After immediately spitting it out, they poured the rest of the smoothie out and discovered multiple large chunks of glass blended directly into the drink. This gross negligence could have caused catastrophic internal injuries. While DoorDash was notified, the response from Get Fruity itself has been completely unacceptable. I contacted the store directly to address this, and the individual who identified themselves as the manager via text message offered absolutely **no apology, no accountability, and zero regard for my client's physical well-being**. To make matters worse, they flat-out refused to provide their name or any corporate contact information over text. They sell a s'mores kit for $3 which isn't bad. I also liked the fact that they have a drink shack with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. I really love that there is something like this in the African American community! I think that it gives those who live in and around the community a safe place to have fun and experience other minority small businesses that they can support. In following them on social media, I've noticed they also provide other events like wellness Wednesdays (yoga) and sip and paints.
