Service and ambiance took place in a pleasant environment, but what I got is the real story here. I used a GF crust and DF cheese for pizza called the Boozy Bacon, consisting of feta, bacon, peaches, red onions, crushed red pepper seeds, and a bourbon BBQ drizzle. The sweetness from the BBQ sauce and the peaches provided enough of a balance to the red pepper seeds that I was getting sweet heat with a little kick. Pair that with a crispy crust, and you've got a perfect pie. read more

Every time I go to Hendersonville, NC I eat here at least 3 times in a weekend-don't judge me. not only is there pizza sauce, and pan crust pizza good; you have to get any of their custards for dessert. I was excited to see a Detroit pizza diner on the road to Asheville! We stopped for lunch one day on the way back from Jump Off Rock. It wasn't too busy, but sounds like we got there just in time since they ran out of single slices right after we ordered. I got a slice with pepperoni, red pepper, and green onion with a salad. The salad was incredible, I'd go back for that! It was a great fall salad with craisins, candied walnuts, blue cheese, and arugula with a nice vinaigrette on the side. The pizza was okay, the crust didn't have much flavor which was disappointing, but the toppings were tasty. I don't think I'd go back for the pizza but would for the salad! They have several tables inside to eat at, or if it's nice, the patio was a great place to sit and enjoy the weather. read more

Negative 5 stars.... This place is usually good. But apparently they must not pay their non- college graduates enough money. They must be refusing to work for the pay they get. I tried ordering a pizza and they would not let me pay online without a manager, which they didn't have. I would suggest ordering somewhere else. All you will get from this place is anxiety and be let down by the quality of service they provide? Probably more than that. read more

The staff was friendly. We had plenty of time to look over the menu before placing the order. I got the Nashville Hot boneless wings and they were delicious! My family ordered a Margherita pizza and a cheese calzone. Both were pretty good with soft, chewy bread and lots of flavor. Not impressed with Detroit style pizza. Line was long which I couldn't understand the hype. Maybe its something local that brings people in but sure isn't the price for what you get. Now don't get me wrong the wings were exceptional. I ordered the Kentucky Burbon. If you haven't tried them give it a try. We got "bone in" style and a lot of chicken meat was on the bone. These I would order again without a doubt. The pizza...hmm that wasn't a worthy component. I guess I'm used to the sauce being on the bottom of the pizza and this was a big glob of sauce on the top. We get their takeout pretty often. Very good overall. I don't care for the "sauce on top" style, but otherwise it's good pizza, quality ingredients. Nice variety of specialty pizzas, plus build your own. Also some great salads! read more

I placed an order on-line Sun evening got to the store, They didnt have my food. I had to pre pay for the order now I cant get to speak to anyone in charge that knows what they are doing and cant get a refund.Not only have they lost my business but I plan on letting everyone I know what happened and they should pick another pizza place that wont ignore you or screw you out of your money read more

Ate Pi Squared for dinner while visiting town to assist in hurricane relief, and we will be returning before heading out! Amazing food, atmosphere, and service! We came in 20 mins to close, they were very busy, but still took our order very quickly. Once they took our order, we only waited about 15 mins for food. While waiting, we saw excellent service to other folks who were picking their orders up as well. Once we got our food, we asked a question about allergens, and the person we asked was not only very honest about possibility of allergen exposure, he told us how we could order the food to minimize chances of cross contamination. Absolutely will be returning and spreading the word of our amazing experience to anyone who will listen! read more

Eight of us went there for a birthday party. I called about a reservation but they said it wasn't necessary. We went to the counter and ordered immediately. Two large pizzas and three drinks $53. We tried to pull a couple tables together but they didn't move. No big deal. The food came out quickly. I had the Greektown pizza. Delicious! After inquiring the third time, found out no one even made the pizza. I was told it would be another 10 minutes. I demanded my money back and after some resistance I finally got it. Walked in with an empty stomach and left with a smile on my face. :) First walked in and was welcomed by the friendly staff and wonderful smells. They weren't very busy (just got done with rush), so they let us sat down and looked at the menu. Went back up and they took our order immediately. They sadly were out of their large "squared" pizzas, which is honestly not a big deal. It was after rush, so can't really blame them for being so popular! They offered us 2 small squared pizzas instead. Soon as we got our order, they told us they were out of small squared pizzas as well... Bummer. Waited for our food (to go) and left. Got home and opened the boxes and saw 2 small squared pizzas. They either ran out after us or spent a little extra time making some for us, either way THANK YOU! We also got 6 boneless wings, which was torture in the car... The smell was so good. We got plain old BBQ. Food review: The wings, oh man... So good. I've never been a big fan of wings, so I've only had cheap wings from Papa Johns, etc but these wings were so good! Its about $1 a wing and their not small or dinky, the boneless we're just right! Not too much sauce either. Pizza was amazing. Took the first bite and I'm hooked. So cheesy and with the perfect crunch. I'm not a fan of "crunchy" things but the pizza was perfect. The cheese is great as well. Just the right amount of sauce ontop of the pizza. Same with the pepperoni, not to much or too little... What can I say, I found a new love when it comes to pizza. People do need to keep in mind this place is new, so mistakes will happen from time to time, but I personally had no issues with my first visit! Will definitely be stopping by again to try more wings and some other items on their awesome menu. read more

Great pizza, but eating at the restaurant is a definite challenge. We will never eat there again. The tables are small and it's virtually like eating at a subway or other fast food "restaurant" except they offer way better service typically. They give you awful plastic forks and knives with awful paper plates with styrofoam cups. If you're going with more than 2 people you might want to eat else where because it's not comfortable or enjoyable. We had a blonde female employee giving us a hard time from the moment we placed our order to the moment we asked for a box to take home our leftovers. She was rude, aggressive, confrontational & sarcastic. read more

I have wanted to eat here for a long time. Finally I had their pizza delivered. Disgusting. The pizza which was the normal crust. The pizza was dry as a bone. I asked and was charged for an arugula topping. It was not on the pizza. It was the fig and Gorgonzola pizza. I tasted no Gorgonzola. But in fairness, I only ate half a piece. I could barely swallow it without two bottled waters. You may think that is an odd pizza and that was the problem. However, Mezzaluna on Main Street has one that is similar. It is delicious. I will regretfully not be ordering from Pi Squared again. It was just a dried out tasteless pizza. read more

On our first visit, we thought it was great. Not so much on the second visit. We ordered salad and pizza and asked if we could get the salad first. "Sure. No problem." Well, not only did the salad not arrive first, it didn't arrive at all. And the pizza was barely warm. They refunded my money for the salad, took my phone number and told me the owner would contact me to refund my $$ for the pizza, which never happened, even though I told them I wasn't looking for a refund -- all I wanted was a hot pizza. They never offered to reheat the pizza, so we took it home in a box and reheated it. read more

One of my favorites from their menu is their spinach salad. I have tried MOST of their menu and all of it is delicious. My friends daughter can not eat gluten and Pi Squared has a delicious gluten free pizza! They continue to do a great job during the COVID pandemic with offering delivery, pickup, outside seating and wearing masks even in the hot kitchen! read more

The service was amazing, some of the best I've ever had. Our Cashier and Server was super nice and very pleasant to be around and the food was absolutely over the top, I will definitely be coming back for seconds sometime.
