I give 5 stars to Woodhaven Lumber in the Lakewood, NJ location because this is where I dealt with…read morefor obtaining 3 Andersen patio doors to be replaced. My transaction was handled by a Dave Barrett for arranging the appointment needed to measure sizes, type of doors, placing the order, etc. which was completed in a very timely manner. Upon Woodhaven's receipt of the doors from the Andersen Company I was notified and allowed to pick up the doors before the installation date so that I would be able to put a polyurethane finish on them which is a GREAT convenience. On the installation date Woodhaven sent two installers I believe were named John and Bill who called before coming to keep me informed and showed up exactly the time that they said they would. These two guys worked amazingly in sync (like an Olympic event!) which made this job go very smoothly and in a shorter amount of time than I thought it would take. These guys were both personable, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, worked so neatly..... and..... left the work area cleaner than before they came!! The doors look and work great too, no problems encountered! I have to say I am very impressed with the overall service that I received from Woodhaven in Lakewood and I would like to thank Dave Barrett from the start and John and Bill to the finish. I purchased Anderson 400 wood windows for replacement my home is 16 years old. They first messed…read moreup my quote by missing the labor. I let that go. They then sent 1 guy to replace my whole house of windows. He didn't install the screens. He left my house a mess with so much sawdust throughout my home inside and out my gutters were clogged and I still have remnants inside. He installed them wrong every window is twisted not flat not making a seal so I have gaps causing draft, noise and I get smoke from outside neighbors coming in. They came several times and claimed manufacturer defaults and ordered new sashes, they were bringing the manufacturer to review the installation, they said originally they blamed the person messing up that it took a months to get someone out because they took the call in as wrong. The only people that came out were the original sales and installation people Bill McDermott and the guy Brain that installed the windows. The owner told me he would refund my money $28k about and never heard from him again. I said so I am left with windows that I have towels underneath now. I am out in a bad situation. This money was money left to me from my dad that passed and nothing. They stalled me until the warrantee and BBB complaint couldn't be filed. These people are not stand up business people owners. They are not ethical what so ever. I don't know how they sleep at night. This was my experience and nightmare and be ripped out and having left with a house of almost $30k of useless windows that need replacing after going on 2 years of trying to have them to the right thing and being scammed!
