This was my first time going to a Zaxby's . I meant to go to one when I was in the Carolinas last time in 2019 , but I had so much good Country food and Carolina Bbq that I didn't go to one . This time just before I left to go back to Las Vegas , I went to this one . I have to say I was really disappointed . We have Raising Cane's in Las Vegas and I thought it would be on par with them , nope . Raising Cane's is soooo much better . The only thing I can say is that Zaxby's has a better selection of items to choose from . Raising Cane's is mostly Chicken Fingers , Texas Toast , Coleslaw , Sweet Tea , and one dipping sauce that is really good . They have a lot of locations and people love them . I parked and went inside even though I was getting mine to go , so I could see how the inside looked . The drive thru lane was a little backed up anyway . After checking out the menu , I decided to get Chicken Fingers and Fries . I was going to try the Cajun Club Chicken Filet Sandwich and asked the cashier if she had tried it and she said no . I figured maybe I would try it next time . I got either the Zax Sauce or Spicy Zax Sauce , but it didn't taste any where as good as Raising Cane's . The floor by the soda machines was wet , I'm talking a puddle ! I got a soda at first , but it tasted like mostly carbonated water , so I poured it out and got sweet tea . I sat for a while and I mean a while till I finally got my order . A couple people who came in after me got there food before me which was not nice . One guy came in from the drive thru while I was waiting and was complaining about something wrong with his order , like maybe they forgot something . He was not happy . I would like to try some of their different sandwiches and other items next time I come back to the Carolinas , but probably a different location like maybe Waynesville near where my sister lives . read more

I left a review but somehow it didn't get posted so I will try again. I have been a customer off and on for several years. The prices have begun to get out of hand since Covid, but I have come to expect that. This would have not been the cause of this review. The three pieces of chicken on my plate were quite small. The fries were cooked well before I arrived and not only were they not very hot, but they tasted like warmed over fries from my refrigerator. The Texas toast was mashed by what appeared to be someone's fingers. The fancy drink machine had more products out than available. (Including regular Coke and all Minit Made products) It is a shame that when chain businesses move into our county they eventually LOWER their standards rather than trying to stand out with their company standards. read more

Ordered the Zax Pack for Two. Drive thru was wrapped around the building but they make everything fresh so it's understandable. Line moved pretty fast and the food was good. Fresh. Crispy. Good job Zaxby's. My only complaint is that mascot. There is no way a chicken is that proud and happy to lay down his life for your business. A classier mascot would be nice but it's a minor complaint. Kind of offensive and funny in a dark way. read more

Tried the new advertised chicken tacos, chipotle ranch. Waited in line almost 20 minutes with 4 cars ahead of me. Parked and ate the food. I should have went back in for refund, but they were busy. The tacos I got and the ones advertised were NOT the same. 3 thin flimsy soft tacos . A small piece of chicken that only filled HAlf the length of each of the taco shells. Under it was a small sprinkling of cheese and some pico, and a squeeze of the ranch on top. I should have taken a picture. Couldn't even hold onto it because there was so much empty soft taco shell it was a slimy mess. What a rip off. Especially since it was $11.00. read more

Man oh man how Laurinburg has gotten built up in the last five years - looks like a totally different place. My kids love Zaxbys chicken - they're hooked on the Nibblerz Sandwiches, Chicken Fingers and Zax Sauce here. Plus who doesn't like those Coke Freestyle Machines. My go to is the Kicken' Chicken Sandwich with a Raspberry Coke = Nectar of the Gods! Our visit here was good - food was fresh - came out fast - there was an error on our order but when we pointed it out, they took the charge off and still let us have that item. read more

When I got to my car, I opened the 4 finger box to see that they were not tossed in wing sauce as I had ordered. I took the box back in, it was thrown in the trash, and the cashier yelled to the back to remake the order. Another 10 min pass and she realized I was still standing there waiting and still frustrated. read more

I stopped at this Zaxby's on the way home. The wait in the drive through was over 30 min. The car in front of me finally drove off without picking up their order. My order was wrong, my credit card was charged, I was handed back cash instead of crediting my card, and still no food.......45 minutes wasted lol. read more

