Great service with detailed explanation about what to expect. I have bad anxiety and I'm claustrophobic so I wasn't thrilled to climb into a dark box....But, I've heard about sensory deprivation chambers for years so I decided to finally give it a try. I'm glad I did. About half way through the session I was able to get up and close the lid to have complete darkness. It was cool to just float and let go of worries and pain. I feel relaxed and my joint and back pain has lessened! I bought 2 more sessions on my way out because I think I'll get an even better benefit the next time I go. I highly recommend zen float center as a woman run local business and because it's great!

Every time I find a…read morenew massage place that takes walk-ins, I always hope it'll be a good one, and this was honestly one of the best experiences I've had. I paid $60 for a one-hour full body massage, and unlike some other foot spas where they just go over your clothes, this was the full experience. The spa itself was very clean, the music was calming, and the woman who worked on me seemed very skilled and experienced. The massage was the perfect mix of relaxing and deep tissue. She even used hot stones and warm wet towels throughout, which made it feel like I got more than my money's worth. As I was leaving, she handed me a banana and a cold water, which was such a thoughtful touch. I really don't think I need to check out any other spots in the area now because this place was exactly what I was hoping for. I'll definitely be back. Thank you!

After seeing several positive reviews and receiving flyers for this new business, I decided to…read morevisit for a massage. Upon checking in, the lady at the front desk asked if I was comfortable with a male masseuse. Having had many massages before and typically preferring males due to the pressure they can provide, I agreed. Initially, I booked a 30-minute session, but as the half-hour passed, the masseuse suggested extending to an hour since my back was particularly sore after having my third baby. I agreed, hoping for more relief. Unfortunately, the second half of the session quickly took a negative turn. The massage became uncomfortably painful, and despite voicing my discomfort multiple times, the pressure on my spine remained excessive. Additionally, I chose to keep my lower undergarments on, as this was my first visit to this location. However, I felt uneasy when the male masseuse repeatedly adjusted my undergarments to the point where I was exposed. While massaging my legs, his hands moved into areas that felt entirely inappropriate. At one point, I was touched in a way that left me stunned and questioning if I was overthinking the situation. The session ended with more uncomfortable actions, such as him "stretching" my arms in a way that lifted the upper half of my body off the table. I was eager to leave as soon as it was over. The experience left me shaken, and I immediately called my husband to share what had happened. After reflecting over the weekend, I returned on Sunday to speak with someone in charge. The front desk staff member was kind but had limited English proficiency. She called a manager, and I explained what occurred. While the manager listened, her initial response included laughter, which made me feel as though the seriousness of the situation wasn't fully understood. She emphasized that this was the first complaint they had received and that the masseuse was new. Although they refunded my payment, the interaction left me and my husband uncertain whether appropriate steps would be taken to prevent this from happening to anyone else. This was a deeply unsettling experience, and I debated whether to share it publicly. Ultimately, I believe it is important for others--especially women--to know what I experienced before deciding to visit. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary safeguards to ensure the comfort and safety of all clients in the future.

One 90 min massage with Tara and I was sold. She is kind, respectful, and it is so obvious that she loves what she does and spends hours honing her craft. Like all Massage Envy's, they cut you short about 10-15 min to "review your needs and dress/undress" which is ridiculous because that all takes about 2-3 min tops, and their add-ons are quite expensive, but if you sign up for a membership while they are running a special, they throw in perks like free upgrades. I've tried the targeted percussion therapy, the aromatherapy, the foot scrub, the Himalayan salt stones, the hot stones, the CBD oil and hot towels, and a few other items. I've never noticed a big difference with any of that stuff but the hot stones and CBD towel experience were quite nice. Regardless, it all comes down to who your massage therapist is and I cannot speak to the others, but Tara is phenomenal. Membership rates are steep and I wish they had less than a year- commitment because I would get massages more frequently if they were more affordable. I recently tried another massage salon that had a better price and it wasn't worth it. The whole time, I was comparing them to Tara and the quality of Massage Envy. I highly recommend this location and this therapist. You will NOT be disappointed.

She is not welcoming at all and doesn't even show you around in regards to different modalities, etc. When asking her about some things she just blows you off. When calling you can't even hear what is being said on the machine. Did the float pod initially with my dtr. and a massage with Jimmie and Kolibri (who are BOTH absolutely FANTASTIC). They were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the facility. Later learned that they were the ones who originally built Mystic Float. Too bad they sold it. I will still go there to see them both for massages, but will not use any of the other modalities there. Went twice to the salt cave and spoke to Julie about the halotherapy that appeared to not be working properly. Told me that she cleaned it, but it still was not putting out any mist. Waste of money and the music in the salt cave was way too loud. I will return to 'Inner Whispers' on Hills and Dales for the halotherapy (which is GREAT and you can actually feel the mist. And plus they have other modalities there and the energy throughout the place is INCREDIBLE). If they had a different person running Mystic Float their business might pick up, but unfortunately Julie does not have the right energy, temperament, or attitude for a wellness center. No one should have to walk thru the doors of this type of business and feel like they're an inconvenience or not welcome.
