the wait time for this restaurant is absolutely RIDICULOUS. weather you order at the speaker or online prepare to wait for 30+ minutes. something has to give. all the reviews are saying the same thing, a higher up needs to come out and fix the issue. the workers are stopping the cars just before they reach the window so they can keep their wait time down. I love Zaxby's, but avoid this one. It was close to empty when we arrived. Two soda machines, one was turned off, the other had three selections. The soda we were given from behind the counter was very flat and off flavored. It took about 15 min to get our order of three standard menu items. We got no napkins or forks with the order. When asking for napkins, because there were none out, we were given a short roll of paper, about enough for one person and had to ask for more. My sandwich was fine, but the place did not feel clean. I was asked if I wanted ketchup and I said yes please. I got a lot of packets in my bag. All of these felt sticky like several packets broke open in the box. I know it's some work, but clean them up. I went into the bathroom and the men's urinal had a paper bag in the bottom with a hand written note stating "out of order". So, this Zaxby's is officially THEE worst. I tried three times. (I know, Silly Rabbit‍). So each time I ordered online, via the app, I was nothing but disappointed & pissed. First time, order completely wrong. Had to wait for remake. Okay. It happens. No big deal. Second time, I get there to inquire about an order I had placed 20 mins prior to my arrival. They cant find it. No one can locate the ckn fingers the cook said she made, until the manager came out, looked in the trash & grabbed, what WAS my order, out & instructed a new one to be made. Had to wait again. Third time, today. I placed an order on the way home from work. App says order will be ready at 4:47. I show up at 5:15. AGAIN, they cant find my order. I chose Wendy's over this...... Stopped by Zaxby's today and went through the drive thru....BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!! Yes it's Friday and almost 9...yes I'm on the strip in Union City with almost every fast food establishment on top of each other....but to sit for more than 30 minutes after I placed my order is just too much. The car in front of me held the drive thru until after it was was wrapped around the building. They kept sending their food back. It's 3 youngsters in this car and they think it's funny to start eating their food and then saying it isn't right. I watched them send 32oz cups back for refills because I've sat here so long. They thinks it's funny and so does the cashier at the window. Meanwhile no one had enough sense to tell them to pull forward or to come in since they were holding up the line. After watching them send their food back for the third time, I decided. Zaxby's wasn't worth the time they wasted and they definitely weren't worth the hassle. Even though I was next to get to the window I left, went across the street to Wendy's, placed an order behind 3 or 4 other cars, received PROMPT service and FRESHLY COOKED FOOD, for LESS than I would have spent at Zaxby's without the shenanigans. read more

The interior was a little gross, which is why I'm knocking off a star. The ice machine filled to the brim with crushed ice cubes that was falling all over the floor. Placed an online order that said it would be done in 9 minutes , after 30 minutes of waiting for my order I asked for a refund , workers insisted it would be done shortly but when I asked how much longer they could not give me an exact time frame of when my order would be ready meanwhile there were about 6 or more people in and out the restaurant who got there online orders. After one hour and 15 minutes my order was finally ready . I traveled 20 hours and was expecting food to be great & it was just ok wings weren't all the way done & order wasn't correct. Visited 4/28 and waited over 40 ministers in the drive thru. I was completed committed and my youngest son had a long day of boy scouting events so I had to get him Zaxby's tonight. I know and understand that the youth and the millennial's have to be taught work ethics, but those ethics should be taught by quality individuals who poses those ethics. The young girls at the window and the counter were on their phones and I am assuming that snapchat and instagram is more important than servicing the customers. I guess at this point in the fast food business the stakeholders are allowed to inflate their prices and provide the consumer whatever.... The wait..the food was mediocre at best. Stopped here on my way from Alabama back to the Atlanta Airport. Zaxby's never disappoints. I ordered chicken strips and fries. It came with the bread and dipping sauce. The food was nice and fresh.
