I can't say enough good things about Yasmeen! When I first reached out, I was overwhelmed and discouraged trying to manage my goldendoodle's behavior. He was highly anxious, insecure, reactive, and at times even aggressive -- and I didn't know how to help him. From our very first interaction, Yasmeen was supportive, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. During our sessions, she took the time to explain why my dog was behaving the way he was, which helped me not just follow her guidance, but truly understand it. She broke things down in a way that made it all feel manageable, even when things felt tough. What really stood out to me was how available and responsive she was in between sessions. Anytime I had a question, concern, or setback, she was there with calm, clear, and helpful advice. I never felt alone in the process. Thanks to her guidance, my dog has made huge strides. He no longer pulls on the leash during walks, and if I sense him starting to react to things like skateboarders or bikers, I can easily reorient him and help him stay calm. He's more confident, more manageable, and most importantly -- happier. I feel empowered and informed as a dog owner now, and that's all because of the care and commitment Yasmeen brought to every session. If you're struggling with a reactive or anxious dog, I truly cannot recommend her enough. She changed our lives!

Total change in our dog Rita. We reached out to Zenni dogs because we really have been having so many issues with our chihuahua Rita. She is like a completely different dog after training with Yasmeen from Zenni dogs. Rita was aggressive on the leash and I would normally have to cross the street if anyone else walks walking towards us. She now ignores it and continues on the walk and is even willing to pack walk with dogs she has never met. This has been truly an amazing change and I can see it in Rita. She's not so anxious she enjoys the walks more. She has made so much progress. Yasmeen gave us the knowledge and inspiration to make us the pack leaders that our dogs needed. We are thankful that she drove from Long Beach to our home in Orange County to work with us. Zenni Dogs and Yasmeen just absolutely exceeded my every expectations. Both my wife and I recently added another family pupper to our pack, his name - Kevin. He is a rescue, and as they do, came with some unknown baggage. The sweetest boy - but definitely needed to work out some of his issues. Enter Zenni Dogs. They analyzed the patterns, habits and behaviors that no regular person could have noticed - until she revealed them to me. It almost became this therapeutic routine and eventual connection with a month of work (three sessions total) between my dogs and I. My golden retriever Wilson was always in an excitable state and wasn't able to meet and greet dogs and people in a healthy way. He would get so excited and completely lose control of himself. He would body slam and jump on dogs and people and would knock everything over in his path. Yasmeen is an amazing trainer and very knowledgeable! We have two male Manchester Terriers (ages 6-7), and had been trying to troubleshoot a few of their "quirks", without any progress. We read different literature and had implemented various techniques on our own, on how to handle their behavior issues, but we were never successful. We finally decided to seek the guidance and help of a behavioral specialist. Luckily for us and our boys, I found Yasmeen Zenni! A few of the issues that we had been having with our two dogs were interdog aggression (which was escalating), leash aggression and barking at other dogs while on walks, excessive barking at new people that would come over to our house, anxiety, and marking in the house. We have completed 4 sessions with Yasmeen and have truly learned so much information and techniques on how to properly handle and provide our dogs with clear instruction and communication. I appreciate how passionate and educated Yasmeen is with dogs. She was able to provide us with great insight into a dogs psyche and what they are looking for from us. Then we were taught how to implement this understanding with our dogs and actually give them what they need from us. Basically my husband and I needed to be taught how to appropriately interact with our dogs using body language and communication that they would understand. We have seen such a positive transformation in our boys in just 4 sessions; as well as ourselves, and feeling more confident and capable of knowing how to handle their behavioral issues. We worked on numerous things with Yasmeen and our dogs; long lead line training, walks in the neighborhood, front door aggression/ barking with new people, crate training (I learned as to why it so beneficial for dogs), which has been helping with my dogs anxiety, building trust, and our last session was a training day at a new park. This day was particularly awesome because we were able to really see how far our boys had come. They weren't reacting with other dogs, they were following us for instruction, and we even did a pack walk for a bit at the end! I was blown away that our dogs were so good and walking with other dogs, without any barking or aggression. It was so great to see them in a calmer, more relaxed state, as they should be. I wish I would have found Yasmeen sooner! My husband and I both highly recommend seeking her services for your dog's needs and training. She is a great teacher who is very kind, patient, and experienced. She was easy to talk and set-up appointments with; as well as provides phone follow-up sessions. If you are reading this review, then you must be looking for help with your dog. You will NOT be disappointed with Zenni Dogs and will be so thankful that you found help for you and your dog.

