We were so excited to find this place and even more excited to find it an amazing place! We scheduled time in the salt cave. We'd heard positive stuff about the many health benefits (sinuses, insomnia, and ear infections, to name a few) and decided to try it - I researched and found this place was the highest rated. Seriously relaxing. The cave is clean and cozy, and very comfortable. We felt de-stressed and really enjoyed/appreciated it. Afterwards, we were shown around by the owner (wonderful owners and wonderful staff!). We even got to try out the aqua massage - I can't explain how cool this was. We decided to add another service to extend our time here - the salt booth. Smaller than the cave and very intense. It helped us both with our sinus issues. Can't wait to go back and try the float pod next! It was reasonably priced and worth the drive from the west side! Can't wait to return! read more

A wonderful spa experience. A great place to relax and feel better. On a girls trip we visited the salt cave which was better than any other we have experienced. The owner was very informative and took her time showing and explaining the benefits of their many other therapy options. Because they also have a variety of pricing packages we returned the next day to visit the salt cave again and then chose an additional therapy option. All were more than we expected. I didn't know what to expect with the salt cave but I was pleasantly surprised! I wanted to do something with my teenage daughter and bff and this was perfect. All of us were seriously relaxed. The owners and receptionist were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Overall great experience. I'll be back to do the salt cave again and try the floating pods. I highly recommend. read more

I have visited The Himalayan Cave twice now. Friendly, unpretentious greetings from staff when you enter and a sincere desire to share with you the benefits of Himalayan salt in all its forms. Take advantage of the Half dome salt warmers to toast your toes while you eat wait for your session. Once in the cave, gravity free chairs let you lounge in comfort with soft like spa blankets and heated salt balls to target specific area of your choice. Soothing music and forty five minutes of no electronics or chit chat or interruptions give some your mind and body a chance to recharge on the slat ions blown in through a special measured system. Relaxation, health and wellness. The Salt Cave is all about these aspects of the self. The owners are so down to earth and friendly. It is a casual, relaxed atmosphere, no snooty spa vibes here. They do take walk ins but space in the Salt Cave is limited so it's best to reserve a spot. Be sure to get there early as there is a brief form to fill out and some Coolio salt domes to rest your feet on as you wait. These are heated and feel soooo great on the tootsies. You can shop a bit as well because they offer all sorts of Himalayan salt products at Oh So Reasonable prices. I really felt the whole place was set up to offer the benefits of the salt to others...not to gouge you for money. Staff is enthusiastic about what they do and more than willing to explain or answer any questions you may have. The woman at the front desk had us try a salt scrub on our hands. It was marvelous! There is a little fountain with rocks that you rinse your hands in. So Zen and beautiful. We haven't even entered the cave yet! Fast forward to cave dwelling. We were given blue surgical booties to put on over our socks, they recommend white on the website FAQ section, and a cap to protect our hair. As we entered the cave we walk through a thick, luxurious layer of loose salt covering the floor. You can scoop some up and play with it or move your feet in it like sand at the beach. No touching the walls or cave outcropping please. The ceiling is designed to look like a cave roof with lots of tiny stalactite formations surrounded by sparkling twinkle lights. The lights move from blue to green to red to yellow. Gorgeous and mesmerizing. There are several zero gravity lounge chairs to choose from including some couple chairs if you come with a significant other. Each chair is padded with a cozy blanket type cover and there are light, super soft blankets on each chair if you get chilled. The room was a comfortable temperature. They tell you to wear comfortable clothes. Other than the twinkle lights there are several salt lamps placed in cave nooks throughout the room and the cave wall is backlit. It's very peaceful and comforting. The ceiling is not so low as to be claustrophobic. Most any adult can walk upright inside. An attendant comes in and explains the basis of the salt therapy and what to expect. Each participant received two salt balls that were heated and could be held in your hands or placed behind your neck. I put one under a sore knee that had been bothering me. The door is closed and New Age relaxation music is piped in. You can hear the salt ionizer cycling but it is a soft sound. We were instructed to breathe deeply to get the best results. The salt ions are invisible. You can't see or feel them. There is no talking in the cave. 45 minutes later the attendant returns to let you out. Exit prior to that time for emergency only please. Water is provided and the woman at the desk talks with you about the experience. They offer package rates and private booth treatments. You can book the room for a private session with enough people. They seemed pretty busy as a group was there when we arrived and another was waiting as we left. I definitely recommend the experience. Good for respiratory and skin issues. I had a scratchy throat for about a week prior and it was clear the next day. read more
