This lead me to Amara Bridal which had lots or reviews mentioning reasonable prices and a wide array of sizes available in store. We booked an appointment and I was able to bring 6 people with me. We had the salon to ourselves for the majority of the appointment and the young lady helping me was so sweet! I regret that I can't remember her name. The whole shopping experience was really great and I found my gown that day. I purchased my gown in January or February 2022 with my wedding not happening until September 2023. I was nervous that supply chain issues were still impacting the wedding gown market and I didn't want to risk anything. I'm so grateful I did this, because the first time my gown arrived it was in the wrong color! The salon noticed and immediately ordered another one at no additional cost to me. It still arrived in plenty of time and I picked it up in January 2023. My only negative was that when I picked it up, I tried it on again and the gown fit like a glove. The person helping me made a comment that I would have to be careful not to gain any weight between now and the wedding in order to make sure the gown still fit. I realize she was probably just trying to be helpful, but I don't find it appropriate to comment on a stranger's weight or their maintenance of said weight. I realize I may be a bit sensitive, but I think it is a really sensitive topic for so many women and they should be cognizant of that. For what it's worth, the dress still fit me beautifully 9 months later on my wedding day. Overall, I would still recommend! Like I said the shopping and purchasing experience were great. I had plenty of dresses to choose from and try on, my salesperson was very respectful of my budget, and the salon ensured that everything was in order when I got my gown. It's a great alternative to the bridal district experience!

I got married last spring and had a bit of a dress emergency which resulted in having to buy a whole new dress about 3 weeks before my wedding. Rebecca legit saved me! She made room for me to come in for 2 appointments in the same weekend to try on basically every dress in her store and ultimately find a beautiful and affordable dress I was able to wear for my wedding. It was a pretty stressful time for me (and my mom and sister who were also gracious enough to drop everything and come shopping with me :) )but Rebecca made things as easy on us as possible. She was so honest and helpful. I only wish we had found her store months before so we didn't end up with the emergency in the first place!

I am currently a bridesmaid in a wedding for July. As the wedding party is across the US, David's bridal is a perfect option of where to purchase dresses from, as all of us gals can try on these dresses are crossed states. That's a plus! With that said, most of the dresses are designed to fit the average girl. I am very tall with a long torso, so unfortunately, it was hard to find a dress that flattered my strengths. Also, most of the dresses are expensive. You are looking to spend at least about $150 for a dress (some are close to $200). to me, that seems a bit expensive, as I will wear this dress one time. If I need to alter the dress, that's an additional charge. With that said, the staff was super friendly! I walked in just to check out the rack of dresses, and I was greeted with a friendly smile. I was allowed to look through the dress options, and then one of the managers got me a fitting room. At one point in the evening, I was curious if the dress could be altered in anyway. One of the workers went to go get the seamstress who does alterations to help me. Both of them were very sweet and were honest about if they could alter the dress or not. I did appreciate the honesty! If you are trying on bridesmaid dresses, you have to realize that these dresses have been tried on by several gals in the city. They are not in the best shape, as some seams are split and there is make up all over the neck lines of some of the dresses. However, it is nice to be able to try on an example of the dress you would order. I did talk to one of the managers on duty, and she said that it would take about four months to get the dress in. Just know that it is not something you can pick up quickly and need to order in advance.

Savannah Center is tucked off of Union Center Boulevard in a vast green space. The wedding ceremony took place outside on a lovely sunny day. The couple said their vows inside a gazebo, which was positioned in front of a scenic lake and fountain view. The bridal party had a variety of places to take photographs, from outside, to the grand stairwell, to an area with posh seating that just so happened to match the wedding colors. Keeping with tradition, the bride and groom chose not to see each other before the ceremony. Each had private rooms on opposite ends of the building. After the vows, guests were led into a cocktail area, then later were seated in the dining room for the wedding party introductions. Dinner consisted of grilled chicken or filet mignon, with mashed potatoes and sauteed vegetables. I made a joke about mixed vegetables being "filler", but these were very tasty! It was a mixture of zucchini, red and yellow peppers, onion, and broccoli. The steak was succulent and as always, the mashed potatoes were devoured. I also enjoyed the pita chips that were served along in the bread basket. A small salad with red pepper ranch dressing was served for an appetizer. I'm not sure if the wedding cake was crafted by the caterers, but it was moist and savory. Throughout the evening, I spotted Mary, the wedding planner, keeping everything organized and on task. She works for Savannah Center and definitely had her hands full for this elaborate wedding: - Outside ceremony with about 150 guests - Live acoustic Celtic band: harp, flute, and violin - Five bridesmaids and five groomsmen, two flower girls, and a gigantic immediate family - Serving a three-course meal - A live band for the reception - A separate master of ceremony for the reception All of this, and she had to keep the bride and groom from seeing each other. First off, as a photographer, I really like the cool details in this venue. I like the wood panel area with fireplace for the groom/groomsmen photos. The piano makes a great place to do photos - fun or otherwise. It makes for very cool wedding ring photos, too - with the reflection. The over sized chairs work well for photos of the bride and groom. And there's all the outdoor area/gardens. Even with the buildings in the background, there are ways to get great photos. Also, the food is very good - better than many venues/caterers. Another plus - you can't hear the music from other weddings. The bridal suite for getting ready is spacious and well appointed. Every time I've been there, the staff has been professional with good service. They've even helped move furniture in the main lobby for photos! When told I had just worn it 6 days before and there were no issues, she said it must be "old". After I informed her it was a $500 suit I had worn 3 times, she said that nothing they do in their "process" could have caused it and took ZERO responsibility even though the suit was IN THEIR CARE when it happened. To make matters worse....THEY DIDN'T REFUND THE CHARGE FOR HAVING THE SUIT CLEANED THAT THEY RUINED. VERY VERY disappointed. I won't be going back. I like to be able to wear my clothing again instead of ruining clothing that costs quite a bit of money.

