I am not going to lie, i placed a large order. I ordered off the daily special Stromboli & the corndogs plate. The Stromboli was by far hands down the best. The corndog was so over cooked it was like rubber. I was waiting for it to squeak like a plastic chew toy for a dog. The 2 cheese steak subs I ordered was HORRIBLE. I took one bite amd could not eat it. My boyfriend said he drowned his in vinegar & oil and it was still bad. We ordered a cheeseburger that was just disgusting as could be. That was yesterday afternoon. This morning I noticed my bank account had been charged twice from this place. When I got the food and was going to pay, she said it was $71 & some change. When I used my card it went up to $74.75. So I can promise I will not eat here again. I recommend no one goes here to eat. read more

The spaghetti sauce tasted soured and the bacon on the pizza fries was burned i complained to the server and was told we would have to pay for everything even though we didn't eat it. Came to try the burger, and was not disappointed. It is a hand formed patty, and comes off the grill with a nice crust. The meat has very good flavor. The only negative was that there was very, very little mayo on the burger, making it a little dry where the mayo was thin.Would definitely order the burger again, with more mayo. The Hot Dogs were good, not great. The chili lacks any real zip, and the mustard was as lite as the mayo was on the burger. If I order the hot dog again, I would request more mustard. Seems odd that both the mayo and the mustard were so litelly applied - hard to save much money with condiments. The FF were the ridges one, but were well cooked, and once salted, had some flavor. Folks here are friendly, the menu is diverse (from subs to lasagne, and cakes). The Place is alittle difficult to find because it sets back off Main Street with a blid entrance to the little strip center. read more

I wanted to like and support this place, I really did. I believe in supporting local. But this is the 2nd time we have ordered (everyone deserves a second chance right) and the second time the food was sub-par. Even my 8 year old who will normally eat anything you put in front of him would not eat the fries. The sub was soggy and relatively tasteless and the homemade hot chips were cold (last time they were cold, super greasy and almost raw). I would not mind paying $38 for 2 subs and a kids corn dog with fries (including tip) if the good was decent but this meal was... well horrible. read more

The food gave me food poisoning i went to eat last evening with a buddy I got really sick and immediately threw up within 2 minutes of leaving the establishment, I've been sick to my stomach since last evening and it gave me the worst heartburn I've ever had in my whole life. The tables themselves were dirty as if no one had cleaned them throughout the entire shift. Horrible. My mom & I got two burgers & two fries. The burgers had tomato, onion, lettuce. I was so excited because it was going to be my first burger in a long time. But I was VERY disappointed when I tasted it. It was absolutely disgusting. The bread was falling apart. The tomato didn't even taste like a tomato, so I took it off the burger. It was so bad. Dugout use to make really good food. But I've been hearing & reading so many complaints here lately. I'm not sure what they have going on there but it's disgusting. They should be ashamed of themselves for the way we were treated. We called to voice our complaint & the person on the phone just said, "I'm sorry about that." & said nothing else. WHAT!? Horrible. Very few options open on a Sunday night so I stopped in for takeout for the family. I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone in the family enjoyed their meals. The buffalo wings were nice a crispy with great sauce. The chx in the chicken salad was well seasoned and daughter enjoyed her steak quesadilla. This falls in the good food for the money category. We have tried this place a few times and had a bad experience every time either with poor food or poor service, don't waste your money.

I don't get any of the bad reviews. This place is amazing and the best part is they deliver! We probably get delivery once a week! I have never ordered anything that wasn't great and it always arrives hot. Not to mention whenever I call, whoever is taking my order is always so friendly. My favorites are the steak Stromboli special, baked ziti, super cheesesteak special and the fried ravioli. I could go on! read more

