    Chicken Briyani

I got Uber eats from here on a weeknight and was not disappointed. As a Pakistani myself, it is very hard to find authentic Pakistani places. Disclaimer Pakistani cuisine is not the same as Indian food if you want vegetables go for an Indian restaurant if you want meat go to a Pakistani restaurant and you won't be disappointed, I decided to get their chicken biryani & chicken Karahi. The service was fast because my order arrived in around 30 minutes and the food was piping hot. The Karahi was piping hot with lots of masala. I don't like that they give basmati rice with most of their dishes when they really should be giving naan. No one back home eats this with rice. disappointed that if you want none you have to pay five dollars extra. The biryani was delicious also with a lot of masala and enough meat to rice ratio. Will definitely get takeout from here 10/10 recommend! Sidenote, do not get butter chicken/chicken tikka, masala/ saag paneer..you're at a Pakistani place! Get something authentic.

I really want to support a local business, but my GrubHub order has been cancelled multiple times in the past month. Thirty minutes after placing the order, I get a message that it's cancelled without an explanation. I really like their food but I'm disappointed.

I was visiting Boston and in search of a locally owned restaurant for dinner. This was within walking distance of my hotel. From the outside, it just appears to be a small restaurant that wasn't busy. Once inside, I was immediately greeted by the owner. He was very friendly. A young hostess then came and led me to a table. There is Pakistani decor around the restaurant that gave the restaurant a homey feel. The owner and I talked about his life back home, him immigrating here, and this business. He was generous with his time and talking about the various menu items with me. I ultimately decided on chicken vindaloo. This dish was delicious! It was mildly spicy. The chicken was tender. The sauce ratio was excellent for the amount of chicken and potatoes included. It came with a side of rice that was perfectly fluffy. The owner recommended I try the garlic naan and I'm so glad he did. It was fluffy with the right amount of toasty and the perfect amount of butter and garlic. The food portions were generous. I ate there and took half home. It was enough for one more meal for me. This restaurant participates in Door Dash. They had several orders picked up while I was there.

I'm soooo happy I found this place! This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but most authentic and family owned businesses are like that around Boston. That's how you know that the food is authentic! The garlic naan was crispy and fluffy with a thin layer of butter! Not too buttery and look at those air pockets! That's what good naan looks like. The chicken achari was flavorful and the chicken was tender and moist. The rice was fluffy and warm and the combination of the achari and rice is a spoonful of warmth. The food tastes homemade and it feels like comfort food. Although the restaurant looks a bit old and needs some renovation, the food speaks for itself! Yum yum yum

Great food! Very fluffy naan toasted to perfection, and the veggies samosas were so good that I ordered extra to go. The lamb korma was a bit on the drier side for the meat, most likely due to the cut and cooking style. The chicken vindaloo was great, the potatoes so tender alongside the chicken. When I come back, I hopefully will try their food with a bit more of a kick, it was a bit on the sweeter side in my opinion. The mango lassi was so good, it was very flavorful and not too much yogurt, like other Indian places would do it. I got chai (not pictured), and it came with no sweetener, which i thought was nice so you could adjust sweetest to your liking! The restaurant was pretty empty, and parking wasn't an issue after 6pm. I hope the restaurant gets more hype it deserves! I'd love to try the biriyani when I go back!

When you are craving Pakistani food you have to go where you have to go. We should have heeded the more cautionary reviews about Zam Zam but we always take some negative reviews with a grain of salt. The restaurant was non distinct and upon entering there were no enticing aromas. We did a GrubHub order for the beef Nihari and chicken karahi. You know how to go orders often look kind of sad. Well when we looked at the Nihari we were even sadder. 4 pieces of meat in a pint of oil for 19$ plus gratuity. We make Nihari at home and the size of this 19 dollar entree was more sized for a toddler. The chicken had sufficient meat but suffered from the same oil slick issue. Yes we know these are usually oily but not just 0il . It's a rich gravy not just oil. Anyway, we came, we ate and we won't return.

Cannot express how much this food is good- it's a different level of takeout/delivery. It is so delicious, authentic and much more! I wish I had better photos to share, it was so good we couldn't wait to devour it! I was skeptical to order from here, even though I was craving it, due to previous experiences with other authentic restaurants. But it didn't disappoint at all! Again, it's so so delicious and def ordering again.

I used my handy-dandy Yelp Boston app and landed on Nour cafe! I saw that they had #shawarma and that it was some of the best in the area, so here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is literally a gas station, but there's nothing wrong with that. You pull up to the Shell, get some gas or park at a pump that's out of order or one of the available parking spots off to the right, but this place isn't really designed for you to dine in. Lol. Yes, you can sit in and eat off to the left side, but they really want you to leave. Once inside you make a right and above the drink coolers are a series of TVs that show you the menu. Continue to your right and you'll see the kitchen where all of the magic happens. Simple setup here. Service: There isn't any. You walk up to the counter, order your food, pay for it where you'd normally pay for gas then wait for them to call your name. My food was ready in 10 minutes. Food: I went with the mixed grill plate because I just FELT IN MY SOUL that I'd get a WHOLE LOT of food. Boy was I right! Lol. So the mixed grill plate comes with chicken shawarma, steak shawarma, ground lamb kabob, rice, a big pita, pickled vegetables, a slaw, a grilled onion mixture and hummus. Wow. Everything was SO good, SO seasoned and SO filling. I literally could eat on this for 2 and maybe 3 meals! I broke the pita into 4 smaller pieces and then made mini shawarmas with different meats in them! Lol. It was a bit messy, but you can totally eat this with a fork and knife without a problem. The food was excellent. Value: $16.99 is what I paid and when I got to my hotel then opened the lid to see all of that food I was just so blown away. How did they make any money by giving me all of this?! Lol. Astounded. Everything on the menu is cheap and there were many things under $10.00. In conclusion, I'd definitely pull up and get this exact same meal again! I went with the mixed grill to experience the different meats this place had to offer. I loved eating from here.

The stir fry dry chicken was really good too even though it was oily but so tasty! The laghman was enjoyed by the hubs. We got the samosa, bean jelly, Laghman, chicken fried noodles, and chicken with red peppers. The best I think was the samosa (looks kind of like a bun). It had a flakey crust and interior with spiced beef. Probably my favorite! The bean jelly was ok. The jelly rectangles were a little firmer than I expected and bit spicy but not bad. The laghman noodles were a little overcooked. The restaurant staff were nice to accommodate us and make the Laghman substituted with chicken instead of the usual beef (for our friend with dietary restrictions). The chicken I think was unseasoned because of this because it normally isn't in the laghman. (I wonder if their original beef default would've been better) The spicy fried chicken bits in red peppers was pretty good (you can adjust the spice level).