My pup Tommy is a 2 year old German shepherd/ pitbull rescue and is fearful/ anxious a lot of the times. In the past he had bad experiences with dogs and humans, so I'm also somewhat traumatized and get tense when others approach. Words can not describe how grateful I am to Yasmeen. I reached out to her in September desperate because my 6 month old puppy was showing signs of aggression & resource guarding. Unfortunately, she was bitten more than once in her young age, so I wanted to do whatever I could to remedy this now before it worsened. In the initial phone conversation she reassured me that that problems I'm having now can definitely be fixed. I just finished my last session today with her, and I could not be happier. I cannot express how much I appreciate Yasmeen's clear directions, explanations, and guidance. It doesn't seem to matter what your dog's background is, she will help you build a strong connection with your dog. My boy has what she described as prey reactivity and that stems from never having had boundaries or direction. The transformation I was able to witness is mind blowing and worth it. Let me start by saying a sincere and warm thank you. We have had Yasmeen as Marley's trainer/sitter for the greater part of 2 years. Our son loves her. When we go on holiday, he stays at her home and loves the company! He's never been great with most dogs, so to see him in a pack of both large and small is zany. I love it and am happy that he gets to be social and receive ample exercise and training while in her company. I've had one other trainer and a few dog walkers and Yasmeen is by far the most capable and knowledgable person that I've entrusted our lil guy with. Yasmeen has been helping us with our Australian Shepherd puppy, Atlas, since she was 2 months old! Atlas is now 7 months and so much calmer now. Yasmeen has guided us through understanding what dog psychology entails and how to better understand our pup through her behaviors. Before we started training with Yasmeen, Atlas would chew on couches, bark at every moving thing, bite the leash on walks and just completely leave us feeling tired and invisible. Now, Atlas is much more responsive to our commands, still barks but we can get her to stop, and LOVES her walks. I found Yasmeen through Instagram and I am SO happy I did! After countless in person training along with in boarding training I decided my pup Lulu and I needed one on one personal training that was not in classroom. Yasmeen helped us with our 3.5 year old Yorkipoo Frida, who we adopted during the pandemic. She struggled with leash aggression. She barked and lunged towards every dog she saw. We would cross the street just to avoid other people and their dogs. It was really frustrating. Yasmeen has really taught us how to approach those situations with more confidence and calmness. We have seen improvements in her behavior since our sessions. Hopefully, by being consistent and persistent with our training, she is able to be a happy and calmer dog. Yasmeen was doing a pack walk in our neighborhood when we first met her. The dogs were behaving so well that we had to go get her card. We've had several lessons with her and our pup Zion. Zion now goes on weekly pack walk with her and he loves it. She will always gives tips and show you how to do things with your dog when she notices something you aren't doing correctly. We are moving out of state and she will be missed by Zion and us. We recommend her 100%! read more

