziki sauce. The wrap wasn't what I think of as a traditional pita, instead it was much thinner, almost like a tortilla. The gyro was pretty good, but extremely greasy which made it quite messy. I also got a side of fries ($5), and they were pretty disappointing -- very bland and a small portion for the price. Overall, I think 3 stars fits the bill for Zaki.

Had the chicken shawarma at Zaki Grill and it was incredible--juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. Fresh wrap, great sauce, and quick, friendly service. I'll be back for sure.

The food was definitely worth it. The chicken and rice with that creamy sauce is pretty delicious I can't wait to go back and try something else

Solid Gyro in Budds Food Hall. I got the Gyro the Hero and Everything on it tasted fresh, well thought out, put together well. Could've used slightly a little more meat for $12 plus but it was good and solid.

Had the opportunity to try this food truck when it stopped near my workplace. I placed an order online and was able to pick it up fairly quickly. I ordered the Zaki fries and a Gyro. Both were delicious. the fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. the feta cheese and tzatziki atop made the flavors pop! The gyro was stuffed with meat that was tender and juicy. I like it so well I went back and got a salad to take home for dinner.

Wow these fries were to die for. They're dressed with garlic sauce, feta, and banana peppers and seasoned with some fresh spices. Only came here for a quick bite so I didn't order anything else, but I'm excited to try this again so I can order some entrees.

We went for lunch and the cool, welcoming interior on a hot summer day set the stage for a delicious meal. We started with the combination appetizer and their wonderful bread. Every item on the plate looked as good as it tasted. I particularly loved the cold eggplant and tomato dish. I had the blackened tilapia with rice and salad. Delicious! I would certainly order this again. My fellow diners had the shrimp and the lamb shank, a weekend special. I tasted both and loved both! I took half of my meal home because the appetizer was so substantial and my tilapia was a very generous serving. The wait staff were warm and friendly, but not intrusive, making Cafe Istanbul a very comfortable place. So glad we circled back to an old favorite! Menu last weekend,

I got the Baba Ganoush and the Chicken Kabab. I thought it was strange the Baba Ganoush did not come with pita bread or chips. It also was a tad on the watery side. The Chicken Kebab entree I enjoyed the kebab but not the rice. I wish I would have gotten more veggies than the rice. Baklava was okay more dry than I would have liked. Maybe I'm a hard critic but I thought this wasn't the best representation of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine.

Menu is unlike anything I've tried before and WOW is it good. Mr tried the falafel maakeesh and I tried the zaatar with vegetables and both were totally different but delicious. The falafel manakeesh did have pickles which I loved but Mr doesn't like so maybe ask for no pickles next time. The zaatar with veggies had zaatar spices baked I to the warm, freshly baked dough and had black olives, green pepper, greens, and tomatoes -- strong, gorgeous flavors. The dough is unmatched. They were both very good but I have a feeling they would have been much better in person. The halal salami tasted more like mortadella or a good bologna than salami, but I mean that in a good way. It was quite tasty. At first I thought the arugula that was on top should have been dressed w/ a little olive oil at least, but the more I ate of it, the more I didn't mind it. It wasn't your average store arugula & it did give a nice contrast to the fatty meat & creamy Labne. The Ishta w/ Honey arrived a bit melted & the honey had ran off a bit as well. I probably wouldn't order it to go again but it was good & not too sweet. I look forward to trying a few more items from there in person.
