We knew that the lottery machines were closed for ordering regular Lotto tickets, we understood they closed around 10 p.m. but when we asked the worker to purchase multiple scratch offs he told us no because the scratch off is closed at 10PM. We were told by him that we cannot order any scratch off lottery tickets at that time. We found it awkward because we never had this problem even at that same store as I have been going there for the last 30 years or so as it is half a block away from my apartment.. so me and my wife went outside waited about 2 minutes and asked a Caucasian male that was on his way inside the store to please purchase us a scratch off ticket, we gave him the cash and sure enough he came out with the ticket. He came out and handed it to us with no problem (see attached picture for exact ticket).
