    Salad

Waited 38 min on food got home to notice that everything together did not fill up the first square in the tray The House Zalad - Fried was awful the toast was the biggest thing in box! Do better people

The drink machine was very dirty.

The customer service was horrible the dude was trying to do 100 things at once when they was barely anyone in the restaurant and he was getting nothing done. Taking phone calls while we sat there waiting to order, not only that but the restaurant was disgusting. I am usually a big fan of Zaby's but this was ridiculous. The food was also undercooked and a caramel sauce that comes with the cheese bits was 25 cents

    Shogo D.

This restaurant is great and the food is delicious but I have to say that my experience was negatively affected the last time I was there through no fault of Zaxby's. I was waiting for my food and I heard what I thought was a loud dog whimper behind me. I turned around to see a 450lb balding man with a beard that didn't connect to his moustache and what I believe was his wife standing next to him. I realized that the dog whimper sound actually came from this man. Apparently his name is Richard and I was later told by the staff that he is known locally as Liquid Richard or Wingo. Richard kept talking about having to get an infected cyst in his boob lanced because he didn't have money to get it surgically removed and asking me if I would be willing to do something vile to assist him with a "sideways turd". As you can imagine I was appalled beyond belief and when I looked at his wife I saw that she was in tears and seemed to have been recently abused. I asked her if everything was ok and Richard cut in an replied "She just crying because the bariatric pressure changed." At this point the staff at Zaxby's had enough and thankfully asked Richard to leave. On his way out he yelled "LOOK HERE, LOOK LISTEN! CONSEQUENCES HAVE ACTIONS PIMP!" and got into a small Ford Focus that was such a tight fit for him that I could see his knee was rubbing on the gear shift center console. As he drove off he hit and killed a deer that jumped out in front of his car. I was in shock but I was able to take a picture of the deer he hit and I'll upload it here. Again, I don't blame the staff at Zaxby's for this negative experience and otherwise this is a fine establishment. But if your in the Conway area just be on the lookout for a 450lb bald man with a beard that doesn't connect to his moustache and make sure you stay far away from him.

This location is always rude and as I live in Myrtle beach and rarely come here, I haven't bothered with a review. But again, rude. Rude and charged me for a ridiculous amount of extra Zaxby's sauce and I get 2 extra sauces!!! Which is all I wanted 2 LOL. Come on. At least give me the million that you charged me for.

    Dry wings

I'm over spending my money at this Zaxby's! I always try to give them a chance once a month but yet the food is very disappointing. It shouldn't take me calling and complaining to get my food right. It should be done right the first time. My wings are always dry (which they are supposed to be sweet and spicy). My chips are always overcooked or undercooked. The fries always taste like they have been sitting and the portions are way less than what it used to be but them prices keep going up. I don't even receive my receipt to do a survey so that should tell you something. I would suggest going to the Zaxby's at the beach if you can wait.

Horrible customer service, food undercooked with a long wait time. No one was inside or out but still took 30 minutes.

The staff were super friendly with great meal recommendations. The young lady who took our drink order and our waitress recommended the Crafty Quesadilla - Shredded cheese with sauteed peppers and onions, served with lettuce and tomato garnish salsa and sour cream. You can have it just like that or customize with- Grilled Chicken, Shaved Steak, Grilled Shrimp, Bacon, Lobster, Ground Cab Beef, Plant Based Patty, Fresh Jalapenos, Sauteed Mushrooms, Black Olives, and Tomatoes. I added chicken. It was very tasty with a balanced amount of chicken and vegetables. My husband had the Conway Burger. Local favorite! Bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion, with pepper jack cheese. We had fried pickles for a starter and he added some of them to the burger. It was a nice big burger. Cannot wait to go back and try their Rivertown Mac. Conway is a beautiful town perfect for strolling on a lovely day. Picked up a jar of local honey from Mountain Man Honey & Goods. Lot of great local spreads without refined sugars.

