I was in the restaurant on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at approximately 3:00pm. Four workers were talking among themselves and not 1 of them acknowledged me. This was my favorite restaurant. If I could give this place 0 starts I would. First thing I noticed was the floor. It was wet and sticky. Next thing I noticed is the frigid temperature shortly met after you damn near stick to the floor. After waiting 20 minutes to order we got our order number. They then took 30 minutes to call the number infront of us then skipped out number. After they called the next number we decided to talk to them. They gave us a sorry response after finally giving us are damn near cold food. read more

Wish we'd checked on Yelp before eating here. I'd assumed all Wendy's had the same standards, but this one had some real problems. I certainly won't count on Wendy's as a reliable brand again. To start with, they wouldn't take credit cards and would only accept the exact change on orders. There was no sign on the door or any other indication of this until you got ready to pay. The floor was slick thanks to a leaking drink machine, and nobody seemed to be addressing that while we were there. The bathrooms were filthy with overflowing trash cans and non-operating hand driers. There was a young person sleeping at one of the tables the whole time we were there, and everyone seemed to accept that as normal. read more

It's like they're working with one person. And that person is taking the orders and preparing the food. I've seen two employees in the parking lot. I wonder if that's affecting order times. There were 2 cars in front of me in line. They took car1's order & the car pulled up. Time passes and they take car2's order and they pull up. Time passes and they take my order and I pull up. Car1 is gone from the window and the line behind me is much longer. By the time I get to the window, my food still isn't ready. So as I wait, I look inside and 3 employees. This Wendy's is an absolute disaster and a disgrace to fast food. I stood at the counter for SIX minutes with no employees coming to assist me--no other customers inside or in the drive-thru. What were they doing? A staff meeting in Narnia? The place was FILTHY. Bathrooms were like something out of a horror movie--just nastiness everywhere you look. The counters and drink station? Even worse. Speaking of drinks, I tried to fix myself one, and the machine spurted on me. You mean to tell me no one noticed the machine was broken? Doubtful. Stopped by the drive-through, ordered 2 burgers, 1 French fry, 1 frosty, 1 coke and 1 sweet tea. No frosty, no coke, no sweet tea available so just order Dr Pepper. If I could give zero stars I would. When we first walked in the manager was yelling at someone in the parking lot spewing foul language. The person at the register was rude also and telling the person next to her bagging the items to mind their business when he was trying to help a customer. It took 20 min from the time I walked up to the counter to place my order. Several people walked out and there was a lot of talking about the condition of the store and the rude staff throughout. Stopped here to get a bite to eat on our way home from the lake. We went through the drive thru. The employees we encountered were polite and professional. The line seemed to move quick as well. The order was correct and error free. The food was also hot and the fries were fresh. I did feel that the burger needed to be seasoned better though. They also needed to add more salt on the fries. 3 stars because it was average in my opinion. Nothing really stood out to get them higher than average. I would stop here again. read more

Literally the WORST Wendy's I've ever been to in my entire life. I read the previous reviews and figured ok, maybe they were having a bad day ... boy was I fooled. First, I sat there for about 13 minutes just to order and finally get my food in the drive thru. I timed it for proof. Re-freaking-diculous. Once I finally got my food, I was able to get moving because I'm traveling and needed to get back on the highway. Big mistake. Should have checked the food before I left. After waiting thirteen minutes for my food, the chicken nuggets were cold. Really? I waited all this time just to get 10 COLD chicken nuggets? The fries. Slightly warm. You mean to tell me I waited thirteen minutes for fries too, and they're not even fresh out of the fryer? The drive thru line was pretty heavy, so I just knew that since it appeared to be a tiny bit crowded, they were going to have to keep cooking food and my food was surely going to be piping, mouth burning, hot. Nope. The line was just long because they are beyond slow inside. I had already been on the highway and I was pretty thirsty too. My sweet tea... tasted like straight water with a few drops of sweet tea in it for flavor. I can't even say the tea was watered down, because it wasn't. The water had tea in it for flavor. The most mind-boggling thing was there were two or three managers meeting in the far corner watching the 'busy' front counter commending the shift manager for a slammed couple of hours. I went to school in Orangeburg and visited this location frequently. Never had a bad experience until I came back for graduation and stopped for a DRINK. There was a sign that appeared to be old on the drive thru monitor that read "cash only". I decided to ask if the sign was still accurate because.... Not a lot of people carry cash anymore. Instead of just answering yes or no, the young lady at the drive thru got extremely rude with me and said "YES IF THE SIGN IS STILL THERE THEN WE ARE STILL ONLY TAKING CASH". Now granted, I'm sure she gets that question all the time... but if the sign says something as inconvenient as "cash only"... best believe you're going to get questions. So I went inside, ordered my drink from a nice and respectful employee and asked for the manager. He was almost not shocked that I complained about the young lady... same for the young lady that took my order. Fast food is a difficult business. I understand, but if you are unable to be patient with customers... maybe you should try another field. Customer service is everything to me... and many others. If I could give no stars I would, this place is gross, the floors were extremely sticky where my girlfriends flip flops would barely stay on her feet. Took long enough for someone re realize we were standing at the front counter. Then there was no greeting, place reminded me of the funeral home when my grandfather died. After I got my food, and two drink I said "excuse me" give times to the lady at the drink machine, 2 feet away. She decided she just wanted to ignore me. Pretty bad Wendy's compared to the chain. Handicapped women's bath stall was locked (!)...hand dryer didn't work. Messy bathroom. Staff said the h/c bath stall, "Must have locked by itself." Slow service if you have big crowds please reconsider. On April 1st at 12:12pm it was very slack and unorganized employees, serveral guest left because the line was so long. A outhouse makes the bathroom look good. They was out of Katchup and napkins. I had to goto the bathroom to get paper towels for my wife to use. If you have small kids with the long wait I would think twice. The foresty machine was down the employees gave me room temperature fries. This Wendy is off I-26 exit 145 in Orangeburg SC.
