Brought a Zax snack this morning. Once home, I attempt to eat, but found it dry and burnt. The food was uneatable. It had to be left over from the previous day - just reheated and given to me. Contacted store manager about poor service and bad food. She apologized and said she would talk with employees. The bottom line, employees usually do what mangers say and do. So, in my opinion they were told to serve bad food, just did not think they would be caught. We read about the poor reviews for this Zaxby's but want to support neighbor store. Until their ratings are above four stars, we will not return to this star. The owner needs to be address these issues. Making a profit at any cost it bad business. We want to support you, but not by allowing you to take advantage of us. Owner should post his/her number so that they can hear how to improve their store. read more

My husband and I went through the drive thru and attempted to order 2-grilled chicken Cobb salad's. The young lady said 4-salads. My husband said no, 2-. She said 4-salads two of each and he asked her how was she coming up with 4. She was quiet. The next voice we hear is a male saying he didn't like the way his employee was being talked to and we were being declined service. My husband was able to reach the Manager and she said that corporate has given them the authority to decline service if customers are being rude. I told her no one was being rude. She said they are young and they are trying to teach them. I told her as a customer I was very offended and no one was being rude. She offered us 2- free salads. I told her they need to be trained or their doors might be permanently closed due to their employees rudeness and lack of understanding. I will go and get my salads but will never go to this location again. read more

This restaurant has allot of unprofessional young adults working here! I have never been so upset with their customer service! No one needs to come here. They have their friends just chilling inside of the restaurant and getting free food while they will tell a paying customer that they are about to close so they are not making anymore order. When I was told that, they closed in a hour. To add to that, they had 10 cars waiting in line and instead of saying, we closed early, they would just let you sit there and not tell you anything. I've always loved Zaxby's. My corporation used to always order lunch there, but not anymore. We just chose another restaurant with top notch customer service. Their manager also is the worst! A great place to be if you want to watch the years pass by while waiting in the drive thru. As much money as this place costs, you could have a substantial meal and Chili's or Applebees. Why anyone goes to Zaxby's is beyond my comprehension. I only come here to order the Cobb Salad for my mother. And under no circumstances ask for an additional condiment as they'll nickel and dime you towards an already expensive meal. Panola Road-Long lines inside & outside. I can barely understand what the person in the drive thru is saying. And they ALWAYS, WITHOUT FAIL get my salad order wrong. I ask for wimpy sauce instead of tongue torch. I get tongue torch 9 out of 10 times. I ask for ranch dressing they give me blue cheese 9 of of 10 times. The current staff is somewhat courteous but I did encounter a very unprofessional manager and cook. I wish I could be done with this place but I absolutely love the food. SO ADDICTED. The location on Panola Rd in Lithonia is just like this but worse. I have to ask for UTENSILS & NAPKINS. One time I was actually given ONE NAPKIN! WTF? DON'T THEY USE RECYCLED NAPKINS. I wish i could rate this location a NEGATIVE 10. Their score is an 82 as of today, i guess that's better than the 70 they had on there score card last month. Their service is horrible, place is not clean behind the counter,and they never have enough inventory. This Is the worst Zaxby's that I've ever been to. Orders take far too long to be processed. Expect to spend forever sitting in the drive thru while you prepare to get food that is probably cold by the time you get it. Don't forget to turn off your car while you're at it, because you'll most certainly waste gas while waiting for them to do anything and everything besides giving you your food in a timely manner. Watch Your Orders Went through the drive-thru for a zensation zalad. This salad was terrible. Missing coleslaw, small amount of lettuce, 1/4 eggroll instead of a whole. Like it was made from the last of the left overs. I bought this for my fiance. We were both infuriated. Unfortunately I was 30 miles away, 9pm. Couldn't return it. There were quite a few young people playing around in the store. It was obvious that they were either friends of the staff or off-duty staff members. In spite of the store being staffed to the point of being almost overstaffed, service was slow. I purchase a chicken finger meal and a cookie for dine in and had to go back to the counter for utensils....so you KNOW I didn't get my cookie. The place is a mess. read more

