Went through the drive thru and my meal was 11.44. I gave the girl 15.44 and she gave me $3 back. When I asked for the $1 she owed me she said she owed me 95 cents. I explained that I gave her the correct change. She looked confused but gave me the dollar. After looking at my meal I realized she immediately rounded my bill up before she even knew what I was going to give her. Then she apparently couldn't do the math or figure out how to put it in the cash register. First of all, you do not have my permission to round my bill up. I've NEVER left a review anywhere before. Forgot all the sauces, even added two extra just so this wouldn't happen again but it did. I called up after I got home and the Assistant manager Brian said that he packed my order and he DID put the sauces in there.... WELL there definitely wasn't ANY sauces and I definitely wouldn't call to complain to try to get free sauces plus I put no toast on one of my Big Zax Snacks and it still had toast so if he did pack it he needs to check and then double check. If you are thinking of visiting this location for food, I would advise to go elsewhere. Tried this location while in town visiting. Kitchen staff seems to be incompetent of putting the food together and getting the order accurate. Portion sizes are half the value of what you pay! I emailed Zaxby's via their questionnaire and never received a response to my concern. Very apparent they could care less about customer service or when Customers share their feedback. That is why there are other choices to spend your money. I will not visit another Zaxby's location. read more

I like to support my local businesses but, our Zaxby's is disappointing tonight! The floor is not clean the booth we sat at had food in the seat, the ice/water dispenser is out of service and there is what looks like a beverage spilled in the drain. The beverage area is sticky and needs a GOOD scrubbing; it's VERY dirty! On top of that, the drink dispenser is not producing because of a "maintenance". It's 6:40 on a Saturday evening! Legitimately the most pathetic excuse for a Zaxby's I have ever been to. As someone who lives right down the road, I was excited to have access to this fine chain. The staff at the drive thru apparently are deaf and disregard the words coming out of the costumers mouth because nothing was right. The last 3 times we have gone we have had significantly wrong orders, the last two we didn't know until we got home. After calling to fix it in any way, they hunker down and offer a whopping 10% off the next time. The only saving grace here is that a Dairi-O is moving next door and will put them out of business. I want to love this Zaxbys because it's the closest to my house but the service makes it very tough. My order is repeatedly messed up every time I go. And when you have to walk back in again to get the correct sauces for all 3 meals, you'd kind of expect an apology. But no, every time they will just hand me the correct thing and say nothing. A tiny apology with me personally makes just about any mistake ok with me. All of the employees seem very young so I'm guessing they all haven't quite learned proper etiquette. ive had the worst experience here today i ordered a kickin chicken sandwich with nuclear sauce instead of tougue torch on the sandwich and it was given to me with no sauce on it at all besides ranch. This was my first visit to this location, and first time I'd eaten inside a Zaxbys, I was not impressed. My order was simple 2 salads, 1 drink. I repeated it 3x because the cashier was just not paying attention. We sat and waited for our food, didn't take too long..The girl that brought over the tray, dropped it next to me while my head was turned, without even speaking, and walked away. Especially this African American woman with short hair she gave great customer service UNLIKE Maddison or whatever her name is who proceeded to argue with me over a SALAD. I work in the industrial Park near this location. I order lunch many times a week for meetings and training classes from other restaurants. . thought this might me a good "go to" for the small meetings. And if they did well. Maybe catering. I have tried 3 times. I order early and tell them what time I need it ready. It is just 4 orders today(Zalads). She tells me she will give them the order in 10 minutes and it will be ready for my decimated time for pickup. Great!! ( I thought) since I gave them 45 minutes to make sure they were ready. Nope, Still didn't start on order until I walked in the door. What the Hay?!?And the gal ask the guy they is preparing food. How much longer? He cocks his head to one side and blows. OOkay... I walk around and get my to-go drink. Come back still waiting.. She asked him again. I already have them 45 min to prepare salads and still have to wait 15 mins. We have been going to this location since they opened. We used to get great service, but that has steadily gone downhill. Today's visit was the epitome of not how to treat your customers. We were ordering from the drive thru and the girl that was taking our order could not get it right and my husband, after repeating several times, told her that he was getting frustrated and asked if he could just start over so he could make sure she was getting it right. She then told him he was rude, though he never raised his voice or said anything untoward, and refused to take our order. I, then, went inside, ordered our food and asked to speak to the GM., who said that she had heard part of the drive thru fiasco and that she had already "talked to" the girl. Really?? I know restaurants are having difficulty getting employees, but do you really want employees who refuse business? I understand why this establishment only has two stars. I tried! I really tried to like this location! BUT.... the first time I ever visited a Zaxby's was the Archdale location and I was excited! We would have good fast food close, but I was wrong! I went through the drive thru and ordered about $40 dollars worth of different food and treats and I was especially excited about the chicken tenders. I drove home without checking my order, alright this was my fault, and I got home there were no chicken tenders! So I called the location to see what they could do for me without my having to go back and the response from Kendra was "Bring back your receipt if you want the tenders or a refund, otherwise I will do nothing." Kendra, where was the apology for getting my order wrong? No, ok. So I return to the location and go to the front counter and tell them I am missing my chicken tenders, may I please receive them. "where is your receipt? and are you sure you didn't get them?" I replied "Pretty sure I didn't get them or I wouldn't be back". The front counter lady sighed and said "Let me check to see if I can give you something". So I waited and she came back with the tenders, yay I can eat! She hands me back my receipt and walked away. I walk back to my car and notice there is a Customer Experience survey to take, OKAY! As you might guess I did not give them a good review and asked to have the manager call me (I was secretly hoping for an apology). Never received a call. So maybe the above story was a fluke as the location had only been open 4 months maybe they ironed out the service kinks! I had a coupon for Zaxby's, let's try again. This was a generic Zaxby's coupon it did not have restrictions besides the date (12/31/17), there were no location restrictions, NOTHING. I thought for sure they would honor it at this location it was a buy one meal get a second meal at same or lessor value. Walk up to the counter (I did learn my lesson about the drive thru) and asked if they took the coupon, the front counter lady took it and said "I need to check" walked away to the drive thru window and a moment later returned and said "NO, these were printed before we opened and we don't accept them."
