I wanted a salad and decided it was worth the wait for the drive thru line that was 7 cars deep this time. The line moved quickly. My salad was fresh and my one piece of toast that was cut in half was warm when I got home. The two small bags of Ranch salad dressing was insufficient for the size of salad received. Unfortunately I didn't have any other dressing at home so I tried making something with items in my kitchen. That was a fail! Next time I will either stop at Aldi to buy a bottle of salad dressing or pay for extra at the restaurant. Had I parked and went inside, I would have discovered this issue at the restaurant. Lesson learned. The outside of this location was free of trash and clean. There were several people at the window getting orders together. Unfortunately I lost sight of my credit card and it looked like it was laid down on the counter next to the monitor. I saw when one of them picked my card up and gave me it and my receipt. I turned my card off immediately as a precaution. They need to improve their protocol for customer satisfaction. It's going to be a week before my bank can send me a new card. Wish I could leave zero stars...or negative..but . Went in on Friday 3 cars in drive thru. So figured it wouldn't be slammed. Empty inside. Ordered wife and my food, then sat down. Was hoping to leave ZERO stars. This happens to be the worst Zaxby's in the country. You will always wait at minimum 30 minutes for your food in the drive through. After your 30 minute wait, your food will be INCORRECT! All you hear is joking in the back. The workers are always joking and playing around on their phone. There is way too much horse play at this facility. The customer service is terrible and dry. The owner shouldn't be proud. read more

I ordered the Grilled Cobb salad which has grilled chicken on a bed of lettuce with tomato, cheese and pieces of boiled egg and choice of dressing (I got the ranch dressing. She also couldn't give this man his correct change after going back and forth multiple times with him. He had to tell her how much to give him back. My food was unseasoned. I waited for over 40 minutes for one sandwich. They kept forgetting to make it. Also, can't forget the girl (pictured on the right) who was almost on her phone the entire time. They have a salad that I absolutely love. It's called The Blue!!!! I get it buffaloed because I really like the tongue torch sauce. The workers are young and are very slow preparing orders. Sometimes, they don't pay attention and get the order completely wrong. If you visit this restaurant, make sure you take a jacket or sweater because it's freezing cold inside; the employees even work with jackets on. read more

I happen to love zaxbys. Their chicken and their fries and their sweet tea. However, the service at this specific one was pretty horrible. The staff was abnormally unhelpful and unfriendly. When asking for no bun on my grilled chicken the cashier was confused and left to allow someone else handle the transaction. When I had to repeat myself and then specify no bread at all I asked for one extra piece of lettuce to wrap it up, the response was "no, we can't do that. It's extra." Didn't even offer to let me pay the extra charge, just cut me off and ended the conversation. The best part is I left and then discovered my chicken sandwiched in bread. News flash, a large part of the population is gluten-free due to allergy or sensitivity, some to the point that they can't eat food that has touched bread. Thank you for NOT listening to my request. So please instruct your staff in how to listen to and prepare orders properly and let them know it costs nothing to be nice, somewhat personable, and attempt some form of customer service. Also, my irritation is t simply with the service. The sandwich itself was made very poorly. Zaxby's is fast food chicken. The food is very greasy but it always is. That's the way they do it. If you don't like that stay away. If you do like it come on in. Atmosphere - Decorated with local flair and pretty clean Staff - Friendly Food - I like it. But like I said it might not be for everyone. The sweet tea is great and they use that little ice that is the size of a corn kernel. My son likes the milkshakes but I miss plain ol' vanilla. Okay so this is my first time giving a business one star even though I wish I could give it less. I love Zaxbys but this location is not great. The service was terrible and so was the food. My salads chicken was cold and even the slices of bread that came with it were soggy and tasted less than fresh. I don't think I will be coming to this location anymore. This place went from good when it first opened to absolutely awful. The sweet tea has four pounds of sugar in it. Its unbearably sweet. The chicken tastes like it's cooked in four year old grease. Will NEVER go to this location in Hueytown again. Went thru drive thru, not busy as no customers there but still have to pull around and park TWENTY Minutes to wait for your chicken and STILL had to go back in and get fries that they left off. Not just this one time but last several times I've been. Keep this up and you'll be closing. Plus the staff are rude and unsanitary and sloppy. Put my sauces under the chicken fingers. I love Zaxbys but every time I come to this one we have bad service. This time we called in an order, after the fifth try they finally answered their phone, "took our order" and asked for our name. When we arrived our order was nowhere to be found. When we ordered, again, we asked for buffalo fingers, we were asked what flavor, when I said original the cashier said "the original is just plain no sauce" but if she would have looked at the sign beside her head she would have read that original is "the buffalo sauce that started it all" with 2 flames beside it.
