It is now 6:53 pm and I JUST now got my food. 3 cars that came after me received their food before me. One had an order larger than mine. Every time I have come to order inside, the drive thru, online or via mobile app there is always an issue. 1) They are extremely slow 2) Some (not all) of the staff need to either transitioned out of the company or given customer service training 3) Unprofessional to the point the staff began fighting with the customers 4) Specific orders made online completely made wrong as if they can not follow written instructions 5) the app says to order in line then wake up and pick up food, they do t even start the food until you get there which defeats the whole point of Ordering Ahead. 6) Every-time I use the drive thru, I am in line no less than 20-40 minutes...Ridiculous I could honestly go on and on about this specific location but I cannot possibly be the only one submitting such a Yelp about this location... The food was perfect. So why the two stars you ask? Customer Service. I walked up to the counter and the employee that was on break and the cashier decided to have a conversation. The cashier clearly saw me standing there as they continued to have a conversation. The employee eventually said, "I'm sorry. You can go". This would've been fine had the cashier not had an attitude while taking my order. It's not that hard. Be kind. Be professional. Take the order. I'll happily go about my day. This is a standard Zaxbys with a substandard value of your time. If you go to the drive through, expect to spend at minimum 15 minutes there and once you're in you're trapped and at mercy of their slow service. Concrete curbs prevent you from leaving. The kids who work here are young but they might as well hired the Walmart greeters to fix food. It would likely be faster. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This is usually a quick stop but today it just took entirely too long. I ordered my food at 2:00 and did not receive my order into 2:25. This is fast-food not slow-food do better. They were stingy with the salt on my fries and it took another 5 minutes to get my salt. Day: Varies Parking: Majority of the parking is behind the building and there are select spots in front. I usually use the drive thru. Wait time: Expect ten minutes give or take. Food & such: This particular location is hit or miss. Some days they forget my Caesar dressing and even my fork but other days everything is to perfection. The upside is that the chicken is always cooked. Here are the downsides: people are walking in the drive thru because the movie theater is next door and they consider the drive thru a shortcut, the drive thru line is usually wrapped around to the front parking area and if you call during peak time you might be on hold or disconnected after quite some time. read more

This Zaxby's has consistently shown that they do not care about customers. I go to the one in Norcross all the time (3 or 4 times a week). There, you get a 'welcome', 'please', and 'thank you'. Nothing tastes burned or overcooked. Fries taste great, aren't soggy, and have the right amount of seasoning on them. You can get in and out of the drive-thru easily (the one in East Point feels like they are trying to trap you from getting out when you realize the service is so slow). You can get sodas made with FILTERED water and with the signature Zaxby's little cubes (anyone who has been to a good Zaxby's and ordered drinks knows). Take all of the above conversation and reverse it. Nasty, unfiltered water being mixed in with the Coke with some weird sliced ice that makes it taste like water down Dr. Pepper. Fries that must've been sitting around for hours. Dry, overcooked wings and tenders. The service line is so slow, you wonder if they even thought they were going to have customers that day... That is East Point Zaxby's ... and even Fulton Industrial Zaxby's - but that is a review for another day. My last time going to this Zaxby's was 2 months ago. I realized how bad it was when I had such a good experience at the Norcross one, so I decided to review it. I will keep the streak going and tell my friends. read more

A lot of it has to do with the fact I live in the heart of the city and there is none close by. I went to Zaxby's after going to a movie at Movie ATL and it didn't disappoint. All the commercials, All the celebrities and all the samples still make this place mediocre. I had the grilled chicken cobb salad which was fairly decent. I think what ruined it for me was the health inspection score which was an 85. Not bad but not good either. Anything under a 95 is cringe worthy but it was too late, I noticed the score AFTER I got my food. It was late, it was take out and really not to much to complain about except that score. It does something to me mentally. If it wasn't for the fried mushrooms and pickles, I'm sure I would've been completely disappointed. Ridiculous drive thru wait time. It literally just took over 30 minutes to receive my food and the way their drive thru is setup (with concrete curbs surrounding) I couldn't even leave. I was trapped in line. Once I made it to the window there was no manager their to apologize and the team member was unremorseful. Once I paid, I literally had a enough time in between paying and receiving my food to pull up the zaxby website and enter the code at the bottom of my receipt and do the customer satisfaction survey. A decent Zaxby's, although not the best one I've ever been to. It seems like they are always busy and the food takes a little longer to come out. Quality-wise, it's average. Last time I was there the ice was out at the drink machine for our entire visit. The other thing I hate here is that the proximity to the movie theater means there's always a ton of unruly teenagers hanging around. That is not the restaurant's fault, but it is a factor if you're just trying to go in and eat some freakin' chicken. I get irritated quickly by the noise level, the "your mother let you leave the house in that??!" outfits, and the blatant use of water cups for soda consumption. In the future I think we'll just get it to go. I am, however, super glad to have a Zaxby's nearby again, and even better that the Zensation is back right now! read more
