I've given Marcos more than a fair shake - the food has been alright, but every time I've ordered delivery, I've ended up overpaying and the delivery was at least 30 minutes late. I just called about an order and I was basically dismissed because "he's our only driver, and he doesn't have our app, so we can't tell where he is." That information was given to me when I asked about the time of my delivery and after I was called "sweetie." My delivery is currently 45 minutes late but my card has been charged for the food and a healthy tip. Don't waste your time or money here. For many years we have only ordered pizza from Pi Square, always good pizza although delivery has been hit and miss. Our last four pizza nights have been exclusively Marcos for pick up, not trusting deliveries from anyone. Every interaction has been great, all of the pick ups have been smooth, lots of very nice staff working in the front and back of house. This time was delivered and took about as long as it would be for me to drive down and pick up so yes very happy with the delivery aspect. Pizza is always great, wings as well. read more

The accompanying garden salad was perfectly fine and did what salad's do best - made my pizza just a hair more healthy going down. The only caveat - our pizza was delivered poorly. The guy contacted us and delivered it in a timely manner. However, when we opened the box, it was apparent the pizza had either flipped over or was transported on its side. The pizza was literally bunched into one corner of the box. But, it was still edible and tasted the same as an unblemished pie. Our order was delivered yesterday and the pepperoni pizza literally was so thrown together that 2 slices looked like plain dough, no sauce or anything. How many ways can you screw up a 10" cheese pizza? At Marcos Pizza, every way possible. I picked up said pizza and saw that it was overcooked, but I was so hungry and short on time I accepted it. The crust tasted like a cracker and the rest was so overcooked, the crust and even the cheese was very brown, a real disappointment. I shouldn't have accepted it--THEY shouldn't have served it in the first place. The next day I took the remains back and asked for a refund. A credit was offered, but I'd already seen what they produce so I wasn't interested. Since the refund request was from the day before, the upper level manager said no, it would mess up the till. That tells me how much they value repeat business and how little they care about customer service. I learned my lesson...if I want a really good pizza, I need to go a couple blocks down the street to get a delicious 10" pizza. read more

I asked the cashier why so much and she said that a small pizza was $14.99 with a $2.00 charge for cauliflower crust. The only pricing information on the menu page is that a large pizza is $8.99, $6.00 less than a small. I told her they need to list the prices on the website. At 5:52 pm I ordered 5 small pizzas via the Marcos App. My order was placed at the Hendersonville NC location on 7th Ave. I did use a coupon for 1 small 1 topping pizza (a coupon I received for being a loyal customer). The app order tracker said my food should arrive at 6:52 pm. Well at 7:15 pm the door bell rang, my son answered the door. A young man named Michael handed my son 2 small pizzas and a receipt for 5 pizzas. We yelled out wait that's not the whole order as Michael ran down the street back to his car. My son literally had to run to catch up to him yelling hey man wait up.. Finally as Michael was speeding off my son managed to jump out in the street waving. Michael still did not stop, he blew the horn at my son and yelled an obscenity at him as he was racing away. I promptly called the store (not knowing that Michael sped off yet). I asked to speak with a manager. Finally a very rude boy answered the line (likely anticipating yet another angry customer), I said your driver just handed us 2 pizzas with a receipt for 5 pizzas and ran off. He of course blamed Michael for leaving the pizzas at the store. The manager never apologizes to me. He just makes a bunch of excuses! I asked for my money back and was denied. I asked for 5 freshly made pizzas and was denied. I even asked if I drive up there and pick up the other 3 late pizzas will you give me a refund? Sorry but no sir. I suppose that was his millennial way of apologizing. Well at 7:44 our other 3 very cold pizzas arrive. The driver was very rude in exchange at the door (AGAIN) never once thanking us for our business or the 15 percent driver tip on top of the 5 dollar delivery fee. 60 bucks for 5 very late very cold pizzas! This place is run by kids for kids. If you want decent customer service go to Papa Johns or Dominos! ****UPDATE*** On the following Monday morning a young lady called me and apologized profusely for the mistake and the actions of her employees. Well, right now, don't bother to dine in. You get the pizza in the box, plastic utensils, no metal server to get it out of the box, and to cut the edges since they do not cut the crust completely through, leaving you to hack through it with a plastic knife. You also have to now ask for a plate, paper at that. Their drink machine is out of order, Pepsi seems to be a hold out on that one, and they have no sweet or regular tea. One thing you don't do in the South is have a place to eat with no sweet tea. Pizza is still good, but now a lousy place to eat in. Bring your own knife, plate and drinks next time you want to eat inside. read more
