The customer service is consistently top-notch. I picked up a Tudor FXD from them brand new, and the entire process was smooth and enjoyable. I also sold them a vintage Rolex, and they were very fair with their offer. I combined that with some of my own money to purchase the Tudor, and I couldn't be happier with how everything worked out. The store itself is clean and welcoming. On hot days they even offer cold water, which is a small touch but says a lot about how they treat their customers. Their selection of pre-owned watches is excellent--plenty of great pieces to look through. I haven't spent much time on the jewelry side, but the watch selection alone is worth the visit. Overall, Brockhaus is a solid place to buy or sell watches, and I've always left feeling well taken care of. Highly recommended.

I went to get a ring resized from 9.5 to 7.5. Before they charged me, I asked if I could have the…read moreextra pieces back as it is an heirloom. The lady behind the desk waved me off and said "that is included" when I came back to get the ring, they didn't try to match up the details at all, and refused to give me back the pieces stating "included means that the jewelry shop keeps the pieces" and they were "too small" anyway. To resize a ring from 9.5-7.5, there's almost 1/2 a centimeter taken off. There's plenty to give back. The manager just lied about it instead to keep the metal, which I did not get a credit for. If the sales lady was upfront about taking the extra metal and keeping it, I wouldn't be upset, but due to the fact that she waved me off and made me think my ask was reasonable, then gaslit me after, I lost a part of an important heirloom to my family.

When I picked them up, the underside of the rings had not been shined up. The jeweler said it was because nobody looks at the underside of a ring? I'm not talking the skin side of the ring- just when you flip your hand over- That side. This year, I gave them a diamond and a picture of a ring to copy as a custom job. I was estimated $1800 and 30 days. 5 months later they call, tell me their jeweler couldn't do it (too difficult) so he hired someone else to do it, and now it is finished and they want $3600. They never told me the price was increasing AT ALL. They showed me the original estimate, which clearly they've edited bc things have been marked out and written over and told me that the original estimate didn't include gold or diamonds (really?). They refuse to honor the estimate and when I told them I wanted my diamond back, I was told "that's not an option." I'll tell everyone to not trust this place. A+ liars!