Thank you Yasmeen! I learned so much about my dog and what she needs from me as her owner to make her a better and happier dog. My dog was pulling me so much with the leash and has a hard time listening when we are outside so to not only have a solution to walking my dog but to have Yasmeen teach me about the psychology of it and how to communicate with my dog best to understand her and her respect me. AMAZING!!! I cannot rave enough about Yasmeen. She has helped us bring calmness to our home. Before Yasmeen and the skills she taught us, my husband and I would get so sad to see our rescue dog be so amped up and anxious. Often this would manifest as our fur baby attacking others and nipping at people's feet's. We were thankful that when that would happen, people would focus on how cute he is and would think they were love nips. My husband and I knew otherwise. We noticed that our rescue dog was just getting more anxious and on-guard as the years passed. Nighttime routine would often consist of our dog attacking my husband and often biting him during his episodes. We tried our best with the information we found online and tips our dog friends shared with us in order to help our dog but they didn't seem to work. Then we got another dog and things appeared to continue the same path as before. We also found ourselves with a new issue: the puppy was beginning to exhibit anxious and avoidant behaviors when our rescue would get amped up. So now we were faced with two dogs with anxiety who presented it in two different ways. I found Yasmeen on yelp and saw the incredible reviews written by my fellow yelpers. I immediately called her and scheduled an in-home session with her. My husband and I were excited to finally get a professional who makes house visits into our home to help us out. We were so excited when the first session arrived. Yasmeen assesses the situation and had a game plan in place within the first 30 minutes. She then educated us on doggie psychology and demonstrated some key skills to help with creating a more harmonious environment for us and our two doggies. We practiced them and noticed our doggies responding positively to them. Yasmeen took the time to explain what was taking place to help us understand how our behaviors impact our doggies' behaviors. Our session ended with us feeling hopeful. We have since had two additional sessions which have all been incredible and informative. We also made the recommended changes to our routine in order to create structure for our doggies and brings more harmony to the household. The bedtime routine is now a pleasant experience since bring in the separate crates in a different room. I was initially hesitant about the crating because I saw it as doggie jail. Yasmeen helped to show me that dogs see the crate differently; it's viewed more as a safe haven than doggie jail. Since seeing the changes to our household and in our doggies' behaviors, I am sold on the crating practice. It's just so nice to see harmony in our household where it was once not present. Thank you, Yasmeen, for helping us bring this harmony into our home!!! P.S. If you couldn't tell by my long review, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Yasmeen!!! She is incredible and so good with dogs. read more

Oh why oh why did I wait so long to get my rescue dog trained? After she knocked me over 5 times crossing in front of me, cracked 3 teeth and sprained my arm did I decide I needed professional help. My rescue dog, Ginger showed aggression towards other dogs when walking as well as crossing in front of me on our walks. Knowing how to let my dog know I had her back around other dogs and where I want her to walk on the lead seems simple. But, knowing how to communicate these actions to my dog is where I needed help. I am so happy that I found Yasmeen. She helped me to project confidence and understand what my dog needed from me. She has a calming way that communicates confidence. I don't know where to start. Yasmeen was not only patient with our dog but the two adults she had to work with, which could be a bigger challenge then the dog at times. I just finished my second session with Yasmeen, she has changed my 3 year old boxer/pit mix for the better. I was at my breaking point with this crazy pup and she showed me there was so much to learn about my fur baby. Yasmeen helped me with our 18 mos. old American bully which could be intimidating to others. My main concern was walking him without him almost dragging me.. (he is very strong). She helped me take over and be the boss. After three sessions our walks are more relaxing and chill for him and I. I would definitely recommend her. Just yelped Dog Trainers around long beach and we found Yasmeen with the highest ratings, so we went with her. At the time we reached out we were so desperately in need of help with our rescued girl Rey. We rescued Rey from Russia and all the transportations and bouncing between fosters really messed her up. Before Yasmeen "rescued" us, this was how I said about Rey to my partner (co-parent of Rey) and how frustrated I was: Rey has EVERYTHING you DO NOT want in a dog. She pulls on leash like crazy, she barks at every random thing, she jumps on us, she is scared of all people other than us, she lunges at every little moving thing... Yasmeen came in on a Wednesday afternoon, and of course, Rey went crazy and we could hardly control this 33-pound petite monster. Then calmly and firmly Yasmeen gave us 2 instructions, and the miracle happened: Rey sat down and was totally under our control for the rest of the session! We followed through her process and practice the things she told us about every day the following week. We could literally feel the improvement day by day - it was construction week at our apartment, and she barely cared at all, just resting in her crate calmly most of the time. Frustrations still happen time to time, but I can see we are moving in the right direction. We just finished our 2nd session with Yasmeen, and we feel empowered and more comfortable with our relationship with Rey. She is becoming more controllable and calmer (she is still a back-of-pack kinda dog tho, and we do not expect her to change her personality). But do remember that Yasmeen could only help so much, the rest will be your hard work! read more

