The food was good, but not exceptional. I ordered a small pizza for $16, which is expensive for just four slices.

On Friday, we wanted pizza but we also wanted chicken wings to go with our pizza. I did a search on DoorDash and our normal pizza place wasn't accepting delivery orders. (I didn't know that happens on the delivery apps.) I found All Original and decided to order from here. This was our first time hearing about this restaurant. We ordered a large Meat Lover's pizza and the bone-in wings with BBQ lemon pepper sauce. It took a while to get here because it was Friday, but that is expected. The food smelled delicious as we were walking it to the kitchen. The pizza looked and tasted incredible. And unlike many all meat pizzas, this one was not as greasy. I was impressed by both the flavor and the lesser amount of grease. The reason I had to give 4 stars is because there wasn't enough sauce on the wings. I am used to wings being tossed in sauce, but when I opened the container, it looked like lemon pepper wings were topped with a few squirts of sauce. Yes, the wings were flavorful, but they could have used more sauce. Other than that, we enjoyed the pizza and wings from All Original. This place is in McCalla, so it would be a drive for us to get there. Happy that it was available for us on DoorDash, though. My thought is that it would be worth the drive if there are issues with our normal place. read more

Add more sauce to the pizzas. We had hopes that the pizza would be as good as Pizza Hut.We don't eat pizza much probably once a month.Most pizzas nowadays aren't as good as they use to be .I wish it would have been good. I've eaten here plenty of times with no problem, but the last 2 times were awful. The first time the pizza just tasted completely off and yesterday it tasted the same. First time here. It's not a sit down restaurant you have to get your food to go. We stopped in on a Friday after work and it was very very busy in this location. Everyone was coming in ordering pizzas. They were a little slow & may have forgotten our order but as soon as some guy figured we had been there for a while he got right on it. They did have some new help, her first day, so this may have been the cause. We got the lasagna meal that comes with salad and garlic bread. The salad is large, filled with veggies and very good, as is the lasagna. I really enjoyed this. My sister ordered the apple turnover, it is huge and oh so good. Recently ordered delivery from All Originals. I called early because I know sometimes delivery can be slow. They notified me of hour wait time for delivery which I predicted so I was ok with that. Food showed up and hour and half later. The muffuletta was cooked to perfection and filled with all the good stuff. Calzone was full of stuffing but hardly any mozzarella cheese in middle and way too many olives. Pizza was super thin! It all tasted great otherwise. I'll definitely give them another try but hoping for speedier delivery next time and better pizza crust. read more

This was our first try at An Original Pizza @ the center at River Chase on 31 across from CITY HALL.. We used the website to review the menu, but ordered on the phone, which was very helpful in getting our pie explained. We got the deluxe or whatever had veggies and meat on a New York crust. We were given a pick-up time and got there just when it was coming out of the oven. The inside is very clean and organized. Employee was extremely pleasant and professional. The pizzas were WAY smaller than I thought they would be. I ordered 1 large pepperoni, a medium Cheeseburger and a medium meat lovers...The large was medium sized, and my 2 mediums looked like a small and a personal pan. I also ordered wings and they were ok. I did not have the energy to call back because I ordered for my son's birthday. I probably wont go back due to the inside being crummy and not clean. I am a little disappointed because I wanted to support local and not a chain. It was also run by a bunch of high school kids (dirty aprons, not washing hands between tasks), and most mad the pizzas with not gloves. Y'all KNOW good and well that I STRUGGLE to write a bad review but I have to... I gave two stars for two reasons. The first few times we ordered AOP we had good experiences and the pizza is bomb! We drive 20+ minutes for it when there are at least five other pizza places within a seven/ten mile radius. It's that good but the last two times have been hugely disappointing. The time before last we ordered and was told it would be 40 minutes, which was the longest time we've ever been given.!l It was a Friday night so no biggie. We made good time on the interstate so we got there a few minutes earlier that the full 40 I was told. There were people waiting outside and the inside was packed too. Longer story short, I went in and was told I was early and it would still be another 20 minute. Okkkk... almost two HOURS later we got our pizza! I was frustrated for them and with them but we decided to give the benefit of the doubt and order again the other day, Monday. Surely that wouldn't be an issue. I was told 35 minutes. I asked her to make sure because of our last encounter. She check and said yes, 35 minutes. We didnt even leave home until five minutes before it would be ready. Remember we drive over 20 minutes. As we are exiting the interstate, I get a call that they don't have the wings my husband wanted... we're a MINUTE away and almost ten minutes past the original pickup time... so an hour after I ordered they were finishing up the pizza to replace the wings... I will NOT go back! Management, if you're reading this, clean house! Your people made excuse after excuse about why the times were so off. Contact me, I could give you a long list of other stories like mine that I watched as I waited both times. You're people are good people but they need to be properly trained, especially on how to handle situations like these. Threatening to just close because you can't "keep up" isn't the answer. Amazing pizza and quick. The pepperoni is a little spicy but it's great! We also love the bbq pizza too!

The first thing I noticed when I arrived to pick up my order was that none of the workers wore hairnets. This gave me pause, but we wanted pizza. Also one of the workers preparing a pizza grabbed a handful of cheese and proceeded to walk around the prep area sprinkling the cheese on the pizza. Thought that was odd. Anyway, got the pizza, went home ate some of the pizza. Later, we got peckish and I lifted a piece of pizza and noticed something dangling from it with a crumb attached. I was horrified to discover it was a black human hair about 4" long. I will not eat here ever again nor recommend it. read more

The pizza is delicious!!! But they do have some employees that don't wear gloves. One guy I saw him making pizzas with no gloves on and one guy going from the telephone to cash register to making pizzas. THIS HAS TO STOP!!!!!!!! The manager has been there forever and he tries to keep everything and everyone in order by constantly telling them to wash their hands and put on gloves. He always follow the food/.beverage rules. It pains me to write this review. My fiancé and I tried this place out finally. We had the bbq chicken pizza... and it tasted awesome. You may be thinking "okay, what is the problem?" The problem was is that I ordered a large pizza and their large pizza would be considered a medium anywhere else. We were still hungry after eating it. If that were my only concern, I would've given a 4 star review. But I took it down another star because I feel like I massively overpaid. It's been a few weeks now, but I think we paid $17-$18ish dollars for just that one pizza. I really want to support local restaurants, especially ones making good food with such friendly service. But I could get a much larger pizza just as good at Dominos for $8 and I probably will do that going forward. read more

The Mccalla location is tucked away in a shopping area surrounded by subway China King & a few other small shops! If your not paying attention you'll drive right by the place & also you would think this place is closed with the tinted windows! Today I picked up small muffaletta, steak calozone, & chicken alfredo pasta.... the food was good service was quick I believe I'll try one of there pizza's or sub sandwiches! As the closest pizza spot to my home, we find ourselves eating here pretty frequently. The main negative comment I have is that I can order the pizza and no matter how soon it arrives, it is always cold and I have to put it in the microwave. I realize that when I don't want to be a couch bum and I go pickup, it's hot and fresh. We always enjoy our orders on pickup. Plus it gives us the ability to ensure that we have everything that we ordered. Delivery has left a few things out on a couple occasions. Although there are times when I'm not completely satisfied with the order, the delivery person is always friendly and personable when they drop my order at the door. If I had to choose, I would pick the calzones over the pizza because they are FULL of meaty/cheesy goodness. I have also enjoyed their salads when I have tried them. read more
