I had a prescription for 12 sessions at PT. A work colleague had been to A R Rehab and recommended it to me. My pain was essentially gone after about nine sessions. It was a bit more painful at the onset, but I suppose that is to be expected. My therapy routine and the recommendation of what to do on the off days helped alleviate the pain after about six weeks of treatment.

It's blatantly obvious she is pushing maximum volume through the office, which I can only see as being beneficial for her, financially. She has the patients run through exercises on their own and then spent minimal time actually treating me. Her attention span is horrific, and I got so frustrated that I started recording the time she spent working on my injury, which averaged between four and a half to eight minutes. Often times, she would stop working on me to turn to talk to another patient about something frivolous such as grilling recipes or day camp. After spending over a thousand dollars in PT sessions, I was forced to go to another physical therapist group in the area. The average physical therapist works on his/her clients one on one for approximately 30-45 minutes a session, not less than ten minutes, which was I experienced here. If you're serious about healing your injury and getting back to an active lifestyle as soon possible, do your homework and go elsewhere.

Dr. Herstik, didn't do X-rays but truthfully, he didn't need to. He correctly diagnosed the problem with my foot. As for the orthotics, the process and pricing is pretty standard and I use mine everyday so no complaints there. As for the staff's demeanor, they are certainly busy but I never had any bad experiences with them. They seemed fine to me.

Last night my wife had an inexplicable and intense sense of weakness and nausea for the third time in the past month. She couldn't sleep and was sick all night, and was very weak this morning and still nauseous. I called Dr. Suozzi's office first thing in the morning to get an urgent appointment, and was told that Dr. Suozzi is off on Fridays. However, his staff, who is very caring and polite (unlike Dr. Ostrager, it turns out) was quite accommodating and suggested that my wife see Dr. Ostrager today in the same office. I scheduled the appointment. When Dr. Ostrager saw her, she was shockingly dismissive of her symptoms. She didn't even take her temperature, her blood pressure, any blood tests -- or any medical tests whatsoever. No stethoscope, no nothing! She didn't examine her, even when my wife said that she has had persistent neck pain for five months. Instead, Dr. Ostrager said "it's probably muscular" -- without even touching her neck or looking for anything abnormal. Unbelieveable. She told my wife, "I can't help you" -- and said she should see a gastroenterologist. Her only advice to my wife, other than that, was to try to have a bland diet. And she sent her home (again, without even taking her temperature). Some physician. I called Dr. Ostrager's office to complain, and they said she would call me when she's through with the next patient -- but she didn't. When I called back at 4 pm, I got a recording saying that the office was closed for the weekend. Don't make the mistake we made -- if you want an excellent doctor, see Dr. Suozzi at the same location. Dr. Ostrager is a rude, uncaring and highly unprofessional physician. A total waste of time.

I went to Dr. DiFazio, who was recommended by a friend, for a knee issue. My MRI was not conclusive…read moreof any injury, so Dr. DiFazio was having me in to conduct some further testing which required pre-authorization from my insurance company, so his office was to follow up with me. However, I never received a call from their office. In that time that had passed (1 week), my physical therapist had reached out to Dr. DiFazio directly for a follow up discussion on what he had found to be going on with my knee. Even after 3 attempts, Dr. DiFazio had not returned one of the phone messages left by my PT. I also had reached out during that time, Dr. DiFazio neglected to return my call as well. Quite honestly, I don't know if he's a decent doctor or not. Because he hadn't found any real issues with my knee, I felt like he was trying to pacify me with conducting more tests - of which never got scheduled because his office fell short. Additionally, if a patients PT reaches out to you in addition to the patient, you SHOULD return the calls! I'm truly disgusted by whats transpired with this practice. I'll never use a physician in OSSM, there are far too many good Orthopaedics in Fairfield County and NYC.

He wasn't getting messages and when I was supposed to be scheduled for surgery it seemed to be taking forever. After waiting for 5 weeks I called and spoke to him. After that there was a change in the office staff. A number of people were all of the sudden no longer there. The next day I got a call for scheduling and had my surgery. That was 4 years,ago. Since then I had more then one doctor comment on what a good job the doctor did. All I can say is it have very little pain in it now. This is from someone who walked for work for the last 30 years and returned to my job after the surgery. Bottom line, yes I would recommend Dr. Defazeo and I would use him again if the other knee needs it.

She is very kind, is always ready to help, and is amazing with needles. I've barely even felt the injections that I have received! My husband has been getting PRP treatments and acupuncture to regrow his hair, and it is working beautifully! My mother received a PRP injection in her hip and it healed her amazingly. I got a cortisone shot last year for my chronic shoulder pain and just got a PRP injection for it over the weekend. I cannot wait to see the results! If you are looking for the best, go to Dr. Gong!

It takes time to heal, but well worth the wait. She says she treats each patient as if they were part of her family and she proves that with her actions.
