I agree with the other reviewers the customer service is nonexistent in this place! The dude helping us got irritated because their debit card reader was down. He slammed my card down on the counter. They He was being weird about taking the cash from the person with me. He was like the machine is down go run to an atm mind you we had cash, just wanted 2 not use it all! This new system with this kiosk and "walk in" is so dumb. I literally just wanted a battery none of them were listed online and I told them that. However I still couldn't buy it without placing the order online. I waited 10 minutes just for people to keep coming in so I was never called in the "walk in" line. First time ever going to this shop this past Sunday because of a deal for a strain I've been wanting to try. One of the workers at the counter was assisting another worker while on the clock to make a purchase after telling me to wait before they both proceeded to the back and then the original worker walked past me to have a chat with his coworkers leaving the poor woman at the counter to take care of me and 4 people in line. I also picked up premium flower and today after going through the only good flower on top, saw the rest is literally smalls/popcorn with some of them being the size of my pinky nail. Horrible customer service and honestly the worst quality of flower I've gotten from any dispensary out here in the burbs. read more

The instore staff are very nice and Helpful, I recently purchased some packages of pre rolls that were packed so tight they were unsmokeable. When reaching out to customer service a gentleman Alex helped me out and was understanding of my situation, I felt as if he was genuinely concerned for my experience. He was able to get me a credit on my account to return and purchase operational prerolls. Overall very good experience. This was going to be my first time here since I recently moved to the area. I rode my bike there to look around and make some purchases. There is no bike rack outside the shop and I tried to take my bike into the waiting area, but not into the main shop area. The 2 people at the front desk told me that I couldn't take my bike inside. When I told them that there wasn't a rack outside for me to lock up my bike and asked if I could leave my bike in the waiting area while I make my purchase, one of the people at the front desk was a condescending a**hole, so I left. Looking at the other reviews, customer service seems to be an issue with this location. read more

1st time shopper for ZenLeaf & I will NEVER return. As a disabled veteran, this location refused to accept my DoD identification showing I'm a disabled veteran. Then when I spoke with the manager, she had a horrible attitude & came out barking her policy with no intention of listening to anything I was attempting to show her. First time in my 11 years of being a disabled veteran that a business refused to accept my U.S. Army Retired Official Department of Defense identification as proof. The Aurora, Illinois location is really lacking in customer service and management. There website site stated there was 15% off discount On a particular product. As such they should have adjusted there cash out system. I noticed on my receipt that I had paid more. I asked for a manger. Two guys came out and said we can't do anything. They admitted that I was wrung up incorrectly. They offered a $5 off coupon off $50. I never spend $50 dollars. Nick B. said he was there everyday and would honor this no matter what I spent. You should have refunded the difference called corporate and fixed the problem. I feel they are lazy and to stoned to do the right thing. I had asked if there was a veterans discount and was told yes. Once I showed my DOD ID I was denied the discount even though that ID showed proof that I was a veteran. They told me I needed to submit paperwork instead and this is the first time it's ever happened to me even though I've gone to multiple dispensaries before. Won't be visiting this location anymore especially if they're trying to make a profit off me. Plus the guy checking me out didn't have someone else double check that he put the right items in the bag...isn't that their policy to ensure the customer gets the right products? Not a good store. I can't believe the negative reviews for this location! I've been going to this location at least once a month, probably more, for around a year I would guess and have ever had a negative experience. I often just place an online order and hop in the express lane and always am met with great customer service even when I want to slightly change my order. My husband and I were in here last night looking for a solution to my sleeplessness. We usually go to the Zen Leaf in Naperville, which we love, but thought that we would give Aurora a shot cuz we were shopping right next to it. The cashier named Jory (the name was on her receipt printer) was literally the biggest know-it-all bitch we've ever encountered in our lives. Every question we had was met with so much attitude and negativity, it was almost unbelievable, but definitely extremely uncomfortable. She was such the antithesis of good, helpful customer service that, at best, she should be working security at Zen Leaf, or working with product by herself in a back room, and should in NO WAY be interacting with customers. We will never be back to this location as long as Satan's spawn is in there. Upper management at Zen Leaf should absolutely monitor this representative. She is as toxic as they come. read more
