Our family tried the Zaki food truck for the first time and we were very pleased. We had the shawarma sandwich, Gyro the Hero, the Zaki chicken bowl and the Falafel app. The elements of each entree were high quality and well prepared and the falafel were crispy on the exterior and moist inside as they should be. The tatziki sauce with the falafel was subtle but flavorful and the salad with the bowl was surprisingly good for what could have been an afterthought. Exactly what I hoped for today. Crispy, seasoned french fries and a delicious gyro. I've seen the food truck around town and have often thought that it looked very sharp, professional, and clean. This was my first time visiting Zaki and my passerby opinion of the truck was confirmed. Inside and out it seems to be a very clean, well kept place. Ahmed and his staff were very friendly. The lamb and beef gyro was great. They use a thin pita, and it was perfect as my preference is for a balance between meat, veggies, and bread. The gyro meat is quality and on par with any gyros I've had. They use the spit to cook/crisp the meat like you typically see. The vegetables and tzatziki were fresh. The gyro surprised me having banana peppers and chunks of cucumber, but they work great with the other flavors and textures. I will be back! read more

I was not sure what to expect when I ordered a falafel wrap from Zaki, but I was blown out of the park. It was absolutely delicious -- the falafel were fresh, lots of good veggies, and the sauce was delicious. I could have eaten the same thing for days. On a different occasion, I split a couple falafel wraps with a few friends and we also got fries and hummus to share. WOW! Those were also so tasty! In addition, the man working the truck saw that we looked hungry and gave us a lot of extra fries. The hummus was also delicious and came with tasty, warm pita and so much yummy flavor. Amazing food and was glad to discover you were going to be in Centerburg which is relatively close for me. Ordered online which went smooth. Had the hummus, baba, falafel, gyros and a side of fries. Absolutely delicious! My husband and I had the Zaki Chicken bowls for dinner last night, and they were fantastic. The chicken and rice was perfectly seasoned and served with lots of fresh veggies and delicious tzatziki sauce. The portions were big enough that we had leftovers for lunch today. The Zaki Grill truck was in our neighborhood, and I can't wait for them to come back so I can have this phenomenal bowl again. As far as food trucks go this is one of the best I've had! I had the Summer Salata with gyro meat. The portion was generous and the meat was extremely tender and tasteful. Everything was homemade-even the pickled veggies- and it tasted very fresh. I look forward to trying more things on the menu! I walk in to my afternoon clinic today wishing I had had something to eat beforehand. And there at the door I find a food truck called Zaki grill. Hmm Zaki. Name sounds very Muslim. Will it be halal? I only have 5 minutes so I quickly walk up and ask. To my luck it is halal! I'm in a rush. The owner is super nice and offers me their best seller but I dont want beef or lamb so I go with the chicken bowl instead. And it's delicious! Had this truck at just today. To start off they are very friendly and welcoming! I was excited to try some falafel but they were out so I ordered a gyro and a side of hummus. The hummus was terrific, creamy and flavorful. I would love to say how my gyro was but when I opened my wrapper after leaving the truck I found out that I was given a chicken something or other. After looking at the menu I think they gave me the chicken shawarma but I can't say for certain. This however tasted good. I really wanted that gyro though! I would recommend checking this truck out and will probably get them again to try the gyro. read more

Just tried the Zaki Gril food truck and it was great!! I got the salad and also the Zaki Chicken. Let me tell you the flavors were authentic and married together well. The rice was cooked to perfection people...perfection! The chicken was melt in your mouth and flavorful. The best surprise was the beets! It gave a 'zing' to the dish, that little something something which made the dish special. The salad is full of veggies and the Tsaziki dressing is cool and refreshing. Loved this! I didn't bring lunch today and decided I would go to the store and get some hummus. As I turned onto Shrock Rd, from the Busch Corporate center there was Zaki's food truck. I ordered just the hummus and it was sooooo good! I loved the pepper sauce on top, and their pitas were fresh, soft and warm. I will be watching for them the next time they are there. Encountered the food truck at the Margarita Festival and while the food was good, the wait time once our food was ordered was ridiculous. There was no system for how food was being handed out and while a ton of people were still waiting for orders, others were being handed their food just after ordering. Unfortunately we were not the only patrons who felt this way and several people around us complained. More people manning the truck and a better system for tracking orders would've been much appreciated. read more
