Needing food after getting cold food at another establishment, Zaxby's delivered hot sustenance. This location was close to my hotel. I like the chicken fingers here and you can get two sides and select a sauce. They also serve Coke products. I was pleased to substitute and extra Texas Toast as I'm not a fan of coleslaw. I have been going to this restaurant before it moved to Laurel Park,I was there at least every week.I have been twice since the owner sold the business,yesterday my visit was not good.I ordered chicken Alfredo the young girl told me I couldn't have any pasta dish,asked why was told the cook was on break!!I asked how long it would be I got this big stare then this guy sitting at a table asked the girl what I wanted .This guy got up really mad and fixed the dish and went back to sit down.While I was sitting there waiting for my food a guy comes in ordered a pasta dish nothing was said to him ,the girl fixed it herself,did not have gloves on touching several things.Then the same girl stood back there where food was being cooked and was eating!!!My dish was not up to par ,was not very hot at all I left half of it.Its sad but I won't go back!! read more

I liked this Zaxbys joint off the interstate. I was concerned about getting off the interstates because of movies about serial killers, hookers, highway man and herds of zombies. It was nothing like that. The joint was pretty clean and semi friendly service, they didn't yell at me or told me to get out of thier business. They good was pretty good for a fast food restaurant. The bathroom wasn't too bad: maybe time to remodel. There was a guy in the crapper and he was making weird noises and I busted out of there; didn't want to get sea bassed or Budweisered. There's a lot to unpack here, and it's mostly not very good. I've noticed that you can tell a lot about a Zaxby's by whether or not they charge for extra sauce. If they charge for extra sauce (especially just one) then the franchisee is cheap, which is going to affect the quality of the food. Because they're cheap, they're not going to clean/change the grease in the fryers as often, meaning your food isn't going to taste the best. I visit a lot of Zaxby's locations, and that's usually a spot on observation. This is definitely one of those locations. Several times I've gone, and you could tell the oil was old and dirty, you can taste it in the chicken. Because of the cheapness of the owner/franchisee, I have spent twice as much up the street at Dairi-O to get better food, and better service. Now, for the service. It's hit or miss, but mostly miss. Several times I have gone inside and stood at the counter for a good 2-3 minutes before being greeted, and it's generally by one of the same people that saw me walk in. Getting the food is pretty quick, but you're going to wait a while before you can place your order, that's for sure. I've even been waited on by who I assume is the manager, and she wasn't a shining beacon of light like you would expect, she was just as non-caring as the rest of the staff. I travel for a living, and I've been staying in town for the past month (with at least another 2 months scheduled) and honestly they've lost a lot of my business. I would be eating there probably 5 nights a week, but because of everything I've mentioned, they're lucky to see me maybe once every week or two. read more

Things Zaxby's is by far superior in all the ones I've ever been to in my 28 years of living. The food was excellent and staff so nice and fast with everything. The building is clean. All I can say is job well done. read more

Went today. Manager yelled what the Fu** in front of entire restaurant. I spoke to an elderly couple whose eyes nearly popped out of their faces when it happened. . When I went to the counter to complain, she entered the store again with her cell in hand and interrupted my complaint to tell the employees she just got off with GM who was crying. You know this shit is bad she then said. She literally said it to the employee I was talking to. How unprofessional. Seriously? Wow. No words for how inappropriate. read more

We stopped here for lunch before going to the Sky Top Orchard to pick apples. We found the Zaxbys right off of the interstate, and it was easy to get in and out of. Our party of four ate here for around $25. The chicken mini-bites were three to an order with a a side of fries. This is their chicken strips in a specially sized bun, just right for the strip. They were pretty good. I ordered mine without sauce, but my son's order included the sauce. He actually wanted more sauce for his fries. Another son ordered the big Zac Snac and it was plenty for him to eat. My other son had the chicken finger plate and he ate everything on his plate. A quick enjoyable lunch! Standard chain store fare but reliable and reasonable. The Grandchildren love going to Zaxby's and know their favorites by heart. The counter service runs hot and cold: sometimes they're personable, other times it's business as usual with no great effort to engage the customer. They have one of those Coca-Cola beverage dispensers and this little old lady is slowly becoming acclimated to selecting and dispensing. The sweet tea canister was empty so I had to have someone behind the counter take care of that aspect of my "half and half" but they were gracious in helping me. We've never visited a Zaxby's where there were ample CLEAN tables. Each time we have to ask to have one wiped for is. If they were overrun with customers at the time, I could understand, but this has never been the case. A clean dining area SHOULD be a MUST in any establishment. I can't emphasize enough just how incredibly nice every staff member was. I mean they were nicer than chicfila staff, so you know this crew was outstanding! Our food was very fresh and delicious. And we were also impressed with how fast the line was moving, it was during lunch rush and the line was wrapped around the building, but you would never know it based on how quick they were moving. Food is good and quick. There's not enough seasoning on the fries. The coke machine for dine in was down and the sweet tea is nasty.

Food was okay. It was what can be expected at a fast food joint. Clean restrooms and friendly staff.

The food is always good, but the service was terrible. Placed an online order, was told it'd be ready in 10 min. Arrived 20 minutes later, no food. Asked employee after waiting 15 more minutes about my order who shouts out "online order", nothing happens & after 15 more minutes I asked again, no one knew anything and she left me standing there while taking other orders. If I could choose zero stars, I would. This restaurant seriously needs some customer service skills, starting with Miles or Milo, the Manager. Had to go back for a missing order, then got down the road and one of the sandwiches that was suppose to be a ckn Cajun plate was not. Instead of apologizing and offering to fix it or at least acknowledge it, he was condescending and pedantic I tried to give him the order number and he said he could not look that up, that I would need to come in ......what if I was traveling and didn't live here? He never once asked for my name, just kept debating everything I said. We eat at the Asheville's stores all the time and never have this sort of problem. He would not give me a number to call, said I would have to look that up online, can you believe that !!!!! We will definitely be choosing the other chicken, it is sad that one person can ruin your whole view and if he is leading then the whole crew it learning this. Good Luck with this store, Southerners will not stand for it and word of mouth means a lot, when there is a restaurant on every block.