We chose this trainer based on Yelp's rating but it seems the ratings are skewed and there are plenty of dissatisfied customers whose reviews you cannot see due to Yelp's algorithms. We lost our deposit of $225 because the trainer was unable to make the initial promised time and was unwilling to return our deposit when we moved on to another trainer who was certified. We contacted Yasmeen in June and spoke to their assistant who promised us an August training session. We were pressured to make a deposit within 24 hours of speaking to them. We were in a desperate situation and agreed to pay the $450 per two session. That was a mistake. After the trainer's assistant quit the trainer calls us and tells us (rudely) they are longer able to honor the time set for our August session by their assistant. She also took up time and space scapegoating their assistant and telling us all the details of their drama. They also tried to tack on an extra fee for travel which I rejected because we had already agreed on a price with their assistant. When the assistant quit, we had to delay the training session another two months due to the trainer's lack of availability. Out dog's issues were urgent and we needed to solve them sooner than 5 months out from when we initially reached out. Going through Yelp was our mistake and our own stupidity. Please do your research and do not rely on this app. There are much better trainers out there who are both good with dogs and people. Find a certified behaviorist and hopefully someone who can provide more courtesy. read more

I was really desperate to help my dog with her behavior. I rescued her over a year ago and two months into it, she started barking and lunging at other dogs. I was sure it was something I was doing wrong and it kept getting worse. I've done training in the past but it didn't help as much as it did with Yasmeen. She was totally accurate about everything. From how I was being with my dog emotionally to me thinking she would protect me. In reality, she made a great point that our dog is just looking for some guidance and direction. I can already see some changes with my dog and I'm enjoying our walks together. I loved the training with Yasmeen and Kari and I can't wait to do our next follow up and pack walk! So I found Yazmeen on Yelp over a month ago when I had enough of not dealing with my 2 year old Male pugs behaviors that were causing some big issues at home. What got me to realize how bad he needed training was when he bit a girls hand at a corporate pet hotel as he was being checked out. The bite was no severe but did bruise a little and for that pancho was now banned from any future stays at this boarding and doggie day care. I knew then I had to take the first step in realizing that I had the fault for not addressing the issues because I was not wanting to put in the work. So I called her and left her a message and got a response right away I explained my issues and with just reading her response I knew she would be a great fit for my needs and poncho's. Now keep in mind I told myself that if I was going to spend time and money on his training that I would make sure to follow through because in everything I read following through is the big key to understanding your pets needs. Now I am a mom of three human children who live and are being schooled at home, a full time business owner. So I knew this was going to be a commitment and I felt ready because I love my pug like I love my children and I felt so hurt knowing that he bit and was kicked out of his doggie day care and boarding. Needles to say she made it so easy comfortable for me and the kids on our first session we learned so much. About why he was out of control for the simple fact that he had no guidance house was his home and he was in controlled because we all baby him and like a dog in a dog pack he was our alpha. So she helped us see how we could change so much Yazmeen has honestly been such a blessing to us as we are currently working on his fears and helping him become a better Doggie and family member. Recently had 2 hours session at a skate park and I left with the most confidence and smile since my pancho did so amazing not only facing his fear of skate boarders which we of course still have room to work on more with me following through but with her teaching me how to teach him to be free on a 15 ft leash and coming back to me with no fear of him going elsewhere. I contacted Yasmeen to help me with my dog Charlie who suffers from separation anxiety. She was straightforward and told me that I have to present calm and firm with what I am asking my dog to do. I know my dog could sense my hesitation and my feelings about putting him in the crate while I am away. After 3 sessions, my dog's anxiety behaviors are manageable. I just have to continue to be consistent to see the results I desire for my dog. I also have join Yasmeen's pack walks to help build my dog's confidence with other dogs. Overall, Yasmeen can teach you how to improve your dog's behaviors, but it's up to you to be consistent and practice with your dog to see optimal results. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Yasmeen! Met her several years ago when she started walking our rescue dog. China responded so well to her calm assertive energy... and then I believe she grew to love Yasmeen. I can (and have) recommended her as a trainer. Yasmeen is an amazing animal behavior specialist! One of my dogs has severe anxiety, Yasmeen is patient and understanding with our sensitive little guy. So far we have had two 2 hr sessions with Yasmeen. We have a 4 month old Labrador Retriever and we have learned so much. We are learning to communicate and lead our pup. It is a work in progress but we can see the results already. We feel more in control and approach things more calmly which in turn helps our puppy stay relaxed. read more

