Wost mani pedi ever. I brought in a group of 7 for a bridal party. Mind you, I'm paying very close to $400. The staff was rude, particulary a girl named Carla, we were rushed (my mani was very half assed because my girl was rushing to get home), the bride had a gel mani scheduled and then was told she couldn't get it done because there was no time...horrible. This place os a rip off, overpriced, terrible service and rude staff. Go elsewhere, anywhere. You'll get better service. read more

It was horrible... the nail techs need more training on both nail art (French manicure) and sanitation (properly washing and using nail tools). I went in with a friend to get our nails done prior to going to a conference and We decided to get French manicures. She asked for square nail filing and thin line. I asked for square nail filing and thick. Let's just say each finger looks different, the lining of the white differs in thickness, the filing of my nail was round, and minimal nail polish was utilized (one coat). By far...the worst massage I have ever had. And it wasn't cheap. Wasted close to $400 for 2 massages, 2 manicures and the use of a musty sauna. Very nice ambiance at Zen Spa. My mother booked a massage and my sister (13 y/o) and I booked a "couples" hot stone massage. Confirmed with multiple phone conversations never once was it mentioned my little sister couldn't have a hot stone massage. This information was given to us after we checked in. We were taken back to the area for changing and lockers, which was very nice as was the relaxation area. Then when we were called back to our massages they had the my mom and sister in the couples room on accident. Once that was resolved they forgot mine was still a hot stone so relaxation massage I got instead. I kept thinking when does the hot stone part happen...never I guess. The relaxation massage was good. My mother was very happy with her services. So overall very relaxing, nice facilities but very disorganized. read more

Was so looking forward to a massage. I doubt the gal that gave my husband and then me a massage was licensed massage therapist. My husband thought he had gotten a good masseuse when she went over his IT band on his left leg, then realized she had just gotten lucky, as the other side of the body was completely different then the other side. It was almost as if she had forgotten what to do. Basically rubbed oil on. I am still disappointed. Terrible. read more

The absolute worst experience I've ever had they sent us a text message with the location which gave us the wrong address 30 minutes away from where we were so that cut into one of our friends Massage and they still made us pay $85 for 20 minutes they said that a foot massage was added on but my feet weren't massages this place has got to be the worst I've ever done business with... when I was trying to explain it to the lady that works there she was not even paying attention to what I was trying to say because she really could care less and that was very unprofessional and rude! I really do not recommend this place to anyone when visiting Puerto Rico because if you want my money value me as a customer and I did not feel like I was being heard or accommodated because of the mishap on their end so anyone planning to get a massage from this please do not click on the link that they send you in the text message for the directions look them up on your own so that you don't be inconvenienced and have your money taken from you for a half assed massage their massages are not worth the $85! I seriously believe that they send you the link in the text message so that you can come to the wrong location and have your time cut into! read more

I actually enjoyed my swedish massage here. The guy made me feel comfortable and his massage put me in a state of total relaxation. i was in and out of sleep. My 2 other friends really liked their massages too. IT was 80$ well spent. read more

I had a pedicure and a swedish massage at Zen. I ended up having to re-do my pedicure since the girl cut my toenails at an angle. The massage was the worst massage I had ever received. The massage consisted of oil being rubbed on my body for about 20 minutes and the remainder of the time the girl stood at the top of the massage table and proceeded to push her fingers into my scalp- attempting to give a scalp massage. Scalp massages are one of my favorite parts of the massage but this wasn't anything close to it. She had no idea what she was doing and had no knowledge of muscle structure. I did call this place back a month later after reading all these reviews and re-iterated what my experience was like. The spa did give me a tiny discount (20%) but that was it. I would NOT recommend this spa. read more

Worst spa experience, if you even want to call it that since no service ended up happening. First I arrived and the told me they had been "calling me" ( although I had no missed call or messages from them) to tell me the person that was going to provide the pedicure called in sick. I still also had an appointment for a massage and so they offered to reschedule the pedicure and let me use the pool as I waited. After offering to accommodate the service later the lady took my information and disappeared and left me waiting in the front only to come back later and even forget that I was there. Then she asked a different woman to check me in. I once again had to repeat everything to the other woman about what had happened with my massage and reservation. When doing the tour of the areas they adviced that the steam room was closed being repaired, yet something else that I was looking forward to not happening. Trying not to be annoyed I went to the pool to 20 mins in receive a call from the spa that the massage was going to be delay and I could stay longer in the pool if I wanted to. Trying to be understanding I stayed in the pool and waited for a while and then went downstairs to wait in the spa which was more quiet. 15 minutes later after they had told me the massage was supposed to start I was still waiting for someone to come get me. At that point I just got up and got dressed and asked for a full reimbursement for the entire amount I paid to get no service. As I was doing this miraculously the masseuse showed up. At that point I had It. They didn't offer anything to redeem to make up for just the awful experience but gave me my money back. read more