I have tried to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt. No more. I ordered over $50.00 worth of food to be delivered. I told the lady when I placed the order that I was paying with $100.00 bill. She stated it would be no problem. By luck, I had my son run to the store and break the hundred. When the delivery man came to deliver the food I noticed right away the food he was handing me didn't look right from the amount I ordered. I thought oh here we go again. But before I could check he asked for the money. I handed him twenties. I asked for $10.00 back. He opens up his wallet and asks if I have smaller denominations. I told him no. He opened his wallet again stating that he just had $2.00 and just ran out of the restaurant and didn't get money. He gave me the two and a one that I had included when paying him. He turned and said thanks!, got in his car and left. I brought the food in. I was missing sauces and part of the order. I call the restaurant and start telling the young lady that I didn't get my sauces and....that was as far as I got. She put me on hold, and I could hear her talking to someone. I kept talking into the phone to try to get her attention to finish what I was telling her. She came back on, asked for my phone number and a name. I gave it to her and she said "Ok. The manager will call you back when she's not busy. Guess it's not a surprise to anyone there was no call back. I added up what I was missing and in all total I am out a little over $18.00. This may not seem like much but when it's only a twice a month treat to the family, it means something. This was not the first time they have done this. I ordered delivery while at work. We ordered 2 plates of spaghetti one was baked and one was regular both with "meat" sauce" our total order was $27 plus tip. The order was suppose to take 45 minutes to deliver...no problem. It arrived about 15 minutes late( understandable) weather was poor. Unpacked the food, it was all cold, the spaghetti was the worst looking stuff I have ever seen, there may have been 3 tablespoons of sauce on 3 cups of noodles, the meat consisted of crumbled up pre-fried hamburger patties crumbled up on top there was no baked. The sauce was bland at best there was barely enough to taste. When I called the restaurant to complain I was given to "one" of the managers Karen I believe her name was, before I could even get out why I was calling she put me on hold after asking the delivery address. She came back and when I tried to explain to her what was wrong with my order she immediately cut me off and said they had never in 13 years had a complaint about their spaghetti...people come from miles around to get it ect.. that she personally checks all orders ans she didn't see anything wrong with it. I said well i'm just trying to make you aware of my experience that I had, she interrupts yet again to inform me the DO NOT GIVE CASH REFUNDS!!! I said I wasn't asking for a refund. I just felt they should be aware of the poor quality as this was our first time ordering. At this point I figured out it was pointless to try and continue this conversation, I thanked Karen for her time and hung up. I got a salad for my boyfriend and she hesitated before giving the Togo bag. I knew why immediately...the dressing had completely spilled inside the bag. I asked for a new bag and she was apparently very agitated. I've work in service industry so understand it's frustrating when you make a mistake what got me is how calm I was and told her everything was fine wishing her a good day and all I received back is a dirty look and no response. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !! We ordered $63 worth of food from here last night and as I was eating i noticed my burger a little pink and as i kept eating it got pinker. My spouse had season salt on half of her cheeseburger sub. So we called to let them know about our order and they took our name and number, and said they would replace it. However, we when went to get the food today there was another misunderstanding that led to the police being called. The owner was very disrespectful and confrontational once i returned for the third time due to my order being incorrect. This time cheese was added to my burger ( which I an allergic to ) and the owner told me that wasn't his problem and he wasn't remaking my order for the third time. He basically told me food cost to high for him to keep remaking my order over, and I should go eat at McDonalds. He also called my out my name as I was leaving. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! THEY WILL SCAM YOU! We ordered from Dugout tonight, almost $40 worth of food. We got it for delivery. We were told that it would be a 45 minute wait for delivery. Fine, no problem. Almost 2 hours later, and 2 phone calls to them, we finally got our food. Surprise, surprise, it was all cold. We called to talk to the owner about our food being cold and told him that we want our money back. We were told that we would get a discount for 50% off our next order, but they would not refund our money. Then we were told that we could get fresh food if we took them the cold food. We ordered delivery for a reason. My husband had just got off of a 12 hour shift. We asked if they would send a delivery driver out to pick the food up and bring our money, but they wouldn't do that. It is on a business to make the customer happy. All we wanted was the hot food that we ordered, in the amount of time they quoted. We will never order from them again, and if they fuck up your order, they wont do cash refunds. Only discounts. Why would I want a discount to a restaurant that I have no plans on going back to?? Really bad business that doesn't care about the quality of food they send out, or the customers they serve. read more

Great food, kind delivery driver, but terrible owners and management, they are rude and treat employees and customers badly, I received some one else's food and when I called back the yelled at me and told me to quit bothering them, they made their diver come back after hours and when he was here they still sent him with the wrong food when I called once again they asked to speak to the driver and I could hear them yelling at him calling stupid, it was not his fault. I always tip him well he is good at his job. Their food is the best around for Italian, they have great deserts and have possibly the best chicken parm sub around, the salads aren't very good but that's how most Italian restaurants salads are, other then that always good always fresh and cooked well. I keep giving this place a chance and I DON'T KNOW WHY.....Today makes the 3rd time I've order for my department in my company. Ordered over $60 worth of food only for people to complain about it and I see why. My co-worker ordered a "Chicken Filet" sandwich. What she received was HARD OVER FRIED CHICKEN TENDERS ON A KAISER BUN THAT WAS ROCK HARD. I called and asked that they send the correct sandwich (chicken filet not chicken tender sandwich) and was told they would not send anyone back but I can bring the sandwich back myself. Before that, my BOSS ordered chicken wings and when she bit into them, they were still PINK. and I once ordered a Chicken Parmesan sub and what did I get? fried chicken tenders drowned store bought marinara sauce with processed shredded cheese on it. This place is terrible and I would tell anyone who listens, better yet, I will buy the food for you, so you can see you are not getting anything but prepackaged process food just renamed on their menu. By far the worst customer service ever! Just spent $40 ordering a hamburger, a bacon pizza and wings. Our food arrives, we dig in and my wife takes one bite of a slice of bacon pizza and immediately spit it out. Said she thought the bacon was bad. Turns out that when we called the Dugout the young lady who answered passed the call over to the "so-called" manager who informed us that it was turkey bacon. We asked him if we could bring this pizza back in and exchange it for another hamburger pizza because we don't eat turkey bacon. This rude manager told us that he wasn't going to replace it because the menu stated that it was turkey bacon. First off, if a customer dosen't like something, hasn't eaten it and asked for it to be replaced you would think that a manager would jump at the opportunity to please a paying customer and have them continue to eat there, but not this guy. Instead, he doesn't the one thing you should never do and blame the customer. A paying customer. Second, we didn't have a menu until our food was delivered and you would think that whom ever answered the phone and took our order would have ensured we were aware of the fact that they only had turkey bacon. However, when we looked at the menu they gave us along with our delivery no where does it say anything about turkey bacon. Just "bacon." I would not recommend this place to anyone. I order from here all the time! They have such a variety of menu options and everything I have had has been excellent! I absolutely love their chili cheese fries. You can tell the chili is homemade and fresh. Their ranch dressing is also amazing and goes wonderfully with anything and everything! Can't say enough about this great restaurant!!! Definitely one of the Hidden gems in the Triad. I've been eating here now for about 3 months and every time it just gets better and better!!! The friendliest people and the best food around hands down. The quality and preparation of this food is second to none.... can't say enough great things about it!!!
