In 42 years, this place get's on my top 5 worst dive bars I have ever been to. My wife and I brought out friend here to get a drink. Didn't bother to look at Yelp reviews , which we later regretted. The waitress came to our table and asked if we wanted anything. Our friend ask, "What is your favorite drink to make?" The waitress rudely and sarcastically responded, "Beer." And without haste turned and walked away without taking our orders. We walked out. This place is trash. Don't be rude to your customers. This id all too common in these ski -areas, where people live paycheck to paycheck in a fantasy world, hopping seasonal jobs, and don't really have pride in their work. read more

Food was okay, not great. Can't complain too much when it's the only place open. However, check your bill...you may see a line item for "cash discount" that is actually a charge added to the total. Server "didn't know about it and would talk to the manager", but didn't offer to refund it... wonder how much extra they take in during busy season. read more

Zane's is the spot for cheap and good eats in Snowmass village. They have a little bit of everything from burgers and sandwiches to Mexican food like enchiladas. My group came here twice for dinner on our week long stay in Snowmass. The food is that good. Apres ski specials until 5 pm everyday include $10 orders of tasty wings and beer pitcher specials. I got the chicken Philly my first visit and the bacon cheeseburger on my 2nd and both were awesome. I got the onion rings as my side both times because they were that good. Seriously, if anything, go try these damn onion rings! They're the bomb! read more

Our group enjoyed the Cheesesteak Eggrolls (6 halves to an order) with yummy dipping sauce, Taco Salad with carnitas (enough for two meals), Fish Taco dinner and Burger with Onion Rings upgrade, along with current IPA and a mixed drink - all wonderful! But, equally wonderful was our outstanding service with Shaun, who was welcoming, personable and in a league of his own for managing both the bar and tables solo. (Oh, and we wouldn't have found Zane's without his patience in walking us from the opposite end of the Snowmass Mall). I only wish we found Zane's/Shaun on our first night in town! (It is on the top level of Carriage Way - Take the metal stairs near the bus depot - there is no signage for Zanes.) read more

Rating this place for what it is...a damn good place to pop in for beers and burgers that's close to the mountain and about 1/3 of the price you'll pay in the places you go just to be seen in Aspen. Serious skiers come here for solid pub fare and speedy service and for that, it honestly can't be beat! Get your food and get back on the mountain or stop by for apres with the sports lovers. This place was an unexpected treat! The atmosphere is very homey, laid back, local pub type... unusual for Aspen. We came in expecting typical bar-style appetizers, but the food was actually great! We got a few beers on tap, onion rings, habanero hot wings, and mac 'n' cheese eggrolls. Everything was incredible! Onion rings were crunchy, well seasoned, juicy on the inside! The habanero wings were a perfect blend of spiciness and flavor, paired with creamy ranch and bleu cheese. And the mac 'n' cheese eggrolls honestly had no business being this tasty - thin crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside. The sauce had a perfect amount of kick to it. Beers were great as well - we ended up ordering more of the Amber. Our waitress was lovely! Will be coming back here for sure! read more

I mean Zane's is "no frills" that's for sure, but it's a great little spot and the bartender is really cool. He was so incredibly busy literally handling the entire front of house area! Anyways, he still found the time to chat with us so that was nice. It's also open pretty late and they serve food late so that was nice since we didn't get into town until like 10pm. They had this really delicious fruity/sour beer that I couldn't get enough of! So good! Also, not pictured but we had the friend cheese sticks. Not to sound gross but that's my favorite thing so I try them everywhere and they were like a 9 out of 10 haha Some dang good, crispy fish & chips too! Wow!! What a great dinner! My family and I had dinner at Zane's on our most recent trip to Snowmass. All 5 of us loved our meals. We got an order of onion rings for the table, some of the best we've all had. I had the mushroom Philly, it could have used a little more cheese but it was still delicious. My husband had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, so good! My parents had burgers, my mom said the cowboy burger was amazing! Even though this is a "dive bar", don't let that fool you! Having eaten here for YEARS, I've never had a bad meal. read more

