Lighthearted, fun, belly dancing classes at a reasonable price. It would have been nice if she gave individuals a little more attention and gave suggestions for improvement. Her students tend to be an older crowd of women. This is a good class for older women who just want to have fun, enjoy a very light workout, and socialize/make new friends.
I personally prefer a more rigorous class at a faster pace. I didn't feel like I got much of a workout and felt that my progress was very very slow. Also, the dance studio is quite small and gets crowded when she has more than 7 students in class.
Don't let me harsh critique discourage you from trying Zarifa's classes. I happen to be very critical when it comes to fitness-related people, places, and classes. I can see how this could be 5-star quality for the right people :) read more