Well let me start ... First off this location was terribly disgusting . It smelled like burnt grease ... The floors was greasy like it had been mopped with dirty mop water .. My table was sticky so I moved to the next table and what do you think happened ??? Yes just as sticky lol ... Anyhow on to the food ... I can see where the smell was coming from once I bit into my chicken ... It was cooked in old oil or burnt oil ... I went to the drink machine and the only thing was working was ginger ale lol like come on can this get any worst ... The service at this location has gone down. My past couple of visits to this location has presented poorly prepared food. On yesterday I ordered food and the kickin chicken meals has so much sauce that they were drowning and the bread was soggy from the sauce. It seems like a handful of fries were also with the meal. I called back to the store to speak with a manager and the person that answered the phone first spoke so low and unprofessional, Did not even answer stating Zaxby's and I was on hold for 10 minutes and no manager returned to the phone. I tried to call back and it was like the phone rung once and disconnected. This is by far the worst Zaxby's location. They really are hit or miss and with that being said, I typically drive past this one and stop by Stonecrest. Well today it's raining and I'm driving in from Alpharetta; hungry, wet, and just want to get home. I stop by this one and get home. Although this has been the case a few times in the past (hit or miss), every piece of my chicken tenders tasted the way cigarette ashes smell. YES, the chicken fingers tasted like cigarette ashes. This is one Zaxby's I would never visit again I went to Zaxby's and I ordered a 20 piece honey hot mustard wings I got to the window to pay and they said my car didn't work and I asked her what is it saying she said says some type of code I pull off get down to the end of the street I get an alert that my card was charged I go back up to the place talk to the manager and told them my card was charged she said what can you bring it in so I can see it I said no I am not properly dressed do I have to wait in line again she said yes you have to wait in line again and come to the window so I took my phone up there to show her that I havei been charged I am very skeptical. This place is absolutely ridiculous! Not only did I wait in the line over 30 mins, but the girl that took my order did not even acknowledge me in the speaker. All she said was "What's your order?". Once I got to the window, she took my money and handed me my change and my meal and shut the window. Now my MEAL usually comes with a drink, which I ordered, and when I finally waved her down, I asked her for my drink. She handed me my drink then shut the window swiftly again. Looked down at my drink and saw a spoon was added but no straw... ok. I tried to wave her down again but she acted like she didn't see me so I drove off (You'd think she's be in one too many robbery attempts) . Thank GOD I had an extra one in the car or there would have been a different conversation. Overall, this experience, much like past ones at this location have been nothing but negative. Absolutely is the worst zaxbys location. Takes about 30 to 40 mins in drive thru and food is just nasty. French fries always burnt and cold. Tenders was cooked so long, there was hardly any "chicken" inside, only hard crust. Mushrooms always swimming in oil and mushy. And zalad hardly have any lettuce. Pulled up to this Zaxby's after a day of traveling. Went inside thinking the service would be faster since they had a nice line outside. Immediately walking in, NO ONE was at the counter. We made sure we had our orders ready since no one was there. The cooks in the back just stare at you. FINALLY, Nicole says she will be with us shortly. So after we placed our order, we grabbed a table to dine at. While waiting, Nicole yells across the restaurant, "COME HERE, YOUR DAUGHTER, COME HERE!" My husband proceeds to go to the counter and find our what is the problem. She tells him they are out of french fries and what would she like as a substitute. He addressed Nicole and let her know politely she was out of order. First, she yelled across the restaurant. Next, not only was Zaxbys out of French fries for her order but for his order as well. I love Zaxby's, but the Zaxby's on S. Deshon Rd. has to be the worst restaurant in the world. Poor manager, servers, cooks. Zaxby's should close this restaurant until they can train a manager to train the staff. Staff playing and chatting with friends. I dare you to try and understand the person on the speaker at the drive-thru. Speaking of the drive-thru, the light on the menu board has not worked for 3 years. No one ever says thank you. Orders are served incorrectly more often than correctly. My wife and I were once served two dine-in zalads with no forks. When I told the employee that we needes forks, she said THEY WERE OUT OF FORKS! Drive-thru orders are always incorrect. The "last straw" was when I arrived home and discovered my nibler meal had NO MEAT IN THE BUNS !!!