Have to give a shout out - I contacted this place registering one of my dogs and a very particular issue and concern I have with him. The owner was kind enough to reply back to me the next day stating that she didn't think she's be able to help me in the time frame that I need, but she agreed I do need to seek some help. She then went on to give me some tips as well! We have done 2 sessions with Yasmeen so far and she has been awesome! She is punctual, professional and most-of-all, a solid dog trainer. I met Yasmeen at our vet's office when my dog, (who has recently become reactive towards other dogs ever since she was attacked at a dog park) began to bark and bully Yasmeen's dog on our way out of the office. Yasmeen introduced herself and immediately gave me some techniques to help communicate more clearly with my dog. She brought tears to my eyes when she demonstrated how well the techniques actually work, as my dog followed her non-verbal commands with ease. I honestly wasn't sure if it was possible for her to understand someone so definitively, especially a stranger whom she'd never before had interactions. Scout, my pup, was so responsive right away, and Yasmeen made us both feel much more at ease. I decided after that, to hire Yasmeen formally, by booking a home visit and evaluation. Yasmeen's background in dog behavior is vast and she is a wonderful instructor for humans and canines alike. Her training style is very clear and easy to understand. Yasmeen has a natural gift, and it felt like magic at moments, to see how much her suggestions effected my own ability to communicate with my dog. I have already recommended Yasmeen's services to several friends and will continue to do so. If you're reading this review, you're probably struggling with something with your dog. Call Yasmeen. Do it. Seriously, she is a wealth of knowledge and can help you, no matter what the problem is - big or small. She will teach you why your dog(s) is/are responding the way they are, and give you the tools to fix it. She will be caring, patient, and communicative with you to help you fix the real issues, and not just treat the symptoms of them. Five stars all the way. We found Zenni dogs online. Yasmeen responded quickly with a phone call. Not having had any referrals we took a chance based on her demeanor on the phone, which was extremely professional and straight forward. We were worried that our dog may be hopelessly aggressive towards large dogs. By the 3rd session Yasmeen had him walking calmly in a pack with 5 other dogs! I was so moved by her ability to communicate calmly with all 3 of our dogs. She is one of the most dedicated trainers I've seen (And I've watched A LOT of YouTube videos!) She has trained us AND our dogs so now we can enjoy our neighborhood walks without worrying that our pup is going to bark at or attack another dog. Truly grateful. read more

Zenni dogs came recommended to me by a rescue group when I was in a crisis. It turns out the problem I thought I had was completely different from the problem I actually had and I would have been clueless had I not consulted her. Yasmeen has a great spirit, she knows what she is doing and she will give you the tools you need to help you get to where you want to be with your dogs. The only critique I have is that I wish she had like a mini written booklet or guide (I would even be willing to purchase this!). We had an amazing time working with her for the sessions. It was something we looked forward to, it never seemed like a chore, and by the second week even the dogs were excited about it. By the end of my first session she had my wild 60+ pound boys walking neatly in sync without any pulling, muss, or fuss and that alone was worth it to me. There is still more work to be done of course but now I feel much more well equipped to do what I need to be successful with my boys. I have attached a picture from session one for proof! read more

