Picked up some chicken tenders while hanging out at Brewers Kettle, next door. Wasn't sure what I wanted, didn't see a small count of tenders on their menu, but the cashier was friendly and helped me pick a good choice. Food came out quickly, and I was on my way back to Brewers Kettle. The tenders were graciously covered in sauce, and I was provided with more than enough ranch to dip them. I dont know to blame Zaxyby or Door dash BUT tonight my food arrived COLD as the drinks I got. I contacted door dash when I seen that the time had changed. Thry informed me that the food was NOT ready ans that the store was running 20 minutes behind. Needless to say I got thr food ans it was a waste of my money. Anyone that knows know that after frys are cold ans you try to reward thqy are even nastier. This was HORRIBLE and a waste of 40 plus bucks. The chicken fingers were not cooked long enough and whoever did the Texas Toast salted the butter and it was so salty we threw it away. There was no one at the front counter when we were leaving. I try not to eat a lot of fast food, and I hardly ever get salads from fast food places, but Zaxby's is one place I feel comfortable ordering a salad. I always stick with the Grilled House Zalad and I take off the cheddar cheese and Texas toast. It may take some of the fun out of it, but I just feel better about eating a salad when it isn't covered with cheese and certainly when it isn't paired with buttery toast. However, the toast is FANTASTIC... The prices are a little higher than I'd like for fast food, but I can't complain really with the quantity and quality. I do love their chicken tenders with Zaxby's signature sauce when I'm feeling the need to splurge (on calories). This location has always been clean and is, for the most part, quick. Poor service for dine in today (Sunday 8/8/21 @noon). Guy behind the counter was short, rude, mumbled, kept turning his head like he could hear us and never said thanks or gave any pleasantries. My order included wings which I asked for ranch as a dipping sauce. He shorted me and when I went back up to the counter and asked for them this guy said he typically charges for that. First time eating in which I normally order out. I tried the feastables box and my husband ordered the regular plate we normally get chicken fingers( take out) ( large, 11.99) to my surprise his plate was more fulfilling than the feastables box which was a little more. The feastables box was skimpy for eating in the chicken fingers were small and a handful of fries and cheese bites wasn't appeasing at all! Also the housecleaning needed some work too. It looked like the cashier would wipe the tables off and knock the residue right onto the benches ( full of crumbs) leaving them unattended, also they don't greet you with a smile everyone in the store looked like they weren't happy to see you. So, I know this is a fast food place but, wanted to give it a review as it is one of the newer Zaxby's in the area. I've visited this location about a dozen times in the last year and a half and it seems as of late that the quality and cleanliness of the establishment is trending downward. During my last visit, the tables were dirty, there was no un-sweet tea and there was no diet ginger ale or regular ginger ale in the drink machine. The staff seemed disorganized and like they had gotten behind on prep work. My meal was good. However, it was not the best I have had there. Still, the chicken was good and flavorful and the fries were hot and fresh. All in all, adding up all the times I have visited this establishment, it works out to about three stars. read more

Sometimes decent. Usually order a salad and I always have to double check my order before leaving. They also put wayyyy too much green lettuce in the salad to where you can barely even shake up the container once you add your salad dressing on it. I also don't understand why the police has been there so much the last few days. You also never know when they may be closed. Ive eaten from this place more times than i should because i normally love zaxby,s and this place is close The coleslaw tastes off 60% of the time, so i just gave up with it and started getting fries instead. Nothing compares to the horrible quality of their chicken tenders though. 80% of the time the chicken tenders smell and taste foul. Im not sure what they do to their chicken tenders, but this is the only zaxby's that has this issue from my experience. I order their chicken tenders maybe once a month or so just to see if they finally hired better staff, but 1 and 1/2 years later the quality is still horrible. I have eaten enough chicken in my life to smell when it is no longer good to eat, and that is the smell their tenders give off. Not only does it taste and smell bad, but i am not willing to believe this food is safe to eat. I love Zaxby's, but this location in general is just not clean or organized. All the tables are grimy and sticky and the last time I went the drink station had obviously not been touched in a very long time. Straws were scattered everywhere and they didn't have any lids out that fit my regular drink. There was drink spilled on the counters. All together it was just a mess. Visited last night, and apparently they only have kids working at night because this is the 4th time going in the evening and young kids are not conducting good customer service at the window (cursing, dancing, singing inappropriate songs, etc). The Asian young girl last night was very nonchalant, failed to tell me that the sauce I ordered on my wings wasn't available but instead gave me my WRONG order and let me drive away. Thank God I checked. In the beginning