It was our last night in Portugal. Our tour bus delivers us to a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. The decor, table and chairs are beautiful. The drinks and appetizers are fantastic but the food is mediocre. It's too bad. I wanted to give it a higher rating but it the fish dinner was not sea bass but a basa fish. The beef was not a steak bit of beef stew quality. I should have ordered the mushroom risotto which I heard was delicious. The cheesecake was delicious. The staff were true professionals. Very accommodating.

Only came here for a beer and to check out the view, was staying around the corner for a couple days and decided to see why I saw so many people up here. Really nice restaurant overlooking Alfama neighborhood with a view all the way to the bridge. YOU DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE ANYTHING TO CHECK OUT THE VIEW. They have a seperate balcony that's off of the seating area so if you wanted to just come check out the view you can. They have a sit down restaurant but out on the patio they also have a window you can just walk up and order a drink or food. 5 euros for a big beer so not bad to go along with your people watching. Overall good place to get some photos and insider tip if you come at night, theres a really good hookah lounge directly across from the entrance of the restaurant you should definitely check out!

Without a doubt the worst restaurant we've been to in our 5 days in Lisbon. The best thing about this restaurant was the free iced water. No one wanted to eat their main course, the prawns were green. And still no compensation offered. No apology. Avoid.

Perfect place for drinks, the sun, and a view

Beautiful views! Perfect place to enjoy drinks and a bite. My friend and I stopped on our way up to the castle. Servers were very friendly. We took our time and enjoyed the warm sun and the views.

We had a variety of appetizers and 2 options for dinner, mushroom risotto and veal, and a cheesecake for dessert.

The entrance is roped out - when you try to get in, one of the staff members comes out to explain the 'rule'...basically two food items per person is required (requested), so you cannot come here just for beverages. There were lots of yummy tapas dishes described on the blackboard, but I definitely enjoyed my selection - well, thanks to the helpful staff to make my decision. The food across the board was excellent--every dish we tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and felt thoughtfully put together. You can tell there's real intention behind both the menu and execution. What really elevated the experience, though, was our waiter, Bernardo. He brought incredible energy to the table--full of personality, engaging, and genuinely fun to interact with. At the same time, his service was top-notch: attentive without being overbearing, helpful with recommendations, and clearly passionate about what he does. Great food is one thing, but when you pair it with service like that, it turns into a memorable experience. Highly recommend--and if you get Bernardo, you're in for a great time.