We had an amazing experience with Yasmeen! She is extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much. Our rescue dog has been living in an anxious state that we confused for happiness. I had been looking for a dog trainer for quite some time. I interviewed four dog training services and had the good fortune of selecting Yasmeen with Zenni Dogs. This was my good fortune. Miraculous, mind blowing and life-changing is how I would describe the results. Our dog, approximately three years old, was a rescue dog we adopted at six or eight weeks (I can't remember). I have always had difficulty on walks with him as he was highly reactive to other dogs on our twice daily walks. I had always known it had more to do with me as the dog owner and that I needed to learn the necessary steps, actions, behavior and psychology in order for our dog to succeed and this is exactly what occurred in working with Yasmeen. I can't communicate the extent of which I have been empowered to succeed, both personally (life changing), and for our dog. I feel that the intense successful training I received will last a lifetime. My mind has been blown by the results. In fact, on our last session I was brought to tears by observing a completely different dog! Established in 2018.

I started as a veterinary technician 17 years ago and within the first few years, I observed a significant amount of disconnect between humans and dogs. I became certified dog trainer during the time serving as a Vet. Tech and continued my education through many workshops by well known behaviorists and trainers. I retired from the veterinary world to pursue more experience and information about dog behavior in 2014 working for another training/dog-walking company for 4 years. in 2018 I established my own business and called it Zenni Dogs. I have been helping people and dogs connect for a long time and have been enjoying doing so more now under my own business.

A couple of these weren't terribly serious, but we felt we weren't "in charge" anymore, that our dog wasn't getting the message from whatever we were doing, and that if we didn't do something different, it could really get out of control. Brad really helped us with this, where traditional "training" wasn't working. We have two or three things we're working on with our girl, but here is the most dramatic change we had with one issue. She is very food motivated, and would beg from us at the table whenever we sat down to eat, and would be underfoot in the kitchen during prep. She got overly excited and would not settle and lie down. Brad explained we weren't communicating well with her on a dog level, so to get that communication kicked in to gear, he actually started our session not with this problem, but with making sure she would not dash out the front door when it was opened. This was to establish that we were in charge and what was expected of her. What he showed us how to do worked like you wouldn't believe. It was like a light bulb went off for our girl. What we did affected everything after that. It wasn't about dashing out the door, it wasn't about begging for food, it was about knowing what was acceptable in our pack and to look to us for direction. That night, at dinner, she went to her "spot" with a simple direction and was relaxed during our entire meal. She can now be directed to her spot and will stay quietly any time we need her to. Best of all, she seems truly relieved that she doesn't have to be in charge and that WE are. She is much more relaxed around so many other things. It gave us so much more confidence! I didn't think that what Brad taught us would work. It's quite counterintuitive. But trust me, it worked like magic. This is not dog training - it's communication with your dog. Brad answers all your questions, doesn't waste your time, shows you clearly and directly what will work. We're so thankful we found him!

