Don't judge; I was hungry for wings and Zaxby's is less than one-half mile from my house. This store is tucked behind a stoplight. I, honestly, don't know how most people don't miss it. Judging by the number of people there I might be on to something. The person who waited on my had the softest voice and I had to ask her to repeat herself over and over. The restaurant was mostly clean but given the low traffic it should have been spotless. My order came out super fast and the wings were tasty. I don't like ginormous pterodactyl wings, but these were tiny. With 10 wings and cheese bites my order was $22. Zaxby's prices tell me they think a lot more of themselves than they probably should. I'll go back but I'll try something less cost prohibitive next time. read more

Thank you Denzel for correcting my order and apologizing for the poor customer service your night shift gives. The night shift manager was constantly telling me my food wasn't ready after waiting in drive thru for 20 mins. I came in the lobby and felt my presence was annoying,very hostile environment I never gave them a problem though. A young lady at the register finally gave me my receipt ,which was obviously old and my food that was incorrect I was missing cookies and tenders.Thank you again Denzel for resolving my problem. read more

This is great sure they will get the order wrong sometimes but they will give you nice hot food and some kindness but granted they will put all the pickles on one side and sauce. :) read more

My wife and I stopped in while traveling at the Zaxby's in Orangeburg, South Carolina. We love Zaxby's! We were quite surprised though. Today at noon when we walked in, being New Year's Day, there only about four or five other customers there. What was interesting was, each customer had to wait about 15 minutes for their food. The workers in the kitchen seemed slow to respond to customers and food preparation. It also appeared that there was a group of young ladies, perhaps friends of the employees, who they were having a "pajama party" there in the dining room. At times they were also behind the counter and in the kitchen. Let's just say a very uncomfortable and perplexing situation. You gotta love Zaxby's chicken strips! Upon ordering my food from the window a black male was fixing the food or helping out. I took my food back in because the order was wrong. I asked that both my chicken and tenders be dipped in hot honey mustard. Well they did the wings, and gave me three more tenders with hot honey mustard. Went there on 5 September, 2020 and dined in. Ordered the fried house salad and fried pickles. The food was great. They had tables closed so inside diners could maintain social distancing. The guy behind the counter, Dalton W, was great. He ran the counter and line like a professional. If I were a big name chef with a big name restaurant, I'd hire him in a heartbeat to be an expediter. I knocked a star off only because at the cash register they had a sign about a change shortage and could you pay by card. Cash is my preferred payment when eating out. The food is typical what you'll find at any other Zaxbys. It can be hit or miss some days and they have no problem giving you cold food. The service is terrible every cashier from the window to the counter seems to have an attitude. On one occasion we notice we were charge for an extra sauce we did not order. So we ask the Cashier about it she proceeds to talk down to us telling us it's just a quarter which I understand that but all we did was ask a question. Also tried to lie at first saying it was the extra mayo when I know extra mayo isn't a charge bc I use to work there and go there quite often.
