I've worked retail and I totally understand the need to recover the store and whatnot but the vibe inside was terrible. Zara is quickly becoming my new favorite place to shop. They have amazing, fashion-forward clothes that are the epitome of fashion in Europe, the first floor is women, the second floor is men, and their inventory is outrageous. At the time, they didn't have any deals going on, but with the holidays rapidly approaching, that will change. I was helped to check out by Leslie, who was phenomenal. She was so kind and professional, and her nails were on point. She even went so far as to get me separate garment bags for each of the hung items I had. Outstanding customer service. So much so, that I went back today to purchase a $50 Gift Card for an auction that I'm attending in two weeks at a Gala. Highly highly recommend this place. Balling on a budget? The deals and styles are all me! The style reminds me of Armani Exchange and the prices under half that. The men's wear is on the 2nd level and women(of course) main entrance. Again, the amount of varying styles is great! That being said there are far too many "skinny" styled jeans and shirts for a man my size. (Their website is a great alternative for muscular). My biceps have been stuck in many sleeves. Finally there is a very large collection of colognes from heavy musk to light summer scents. All of them are on constant availability no matter the season. The men's dressing room are always available with an attendant. If the attendant is not there you simply pick an empty room by sliding back the curtain. No locked doors. read more

I love shopping here whether it be for myself or gifts for friends + family. The employees are always welcoming and you can feel the presence of the management team on the floor and throughout the store. One of my favorite things about shopping here is the friendliness and ease of finding clothes and being able to try them on. The racks are filled just enough with ample amount of different sizes to not seem overfilled like many other stores. I recommend this brand to anyone and everyone. read more

Yes! It is about time we have Zara. Love the kids section. Ot is very similar to H&M!! The girls clothes are so trendy! The perfumes smell so fresh. Also, candles are up there with whatever your faves are! I love the smell of rose and also lemons. Also love spicy smells in fall. I must admit, guilty pleasure..window shopping. I finally made a purchase after 2nd visit for my sister's bday. She loved the scarf and shirt. My hubby is very finicky about clothes. The jury is still out. My husband and I visited this store, which is located inside the Lakeside mall, on Sunday, July 4. Because of Covid, their dressing rooms are still not open to customers. My husband is Hungarian, speaks very little English, and there are some cultural differences between what would b considered acceptable in Hungary and what is acceptable here in the U.S. When we entered the store, I headed toward the ladies section and he headed toward the men's. When he asked if he could try on some shirts and was told the dressing room was closed, he didn't think it would be a problem to try the shirt on in the store. He was immediately approached by an enraged store associate who began berating him to put his shirt back on. He was shocked, and began attempting to explain that he just wanted to try the shirt on since the dressing rooms were closed. It's very clear once my husband starts speaking that there is a significant language barrier, but this didn't stop the store associate from continuing to verbally attack my husband. By now I was in the line to pay for my 4-5 items, noticed a commotion, and glanced over. To my shock, my husband was being screamed at and had been surrounded by 3-4 store security guards and had a very confused look on his face. I jumped out of line and headed over there, and the store associate immediately pointed at me as if to try and tell me to be quiet when I asked what the problem was. He then proceeded to tell me that he wasn't talking to me, but to my husband, (which was entirely inappropriate due to the language barrier, as I was trying to find out what happened and to see if I could offer an explanation on his behalf). He then said that if I "continued to interrupt I would also be asked to leave." I calmly handed him the approximately $300 worth of merchandise I was standing in line to purchase and assured him that he wouldn't have to worry about us returning at any point in the future. This jackass was clearly on a power trip. This is what happens when you promote someone from cashier at $10 per hour and call them a "manager." Nice job, Zara! read more