when I was placing my order, I asked her a question about my coupon on my app, and she said she had no idea, "she don't use the app" and had no care apparently about trying to find out and help me but continue to stare at me like I was dumb. Then when I returned because my order was incorrect, she was very rude. Thankfully, Vanecia, another associate, got me right. I went to the drive-thru and asked for a Chicken Finger Plate and immediately added, "5 piece." The female taking the order told me they come 4, 5 or 6 pieces. I answered, "5." She repeated, 4, 5 or 6 pieces. Yet again I said, "5 pieces." Then she said something I couldn't understand so I asked her to repeat herself. I didn't understand her the second time either so I said more loudly and very clearly, "OK, I want a 5-piece Chicken Finger Plate." She replied, "Theeerrrrreeee you go," as if she was mocking me. She then asked what kind of sauce. I said the zax sauce (isn't that what it's supposed to come with automatically anyway?) She then said more things I couldn't understand that sounded like, "We can't (something something something)" and ended with what I think was a list of sauces because I heard "teriyaki." Now I just want to get the order over with so I said, "No sauce...and a large Coke." Then she says something like, "So you don't want the plate?" I was really confused now and said, "What?" She loudly, impatiently said, "What I'm asking you is..." and because of her tone of voice on top of everything else, I lost my patience. I said, "OK, nevermind, thanks," and drove away. That was at 6:45 pm in case Zaxby's management actually sees this and wants to address the employee who was working the drive-thru at that time. I'm not sure what the problem was...the speaker, her headset, she was trying to talk too fast or not enunciating (except when she got snarky with me,) maybe she wasn't paying attention, maybe too much noise in the restaurant or whatever. I know it wasn't a problem with volume on my end. I don't have a hearing problem and I speak clearly... something I learned in many years of customer service! Whatever the issue, it was definitely on her/the restaurant's end. I left there still hungry, highly irritated and feeling like she had been playing some messed up game with me. Got charged for the extra ranch that I asked for but there was only 1 ranch in the bag. Had a side of fries & it was literally only half way full. & when I was at the window after getting my food, they had the window opened & was talking about how they messed up someone else's order (makes me real confident in mine) & were trying to figure it out instead of giving me my drink so I could leave. Ordered online at this location . I called ahead to confirm my online order and spoke to shay who said yes your order will be ready for you . Arrived in time to a perfectly arranged large platter with napkins and servers and had 3 waitstaff as well as the manager Anisha ask if there was anything else we needed . This location has improved their promptness and customer service 100% and showed us THE BEST southern hospitality ever! Kudos ! My family and I went to Zaxby's and we are usually very satisfied with the food and the service at this restaurant. Today, though, was a different story. The counter staff acted as if they cared less whether we were there or not. We ordered our usual chicken finger plates and slaw usually comes with the plate. The slaw on this trip smelled and tasted like sour milk. My husband took only one bite of the slaw and nearly gagged from the taste. He took the slaw back to the counter and all the counter staff said was that they were sorry about that. No offer of a replacement or anything else. We will continue to dine at Zaxby's but we will be more diligent about which location we stop at next time. read more

Let me start by saying my son and I are huge Zaxby's fans. We've eaten at just about every establishment in the Triad area. However, this location has to be the worst on our list. The dining area in this restaurant is completely weird. Most Zaxby's have nice booths along the windows and/or aisles, and small four-seater tables in the middle of the room. This one only has one aisle of booths and huge tables that take up the rest of the room. These tables are not convenient, are not very inviting, and they don't make sense. We visited during lunch rush hour and parties of 2-4 people couldn't find an available booth, so they had to sit at the huge tables. This in turn took seating from larger parties who had to stand around and wait on others to leave. Additionally, the drink station is not at the front of the restaurant as most other establishments are, but is located near the huge tables on the side. While we were sitting at the tables, people were pushing past and around us to get to the drink station, and even stood in line directly beside our table. It was rude, loud, and very annoying. When we scored our table (because it was akin to a race) we did have to clean it and the chairs ourselves, and the floor underneath was pretty nasty. We didn't enjoy our food due to the chaotic environment this establishment creates. It's awful. I hope someone will remodel it to a better version like our favorites: High Point Palladium Zaxby's, and Lexington Zaxby's. These restaurants have a much more zen feel and customers can actually sit down and enjoy their meal in a nice, calming environment. One more thing... the wait staff was okay on our inside visit, but the drive-thru visit was horrible. When we finally reached the window, the ladies working inside were having a tremendous time together but didn't pay any attention to me as the customer.
