The last time I was there, I had forgotten this and whilst looking for them, another customer came in and yoinked what would have been my spot. The meat I've purchased here in the past has been good. Not great. Also, the prices are not particularly good either. The bacon that everyone refers to is good at best. Nothing special whatsoever. Again, Bloor West Village's shops are far superior at bacon makin'. Lastly, and hopefully useful to some... I'm a BBQ nut. I mean ribs, brisket, pulled pork shoulder, etc. and not just grilling. This butcher is not suitable for people looking to purchase meats for BBQ. This is a European butcher with pork loin, chops, and a bunch of cured meats such as bacon, hams and sausages, some chicken and a few beef options. I don't like to mention other shop names in my reviews but there are plenty of better butchers than this North of Evans Ave.