I like Zara and everything but I'll probably avoid this store in the future and shop elsewhere. It has some of the most unpleasant, unhelpful, disgusted looking people employed there. All of them avoid eye contact with you as not to dare be bothered with actually interacting with or assisting you. There was such as stark difference between the employees at Zara and the sweet, pleasant employees I'd just been helped by next door at Sephora. The only moderately pleasant/helpful person in the store was the girl at the fitting rooms with the French braids. But literally these were the rudest employees I've ever encountered in a retail setting--I'll be checking my Yelp history to confirm this. One employee, a sedated looking brunette, actually walked straight into me while I was browsing through clothes, and didn't even flinch, just kept looking straight ahead with the most deadpan/zombie-like expression I've ever seen. I was so confused and shocked, I didn't even react. I tried to find her before checking out, once I came to my senses. But alas, God was on her side and I never saw her again. If they shut this store down, I wouldn't feel bad for the employees and would happily go back to ordering online. Edit: Sometimes when I write one star reviews, I ask myself, "Am I being too harsh? Zara at the lakeside mall was my happy place! there really aren't many great shopping options in NOLA, and I was so happy to have Zara and shopped there all the time. i had the worst experience ever this morning with Gabriel, the store manager there. I went in to return something that they couldn't accept, which was totally fine, but the way he spoke to me was so rude, I left in tears. I am so disappointed that Zara would hire a manager who has such a horrible attitude! And word to the wise, check to make sure your items aren't defective before you purchase, because Gabriel straight up said he "doesn't care" if a customer doesn't have a good experience and that it's the customers responsibility to make sure products aren't defective. read more

I have been to this particular Zara numerous times since it first opened. I live about an hour and a half away, so I normally visit at least 2-3 times a year. Ever since COVID, the fitting rooms have been closed which in itself has been very inconvenient. I heard recently that the fitting rooms were back open, so I was very excited to shop! I don't buy anything in store without being able to try on. Well today - there was a sign that the fitting room was closed today and 5 EMPLOYEES standing in the fitting room area. At this point, I'm convinced it's just laziness from the employees that keeps the fitting rooms closed. Also a 30 day return policy is just not that great when you can't even try on in store. Well they won't get my money anytime soon! I'll just go to Madewell which has a GENEROUS return policy and open fitting rooms. I understand some of this is corporate Zara, but some of this is laziness from these particular employees. read more

Wonderful experience shopping here tonight. I have never been here before. The area is laid out well, with lots of space between racks. It makes for a spacious shopping experience and easy to find what you're looking for. The staff at this store were exceptionally helpful. Several people offered us help and guided us to items they thought may fit what we were looking for. The most helpful was a young woman in the dressing room. She spotted my daughter trying on multiple shirts and skirts. She came over and helped her out. She made some adjustments (like suggesting she tuck one shirt in) and was a huge help. Horribly handled for a situation that I had nothing to do with. I came to shop and the worker at the door as I entered rudely yelled out to me you can't come in here. For what reason IDK, I instantly express my concern of his tone and the way he spoke towards me and which he apologized and ask me to wait near the belt barrier. After waiting and forming a line with other potential paying customers for 10-15 he than announces to me and others no one else is coming in due to an argument that took place between customers. I'd you don't have to come in this Zara don't!! The employees always have an attitude and never want to help. I had a pickup order and had to roam around trying to find someone to help me for 30mins! And when I did finally get some help the employee had an attitude as if I was inconveniencing him! The fitting room is open sometimes which is annoying when you drive an hour to come shop and can't try anything on, but they have 4 employees in the fitting room area chatting and standing around. The aesthetic in Zara is so great. Clean displays with great styles and selections for jeans and pants. However, there are no baskets to hold clothes or anyone to set up a dressing room. So you might lug alot of clothes depending on what you want to try. There are lots of dressing rooms are not well kempt. Ok so I can't be more disgusted again between the unhelpful and unprofessional associates in this location....I spend wayyy too much money in Zara for this nonsense...went in on Saturday to do some real shopping...found a dress with a price tag of 29.90 not my size found my size but it was 69.90!!! Asked 4 different people got 4 different answers as to the differencein pricing. The dress is on sale....the tag is wrong ...blah blah ..one even said the size determined the price so I spoke to a "manager" who said I couldnt have the lower price but she didn't know why....I called corporate they said the SKU numbers I read off the price tags indicted the 29.90 tag was a whole other item but they couldn't accommodate me either I will never ever shop at any Zara's again ...they used to be my go to but I'm putting the word out on them...I also added pics of the dresses on Yelp....please go look at them!!!! read more

Walked in for my first visit to this store looking for a specific style of jeans. I saw an associate folding clothing near the entrance and decided to ask her if they carried what I was looking for. Instead of giving me any useful information this woman turns to me and says she is currently off the clock. Really lady? I didn't know you couldn't answer a simple question while off the clock, not to mention if you are indeed "off the clock" then why are you in the middle of folding clothing for display?!