Helen and I discovered it while scouting out local spots, and its location couldn't be better--just steps from the scenic Conway Riverwalk, surrounded by charming shops and historic buildings. Even the street parking (easy parallel with a two-hour window) felt like part of the laid-back, small-town experience. From the moment we walked in, the vibe hit just right: cozy, welcoming, and full of locals who clearly know a good thing when they see it. The staff made us feel right at home--friendly, attentive, and happy to help us navigate the menu. We kicked things off with the cold lobster dip, and let me tell you--this isn't your average appetizer. Imagine a creamy lobster roll transformed into a rich, indulgent dip, packed with chunks of lobster and served with warm pita points. It was the kind of dish you don't want to share... but have to. Helen went for the Reuben--perfectly stacked with shaved corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and house-made Thousand Island, all grilled on black rye. I opted for the seafood platter with fish and shrimp, cooked to perfection. The fries were hand-cut, the seafood was fresh and flavorful, and while the jalapeño dill slaw had a bit more kick than I expected, the rest of the plate absolutely delivered. As we soaked in the atmosphere, we spotted a plate of loaded Brussels sprouts heading to another table--crispy, golden, tossed in garlic parmesan sauce, and topped with bacon and shredded parmesan. Safe to say, that's already on our must-try list for next time. And so is their "Everything but the Hen" wrap--a hearty combo of shaved steak, grilled shrimp, bacon, fresh veggies, provolone, and horseradish mayo wrapped up in a soft tortilla. Yes, it sounds as good as it looks. The best part? After a couple of beers, a full seafood platter, a loaded Reuben, and that incredible lobster dip, our total was still under $50--even with tip and tax. Great food, great prices, and a relaxed, local vibe--The Crafty Rooster Bar and Grill has officially earned a spot on our regular rotation. We'll definitely be back for more.

This evening was a very good experience, mostly. Let's get the less than positive out of the way. We made reservations for 5PM. We were out and about and got there about a half an hour early. Walk in, spoke with the hostess and explained we knew we were early. (By the way, there were very few people in the restaurant at the time). The Hostess, an older female with longish greying hair, huffed then showed us to a table. She at least took us to an outside table as we requested. She never identified herself. And honestly we felt as if we were bothering her. Ok, enough of that. Now the positive. Our server was Taylor. This young man was awesome. He was upbeat and personable. Very pleasant and wanted to communicate, not just serve us. My wife and I asked for water, and ordered an appetizer of their Mac and Cheese balls. They were awesome. Hot, fresh, stuffed with pasta and warm flavorful cheese. Next we ordered cocktails. My wife ordered a Painkiller. Me an Old Fashion. Taylor recommended I try their version, New Fashion. Made with their mix of a house Bourbon. Man it was good. And the Painkiller? Let's just saw I held my wife hand, and guided her to our vehicle. For our main courses, my wife had the chicken and sausage pasta. I had the Bison Ribeye. Both we would order again without hesitation. The pasta dish was huge. With two breasts and numerous pieces of sausage. Over Fettuccini style pasta, with a lite and flavorful red sauce. It tasted fresh, and rich. She could only eat about a third of it. The rest came home. I ordered my Bison medium rare. The Chef hit it perfectly. Beautiful red meat in the center, nice and warm. So much flavor, and tender. With it I had the potato of the day. They were mashed with the skin. Full of butter, milk, and seasoned. In addition I had a side of creamed spinach. Very rich and deep. The cream tasted similar to a cheese sauce. So good. I brought nothing home. Finished the entire meal there. In addition, because it was our anniversary, the gave us a very nice card. And a piece of cake for dessert. Champaign was offered, but neither of us drink it, and didn't want to waste it. If you haven't tried Crooked Oak Tavern, you are missing a very nice experience.

The host very kindly escorted me there & what a great surprise! The Tap Room host, Joanne, saw me looking a bit lost & greeted me. I didn't want to take a whole table as I was just there for a cocktail. Joanne suggested one of the leather lounge chairs & got me settled. She made me feel very comfortable. I'm old school enough that as a woman I felt awkward being in an unfamiliar town in a bar full of strangers. Joanne reassured me & checked on me throughout the evening. I had a fabulous Old Fashion, enjoyed the multiple TV's & ended up conversing & laughing with a whole family who were also visiting. All around, a great experience that all started with Joanne taking me under her wing & making me feel comfortable. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Conway!
