Stopped here on the way to Durham. Convenient location close to the 85. The restaurant and the bathrooms were clean. It was lunch time and was pretty busy but the employees were great and everyone got their food in a timely manner. I had the House Salad with the fried chicken and that heavenly toast. They have a lite vinaigrette that is pretty good too. I also had a few bites of the coleslaw which was pretty close to KFC's if not better. And to top it all off they have House chips and crinkle cut fries! That is always a win in my book. read more

My experience her was your average Zaxby's dining experience. The cashier was really kind. The place was clean. The food was average. The price was decent for what you got- except their dumb practice of charging extra for dressings and sauces. The blue cheese on my salad was really good. I used to love Zaxbys but after the last few times I have been very disappointed. Mediocre dining experience at best. Sine their dining room was closed for more than a year I guess they need some time to get back in the swing of things. After waiting more than ten minutes and my order not being called I went to the counter to check the status. The friendly lady who took my order said it's coming right up. She then yelled to the back asking for my order to be made, how strange. I think a couple that came in about five minutes after me got the friend privilege and received my order. I won't get into that here, but shame shame Zaxby's. Once I finally did receive my order it was piping hot! I was thankful for that. The chicken and the toast were delicious. The fries not so much. They were burnt to a crisp with zero seasoning what so ever. But, I will be back to give this establishment another try as this one was not the usual expected experience at a Zaxby's. read more

Unfortunately this is the closest one to me but every order I get either has overcooked chicken or chicken left out too long and has become stale. Quite a disappointing Zaxby's. I love Zaxby's! Absolutely love it. Every time I come here the ladies alway get my order right and they are super quick when I'm ready to get home and eat it. I always get a 4 piece chicken tender plate with a Mello Yello. It's my weakness. It's nice Thomasville has one of these now!! read more

I was so excited to have a new restaurant in the Thomasville area. I have been to this location several times since they opened. I will never return and haven't been here for the past year. The staff here are young and don't care. They are there for one thing and that is a pay check. Food is either cold, burnt, or has a weird taste. They want to charge you for any and every dipping saucer that you could want. If you order hot chips you have to pay for the ranch. Just add it to the cost of the chips and provide it regardless. This is the only place I know of that charges for the ranch for hot chips, and the package ranch they provide is horrible. The coke machine is nasty and is always out of soda. Even the other locations in the Triad area have went down hill. I just avoid Zaxby's all together. read more

We stopped here on the way home from a road trip. Obviously there are not many choices for a vegetarian since it's the chicken place but I had the grilled cheese and a house salad and it was surprisingly good! Their grilled cheese sandwich is golden brown and crispy on the outside, and stuffed with warm melty cheese. The garden house salad is big enough for 2, loaded with toppings, and it only cost about five bucks! The Texas toast is crispy and buttery and garlicky and totally addictive! The carnivores reported that the chicken strips are great too. We don't have this restaurant in my city but if I'm ever passing one I wouldn't hesitate to stop and have a quick fast food lunch here! Went thru the drive thru this evening. The girl taking orders was standing near the tea/soda area. She raised a device to her mouth and when she blew the smoke out I realized she was puffing on an e cigarette, yes, inside the building while working. The experience we had while taking our order wasn't the best, the restaurant was out of slaw, they had no drinks other than tea and water, the general Tso chicken sign was still out, we were told that special no longer existed...but the cigarette was the last straw. I gave this a 4 out of a 5 star because they weren't busy enough to give a full review. However, I really enjoyed my first time visiting a Zaxby's. It was a really nice experience. I went simple in getting chicken fingers, fries and toast. The toast was so delicious, but I'm easy to please. I loved the Zaxby's Sauce. It's really good with a nice kick of heat, but nothing overbearing. Also, huge fan of the Cola Machine and being able to have more than just one flavor of a drink! read more