Made the mistake of going to this location again today. Sat in the drive through line for 24 minutes and never made it to the intercom to place my order. There was no movement at all. When we finally left we were stopped at a red light for an additional 2 minutes and the line still hadn't moved. Half and hour in a line for fast food? It is comically terrible. A manger replied to my last post but obviously no changes have been made. Avoid at all cost if you have literally any other way you'd rather spend your time. read more

Stopped to get dinner to bring home and the chicken fingers I ordered were put in wax paper cookie bags! The heat and sauce caused the bags to break open. Now I'm having to pick little pieces of wax paper out of my food. Who does something like this?!?! Not happy Zaxbys! read more

Food was made quick despite an order for a family of 4, maybe 10 minutes at worst. Good range of sauses and temperatures without throwing you into choice hell. Went with the tenders and toast though them salads were calling my name. Clean eating environment and bathrooms with is more then I can say for some places. Staff seemed well trained and composed even when an what I can only assume was a random school bus full of 20 pre-K filled up the lobby. Maybe be a little quicker to clear off tables as some elderly man practically ran us out of ours when we were preparing to leave. Guess that is to be expected though when eating at a hot spot during lunch rush. read more

I have never seen a restaurant as dirty as it was. When I walked in the ground was filthy like the floors had not been mopped in the last week. And the bathrooms were disgusting. When I walked out back into the lobby there were 3 employees just standing there on there phones. And they were out of almost everything on the menu. Everytime that I visit this location I have received great customer service. The quality of my food is always good. Today I ordered the chicken salad sandwich meal with an additional five fingers. The dining room was clean and the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked also. The only downside to the restaurant is that they continually are raising their prices. I love the food but being on a teaching salary and having a family to feed, I don't get to get there as often as I would like to. Overall though the team is doing a great job. read more

So let me see........three people write a review and they're all bad. I visited this place and inside was packed and the drive through was lined up around the building and out of the parking lot. I think I'll disregard the poor reviews. This place is new to my hometown or at least it's new since my visit last year. Wanted to try it and as it was lunch time, I did. This place is another fast food chicken restaurant along the lines of Chick-Fil-A where everything is chicken: Chicken wings, chicken fingers, chicken......well, you get it. I ordered me a Kicken Chicken Sandwich with tongue torching sauce and fries. The sandwich was good as it is made with Texas toast but as far as the "tongue torching" sauce goes, well, lets just say that I've been living next to the border for too long for this sauce to register on my heat index. Still, it was good for a chicken finger sandwich. The menu looked like it had a lot of good things to try so I'll hit it up again the next time I'm in town. read more

In the past I've enjoyed their sandwiches. I have been there twice in the last 2 months for salads. The first trip was terrible BUT... gave it another chance. Ordered two salads. They both looked like they had been in the frig for well over a week. The lettuce not fresh- very wilted. tomatoes were glassy looking and we pulled them off they were not edible. One salad had two small pieces of chicken. There was supposed to be carrot shreds and purple cabbage. No carrots in sight and maybe there were two or threes SMALL shreds of cabbage . Per the order, You're to receive two dressings per salad... we received two dressing for both and one was opened and leaked inside our bag. We ordered an extra side of the Texas toast. Their was little or no garlic or butter on the bread- one side was not toasted. We threw this out. I literally paid over $18 to throw most of the dinner away. I will say that the staff was nice, punctual and appeared to all be wearing masks. The problem is def the food. Will NOT be going back there EVER. Please stay away from the salads and the toast. I wish I had thought of taking pics of the tomatoes. It probably would have created a visit from the health dept. read more

As an avid Zaxby's fan, I was incredibly disappointed in this locations service and food. For starters, the lady took 15 minutes just to take our order and seemed to not understand the principle of putting the customer first. She was very rude and refused to give us any extra sauce. Since Zaxbys is a fast food restaurant, I'm confused why it took nearly half an hour to get our food? If I wanted to wait that long I could have gone to Waffle House or Golden Corral where the food and service are much better. Anyway, the food was average at best however the fries were incredibly salty. They must have cooked them in seawater as the salt was way too strong. I hope they improve the "Zax culture" for the future and improve the quality of their food. read more

I visited here right after their grand opening. I went inside and ordered take out. The place was complete chaos. The order taker messed up my order and seemed to care less about listening to my order so I had to order twice. The food was cold and tasted horrible when I got home which was only a 5 minute drive.
