We put in an online order to pick up inside the restaurant. We come to pick it up and they have locked the doors with costumers inside so obviously they were unlocked recently. For some reason on a Sunday at 5 pm they do not want anyone inside so we go to the drive through and are still sitting here for over an hour to try and get our mobile order that was supposed to be ready at 4:45. Then we try calling to see like maybe we can come in and grab it real quick since you know someone has had the door open and they do not answer the phone and put it directly on hold. Terrible customer service! Manager Anisha Knight was very rude! Threatened to call the police after she got my order wrong.

The line was literally to the road so I went inside and ordered my food to go and waited for 30 minutes while the employees were listening to music as loud as they could and visibly playing on their phones the entire time I waited for my order. I should also mention there were about 20 other people inside alone waiting for their food as well. This is the worst Zaxby's I have ever dealt with!! First we went through the drive thru and you could not hear the person in the other end or they were mumbling, so we parked and went in. To our surprise the place had one customer inside waiting on their food. I have been a customer of Zaxbys in McCalla since 2008 when i first moved to Mccalla. I will not be back. My order was incorrect. On the phone i was not told to bring the food back and when i got to the store, i had was then told to bring the food back. So my mom had to bring me the food and i inconvenienced her. Several people came in while i was still in the store with their orders wrong as well. I got charged for a drink that i did not even order. The assistant manager told me there was nothing she could do unless i brought the food back. So i just asked for a refunds. All i wanted to my wings to be wimpy and not plain. My time was wasted. When I looked at the menu to see what my drink options are, I see "Coca-Cola freestyle" and that's it; as if I have the machine options memorize. Worst Zaxby's ever, in my 15+ yrs of eating at Zaxbys. The place was filthy - bathroom, kitchen, parking lot, dumpster, dining floor, dining tables. Worst I've ever seen. Food was not prepared in proper Zaxby way: salad was swimming in buffalo sauce to the point that it could not be eaten, boneless wing plate had several random fried pickles mixed in; celery sticks looked more like celery wafers (paper-thin), ice machine at drink station did not have ice and no one attempted to fill or fix or offer solution. We, and everybody else in the restaurant, had to ask the counter help for ice. Another customer left mad because he ordered, paid, then waited for his food, and waited for his food, and waited some more for his food, only to be told that they "lost" his order.... I'm telling you, this place is bad. Next time I'm traveling thru Birmingham, I'm either fasting or finding a Chick-fil-A.
