The rooms still need a little work when it comes to the sofa beds. I really appreciate that there's a floor dedicated to my dog friends; I don't have one myself, but they're my friends anyway. Just one comment about the bathroom sink: the drain was completely clogged--as if it hadn't been cleared for months--and it was disgusting. Luckily, Kelly was kind enough to take care of the situation right away. See you next year.

All of the common areas, including the two tiny guest elevators were consistently full of dogs. The hallways, the deck with the fire pits, sports court and game area, the parking lot, the lawn- all full of dogs. Perhaps great for dog owners, not so great for those of us with allergies or if you just don't stay at hotels to share space with dogs. Two- Our supposed "non-pet friendly" room was shoddy (see photos) with dirty carpet, a huge water damage stain on the ceiling and an accompaniment of fleas. You cannot allow pets throughout the property and expect to keep fleas and ticks contained in certain rooms. There was a tiny walk-in shower (photos) with only one glass panel. I understand that some large walk-in showers do not have door(s). But this one is far too small for that. No door to close on this just meant lots of water on the bathroom floor. Three- the staff was rude. Enough has been said here in other reviews about the bad behavior of the staff, so I feel no need to add another nasty story. Four- Silo, the on site restaurant was booked solid with groups that were not even staying at the hotel. The restaurant staff would not seat us, because the tables were all reserved. We were also told that this meant no in-room service. We and the other guests of the hotel waiting in line were told that we would have to go elsewhere or call some establishment that will deliver. I would only recommend this place to people who lie down with dogs. It's Motel 6 with a view.

While our group of 10 were in line the staff person using a small phone was checking us in & could not find our reservation even though it was stated clearly. I'm here for work but during the downtime I want to do something fun and doing a Segway tour was something I've never done before. The training before hand was absolutely necessary and beneficial. No skimping on this tour, they took care of all of us from start to finish. I am the proud owner of my Segway license! If you're in Duluth this is the thing to do. You can bet every person we passed along the way was a little envious.

Says it can fit 7 (depending on size and weight), but I'd rather not share with more than one other couple. Neither of us had ever been in a sea plane before...pretty cool how easy it took off and how smooth the landing was despite a little chop on the bay. Next time I think we would bring a picnic and games for the park, maybe a suit for the beach. Seemed like the best beach in the area with respect to the sand, view and secluded nature.

The take-off and landing was super smooth and the plane was comfortable for me, my wife, 9 yr old and 3 yr old. The trip lasted for almost 45 mins and John took us through many area of Duluth and Superior. He shared details about every area, rich history and how it is today. The best part we liked about him is his liver to serve the customer. He was always looking to find an opportunity that will make the tour more memorable. He saw that a ship was going to the bridge and he timed it properly to ensure we can see and take as many pictures of the ship crossing the bridge from true 360.

I spent about an hour here taking a nap. It's quite despite being near the roadway and only one other car came and went while I was here. Overnight parking is not permitted but I can't imagine they will chase you back onto the road if you're truly tired. There is a small walkway with stairs that leads down to the riverside.
