I sit there and wait. 12:40, the Manicurist walks back into Anam Nail Spa. She walks right by me carrying her lunch. (I am the only customer.) She takes out her lunch and drink and starts eating, as I'm watching and waiting. 12:45. I walk back up to the bar and mention that my appointment was for 12:30 and my Manicurist-to-be just started eating her lunch. She said, Yes, she shouldn't take too long, then she'll be with you. W H A T ????? HOW RUDE!! SUCH HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm ready to pay someone $100 or more and she on purposely leaves to get her lunch and then proceeds to eat while I am waiting. No. No. No. No. Since Anam thinks this is how to treat their customers, they should be in another business. Never again! Peace!

Rather than provide the service or offer a solution, she sat down, argued, and shifted all the blame onto me. When I asked if she would truly rather sit there for two hours doing nothing than honor a scheduled appointment, she confirmed--yes--and continued to deflect responsibility. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional, it's deeply disrespectful. I had used her service once before and had already sensed something was off. This experience confirmed it. The energy was hostile, the customer care nonexistent, and the accountability zero. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. If professionalism and basic courtesy matter to you, look elsewhere.

My therapist was absolutely amazing and I felt so comfortable with her. The hammam treatment happens in a stunningly tiled room. The history of hammam is explained, which I loved. My therapist explained the treatment protocol and that put me at ease. Once the treatment started, I never wanted it to end. It was so interesting and very relaxing. I left with softest skin imaginable. The Spa at Condado Vanderbilt is wonderful. This was an early anniversary trip and they gave us a lovely surprise, even though my partner opted not to partake in a spa service (now a regret of his). The spa was so calm and relaxing and they have the best staff. I loved every second of my experience here, and not only am I planning to go return, we are planning to stay at the Vanderbilt (which we should have done this trip).

They didn't properly explain the process or what she was supposed to do. They simply told her to go into the sauna, without any further instruction. Upon entering, she realized that the saunas weren't separated for men and women. While she was in her swimsuit, a man entered wearing only a towel. This made her feel extremely uncomfortable. The man even started talking to her, when all she wanted was to relax and meditate. Because of the discomfort, she decided to leave the sauna before 10 minutes had passed. Then she went to the showers, where she again encountered a complete lack of privacy: open and uncontrolled doors, making it possible for anyone to see her while she showered. She couldn't relax or feel safe. She had to shower in her swimsuit for safety. The facial itself was performed, but the entire experience was already compromised. At the end, upon seeing the alcoholic beverages, she asked if they were included and was told they were. However, she was never offered the glass of champagne that was specifically included in the package and was one of the reasons she purchased this combo. Overall, the service was cold and disorganized. No one guided her, no one attended to her with care or made her feel pampered. It was as if she had to figure things out on her own, instead of receiving personalized attention. For almost $300, the experience was completely unsatisfactory. It did not live up to its promises or the level of quality and privacy expected of a place like this. I would not recommend it.

There was 1 cleanse, 1 mask, and, at most, a 1 minute face massage to incorporate products into my skin. While letting the mask dry there was a foot massage, but it was very uneven. The esthetician spend 3-4 minutes on one foot and maybe 1 minute for the other. The cost was not worth the experience. I would return for the massage only.