I purchased a new wardrobe from Brooks Brothers. $150 per pant, $89 per shirt, $795 for my coat, etc. High priced nice Wool clothing. The clothing was purchased in November 2014 and are less than 60 days new. I went to Widmers based on a recommendation that they do very nice work... This is definitely not the case... Upon picking up my clothes, my coat was missing... Instead of looking for the coat or even attempting to locate it, the manager rudely said "well are you going to pay for what I have found?" Of course my response was "no, I will pay when you find ALL of my items" the manager then said "Well I have other customers walking in and a driver that needs to take another load to our off site cleaning facility." Mind you the customers were still in the parking lot. The manager then proceeded to place my items back behind the counter hanger and tended to the other customers and driver.... Then finally began looking for my coat! Did I get offered a partial refund for my time wasted... NO.... Did I get a smart a** remark from the manager... YES... Just plain rude and inconsiderate. The best part to all of this; upon returning home and removing my items from the packaging; I noticed Pilling on all of my items.... What causes these crazy balls of fuzz you may ask.... Laundering of my Expensive Wool Clothing! I was irate in this moment and called the manager. The response I received was a very unsympathetic apology and an offer to send my clothes back to the warehouse for repair! Yes, I want the people who made my clothing look unrefined to repair them..... No Thank you...I sent pictures to the manager to prove my claim and she sent me an email stating that it appeared to be a manufacturer defect and told me to return all of my clothing to Brooks Brothers!!! I contacted Brooks Brothers and they told me they would exchange all of my Wool clothing, however, they wanted to make me aware that this is an excuse given by a dry cleaner that has messed up and washed my clothing.... They said that unlike the dry cleaner, they stand behind their product and will ensure that I am completely satisfied. However, I am a man of ethical responsibility, and will not make the party that is not responsible for this error hold responsibility.... Thank you to Brooks Brothers for being a company of integrity! I have spent several hours shaving my clothing back to smooth and will NEVER use Widmers again. I do NOT recommend you take anything of value to them unless you have plenty of time either correcting their mistakes or take pleasure holding other people responsible for their mistake. Price: $72 for 3 Wools Pants, 3 Shirts, and 2 Coats.... This price includes a $10 off coupon. I do have picture and email proof of my statements if you need me to validate my claims... However, based on other Yelp reviews that I have found on Widmers while researching this company; you will notice that my claims have already been substantiated by many other people. The salads were sparse, there were no cheese selections at all, no juices served, and not a single vegetable was on the menu. I don't believe that I have EVER been to a buffet that didn't at least serve green beans(but then, right now they cost more/pound than pork). The buffet was FULL of "filler foods" like donuts and muffins. The service was terrible. If you wanted something to drink, you had to go get it yourself. That "buffet" wasn't even worth $150. let alone $275.00 There was a sign out front that said "Mother's Day Buffet". We will not be stupid enough to be "taken" a second time. We will NOT be back.

Sue cordially agreed that it was fine and that she would send me a link to pay by Paypal. Well I went to bed knowing I had secured help, and that I needn't look further for a stateside concierge to get them to me. Bottom line, I woke up the next day expecting to find the Paypal link to pay her, and instead get an email sent hours later by her that she would like to inquire more about my company and what did we do, where were we from, etc. At this point I knew her "promise" to help was worthless, but I played along anyway, describing our certified translation services and remote workers who get paid by Paypal, hoping I could 'reinstate' her offer by pleasing her investigative tendencies and suspiciousness. After my prompt reply I did get a response that she was 'too busy' to do it for us, and told us all 'good luck'. I reiterated to her that when a concierge service or any critical service for that matter agrees on a project or service and that people are counting on them, it is important to fulfill the tasks agreed upon, especially when knowing you are dealing with a customer in a bind so to speak. So, we were lied to, counted on her falsely and had to make last minute arrangements elsewhere costing us another day, and our employees an additional three days due to the approaching weekend. Definately avoid this errand service if you plan to count on someone. Secondly, dealing with suspicous people who ask questions about you and your company during the time they were to be accomplishing your task and only after confirming an appointment is just the opposite of trustworthy or reliable.