I got a massage and a pedicure today at the Condado location. The atmosphere of Zen Spa is amazing and you can't go wrong with a massage. The problem came when I went to get a pedicure. The employees were slacking off. A hot towel was put on my legs, but then the employee left me and the wet towel on my legs for 5 minutes, or however long it takes for your feet to start feeling like they're gonna fall off. If I wanted to have a mediocre pedicure episode, I would've just gone to the mall. I felt better when I was discussing my lackluster experience with another customer who also shared my views on the pedicure. Definitely will not come back. read more

Wish I would have looked up reviews from others before me and my friends went. I get massages once a month and this was just about the worst massage I ever had. They told us to come at 2:30 to get ready and sit in the sauna. The sauna was not even offered to us. We got into robes and sat for 20 minutes while "therapists" buzzed around not saying a word to us. Our appointment was set for 3, but we didn't start at 3. At 3:05 a therapist came to get me, didn't speak good English and where I wanted a deep tissue massage and she thought I wanted a Swedish, because she didn't understand what I was asking for, she brought me to the front desk to get an interpretation on what I was asking for. Needless to say, I was no longer relaxed, and was quite annoyed at this point. It was a very "un-zen" like experience to this point. My massage was not great and I am not confident that these massage "therapists" were even licensed massage therapists. My regulars adage therapist is fantastic... I run long distances and she works my calf muscles real good along with any other aches and pains. These people at Zen were rude, unprofessional, unskilled, etc. No one even asked afterward if the experience was good. The just took our money! Do not waste your time. It is just a shame that la concha renaissance resort gave this place as a recommendation. They should rethink that to not irritate their guests. read more

Worst spa I've ever been to. First off they did not tell me that I was unable to do the hot stone massage until I got there, even though they were well aware of my age and we had called 3 times at least. Secondly the staff was very rude, acting as if doing their jobs was too hard. Third, my masseuse was an older woman, who was very rough and not accommodating. Her massage was extremely rough and painful, and left bruises afterwards. Fourth, they confused my sister and her mother giving them the wrong massages. When we told them this, they did not care or even apologize. Only rolled their eyes. Offered no compensation or apologies. The entire zen spa was horrible. Had a manicure and massage, the girl who did the manicure painted my cuticles. Not quality, it was rushed, no hand massage, nada. In fact, I went to buy nail polish remover from Walgreen's to fix the polishing of my cuticles :( The massage was also terrible. I agree with the above review that the young ladies are likely not certified. There is a nail shop down the block from this place with Essie polish and a cool coffee bar, probably better to go there! I had a full body scrub at this spa and it was pretty good. The staff was very friendly. There are areas of the spa that need updating (steam room, men's locker room). All in all I'd go back if I were in the area but I'd probably seek out a new experience for a better comparison next time. read more

Bad communication and unclear charges to be so expensive. Firstly, you can gain a 20% off discount if you are a Casino member. However my problem is that the staff can not clearly disclose all details before booking. I booked a $275 day spa and was promised 20% off of my bill. The staff instead charged me separately for every item and took 20% off individually. Hence changing me $30 more then they should've. If there is a policy in which this should occur, it should be mentioned at the time of booking and posted on the wall for full disclosure. I am not only dissatisfied with the Spa, but I will not recommend to anyone I know or encounter in the hotel. The staff especially the woman who was in charge at the time of the dispute, did not resolve any issue or become flexible to meet the needs of the customer. Never again. BEWARE when spending your money at an establishment such as this. read more

The staff at Zen Spa were very kind and professional. They even accommodated a last minute addition to the bridal party hair appointment. The site is very clean and relaxing. Our two stylists were wonderful. Enid and Catherine did beautiful work on the mother of the bride, matron of honor and two bridesmaids hair styles for the wedding.