Fun hangout, food was okay. I got the Philly Cheesesteak with tater tots and I thought it was good, not great. My boyfriend got the Carne Asada since he was craving Mexican food, but for the price it was awful. It was $16 for a pretty small plate of food. Not to mention the steak was sooo chewy it wouldn't disintegrate in my mouth and had to swallow the piece I cut off of his steak whole. Choking hazard. They have pool and fooseball and also an electronic PGA gold game. Pool was only 50 cents a game, so that was nice. Our total (with tip) for 2 beers, a cheesesteak, and the carne asada was about $50, so I found it to be a bit pricey for a dive-ish type bar. read more

ate in Aspen location .. really craving a juicy burger .. this is not the place .. 3oz burgers double stacked .. dry not flavorful .. and to our waitress just an fyi two 3oz burgers are not a 1/2 lbs as she discribed .. that should have been my question to exit .. i get this is a bar/ restaurant but many bar resturants have good food this one missed the mark .. and the F-bomb being yelled by a table next to us .. totally out of line for 7:30 pm .. didn't bother me as much as i felt bad for family sitting on the other side with young kids. Racist establishment. I came in for 6 months and everything was fine. I am white, once I brought my family here, who is black, they treated us like we weren't paying customers. 2018 review: Place serves tainted water it smells like chlorine bleach. The bartender with the beard sounds like the most depressed person I have ever met and his life is going nowhere so I understand.... lol anyway After my first round he made a snarky remark about not leaving a tip (even though I was going to leave a large tip after I was done ordering drinks) and treated a customer like shit. It seems like people visit this place because there are not many places to visit in Snowmass after 11pm. Every time I've been here I've had some type of problem but mainly with that POS bartender. Lucky for us, we didn't run into the rude bartender that everyone seems to rant about, but Zane's was a nice little change of pace place in a town that can be pretty pretentious. It's a dive bar through-and-through. So come in expecting *kind of* dirty tables and/or floors, ripped up carpet, a few bar games, and some good rock music. A spattering of locals judging you from being out of town and spending YOUR money in THEIR bar. You won't be disappointed if you temper your expectations. Decently cheap beer and greasy bar food. The wings smelled great but we didn't get a chance to try them. Too much good food at other places nearby. A good little short-term hideaway to catch a sports game or bar hop and plan for the next place you'd rather lounge at for the rest of the night. read more

It is what it is. A nice Dive bar in "No-ass" Colorado. Great if you fly into Snowmass on the last flight in & need to eat. Good bar food. Tons of lift operator guys and snowboarders. No chicks. Hilarious. You know what they say: you don't lose a girlfriend here, you just lose your turn. Winter, this is a great bar. I can't tell you how many times I have cruised in and asked them to tune into the Charger game. ( A bronco bar that is accommodating to a gambling charger fan?) awesome! Lotsa NFL on here. I'm giving this place a generous 3 stars because the first time I went in (a busy Friday night) the service was top tier especially since the place was packed. The next day I went back since there isn't a lot of choices for a late night dinner. And the service was the worst experience the young lady working was unapologetically rude. I'd give her a pass if it was busy but it was not at all. I called and placed an order for pick up I waited and when I was leaving my hotel I called and added onion rings to my order. I waiters 25 minutes for my order of onion rings (the last part of my to go order) and when I asked about it she said I did not call 25 minutes ago, I had already verified it with my call log it was 25 min. The way she spoke to me was disgusting. She had a horrible attitude from the beginning I didn't have an issue waiting since I knew it was last minute but I didn't think 25 minutes was a normal wait time since they were not busy. I asked to speak with a manager the other woman shrugged and said there isn't one. Another bad customer service experience in Colorado. Please pick somewhere else. The mozzarella sticks were burnt and barely had cheese in them. The wings are basic, chicken Philly a little dry, hoagie Philly was decent more veggies than anything else and the chicken tenders were burnt to a crisp and the bourbon chicken sandwich was very sweet and extremely oily. The baseball team boys I were with had to suck it up and eat it since we did not have any other options. read more
