Please keep in mind this is a private business owned by one man. He is very kind and flexible. I received an over the phone diagnosis prior to entering his shop, albeit it was pretty simple (I needed a windows reinstall) He promised three day turnaround and it was true. He promised update calls and it was true. The value of the service was better than any corporation and the discounts he applies are very appreciative. If my computer becomes compromised or damaged I will always return to him.

He spent 15 minutes discussing possible causes, pricing and options - which was a pleasant surprise. Most places will simply tell you that they can fix any problem you have and just bring your PC to them. So after more research I was able to recover data from my PC much to my relief, even though it still doesn't boot up properly. I spoke with Jim again today and explained what I'd done. He advised me that my options were to either buy a new PC or spend $175 to reinstall Windows. Considering my PC is 9 years old, I'll opt to buy a new one. And the best part of the whole experience was that Jim actually gave me some advice on what to look for in a new PC. Even though I never had Jim fix my PC, I'm really glad that I spoke with him. He's a class act and I appreciate him taking time to help me even though he wasn't getting paid. Needless to say if I ever have PC issues in the future I'll call Jim.

The guys instantly said they were almost positive they knew what was wrong and asked if we had a few minutes to wait. And in those few minutes they fixed the issue and just charged us a diagnostic fee. We had expected needing to replace/buy something for the tower. (My father and I were getting it fixed as a surprise for my sibling's birthday.) the honesty from them was incredibly refreshing. Also, they were very helpful in just moving the tower about. It was heavy and my father's arm was in a sling from a recent surgery. I would have moved it but they politely offered to remove it from the car and place it back in once it was repaired. This is the first place to say they wouldn't charge unless they got it right. With flexible hours and a friendly group of people working there. While best buy was pushing their warranties and wasting my time and money with random diagnoses, these guys got it right the first time. The only down side? They're located in an unlabeled building. Trust the address and go inside to ask for valley computer service. Definitely worth the trouble.

And the drive wasn't even damaged, only the screen was damaged. You pay 65$ when you drop it off, then they called me back to order the screen I could have paid the full bill of 460$, but I decided to pay 220$. And then I was told an 110$ N hour for labor and they'll charge me 4 hrs off the bat. I doubt it even take that long if they're as professional as they say. But then I ended up paying another 580$ when I picked it up. So your telling me another 5 hrs to bypass to get me to get apple again. Idk, it is what it is now.