Yasmeen has been a godsend for us and our dogs. We have two large dogs that had a history of getting into physical altercations with one another. Out of fear for their safety (and our peace of mind), we turned to Yasmeen after much deliberation about finding the "right" trainer for our situation. After just one session, we could already see the progress being made. Most importantly, Yasmeen gave US the tools to better understand and communicate with our dogs. Yasmeen has an innate ability to connect with dogs and the trust she builds with them (and with you as owners) is evident. I can't stress this enough, just book sessions with Yasmeen. My life and my dog's lives are so much better since starting training. I used to have to walk my dogs separately because one is anxious/reactive and the other is a wild, squirrel crazed, social butterfly and both would drag me down the street. Going on walks was miserable and frustrating. My curtains were being ripped out of the wall from them barking at people walking by, and I would come home to my mail shredded in a million pieces. Now I'm able to take both of them out together and people comment on how well behaved they are . It's taken a lot of guidance from Yasmeen (for me and the dogs), a lot of practice using the strategies that she's recommended (also for me and the dogs), and some self-reflection/awareness. It's definitely a work in progress, but it's been so much progress. I'm so grateful to be able to enjoy my dogs and my home. I'm so thankful to Yasmeen for her guidance and training. If there were 10 stars, Yasmeen would get it. My rescue has used her countless times for over six years. She has worked with many of our rescue dogs ranging from all sorts of behavioral issues. She has worked wonders with feral dogs who have never been handled to dogs who need better social skills and with aggressive dogs. Yasmeen has a gift with dogs, her energy is calm and patient and she is able to understand their issues and communicate with them effectively to help them and their people. We knew right away that our rescued 1-year-old Shepherd mix, Sadie, needed help. Having never been socialized, Sadie was fearful, reactive, and aggressive. Yasmeen has made an incredible difference in how we communicate with our rescue Doberman, Birdie. We had already invested lots of time and money in a board and train program for Birdie, but we made incredible strides after just a few sessions with Yasmeen. I wish I could give Yasmeen more than 5 stars. I was struggling and frustrated with my Golden Doodle/Aussie Doodle puppy. Yasmeen have me the tools and knowledge to learn how to work with a dog that is highly reactive and excitable. In our last session, she very quickly got my dog that was pulling, jumping, and barking at a neighbors dog behind a fence to having me walk my dog back and forth in front of the fence calmly while I held the leash with one hand. It felt like a miracle. I highly recommend her methods and ways of training. It is an on going process but her techniques and teachings have made a huge improvement in me to be able to effectively communicate to get the desired behavior I want in my dog. read more

I was having a problem getting my two dogs to walk at my pace and to calmly pass other dogs we met along the way. I was recommended by a friend to call Zenni Dogs, and Yasmeen helped me to understand what I was doing that was keeping my dogs from following rather than trying to lead me. I had no idea just what I was getting into and just how much work (trouble) huskies are. Karin was honest from the get go and let me know huskies are game changers. Without proper structure and exercise they will destroy the house. I hired Karin on the spot and she took Bandit into her care. Karin made it a point to tell me it was going to take some time and ended up keeping Bandit for almost 7 weeks but wow, when I got him back Bandit was a different dog. We maintained his training and although Bandit still has his goofiness he is a really well trained husky. Fast forward to 2020. I contact Karin AGAIN. This time because we reduced a female Germans Shepard and we absolutely needed Karin's help. Bailey (we gave her this name because she was a stray) suffered from a lot of anxiety and was afraid of everything. Karin took in Bailey (even during COVID) and her and her staff really took their time to help Bailey out with all her issues. Not only that but one week before Bailey's "release" day we dropped of Bandit a week before to do a refresher and also to have Bailey and Bandit do some trialing together. 6 months later and Bandit and Bailey are doing awesome and are definitely a bonded pair. What I appreciate about Karin and A Driven Dog is their directness and bluntness. I appreciate her telling me how difficult huskies are and to be prepared and study the breed. I also appreciate the time her and her staff took to help Bailey! Bailey is now a completely different Shepard. Karin didn't sales pitch me just to get me business. She was honest and gave me worst case scenarios which is why she has my business and I recommended her to all who ask me.

I had to take him somewhere else one time as it was last minute and Joyful Paws was all booked for private suites, which was quite traumatic for my doggo. The accommodations and caretaking just were not the same. He came home a nervous wreck w/a raw spot on his nose from rubbing it against the door, as well as digestive issues. This has never happened at Joyful Paws, so one more bit of proof that they are definitely the right choice for pet boarding
