Zephyr is an unassuming spot... very low key but I have to say, it was fabulous!!! I had such a wonderful time there!! The music wasn't super loud so you could hold a convo without speaking on the top of your lungs. The service was wonderful, Rockii was a gem!! They have games and the crowd is friendly. Everything that you need in a hookah bar. This place has hookah that is smooth and strong, the couches are comfortable, and the environment is very chill. It is easy to relax or have a conversation. I tried their fizzy pop. It was a great flavor! Besides hookah they have water bottles, tea, Gatorade, etc but that's about it. Came here for my wifes birthday, and had a really good time. The owner was really nice and the overall atmosphere was chill. We ended up getting 2 hookahs. The first was Mango Flavored which was really smooth, and the other was vanilla chai which was good, but probably not the best one if you're a novice like we were. In hindsight: Had I known prior to coming that this location was: 1.) BYOB. and 2.) Right next to what looked like a bomb @ss Korean BBQ spot. I wouldn't have made this the last leg of the night. I think you can easily make a night out of just coming here, and having food from next door. Zephyr is a smaller hookah cafe with chill vibes. I stopped by Zephyr for this first time on a Thursday night a couple weeks ago with a friend. There were a few other folks there but they were all solo, relaxing and enjoying a hookah. I think there was only one group that showed up before we left. The music was pretty quiet and they had a basketball game on the TV. We ordered a mango hookah as well as a couple soft drinks, there is no liquor or food service at Zephyr. The hookah came out pretty quickly and had good flavor initially but with the second set of coals became a little more harsh. Adding a second flavor like mint may help smooth out the hookah. It felt like everyone who was there were regulars. Service was good and overall I had a good experience. Recommend if you are looking for a chill vibe and casual convo or if you just want to hookah solo and relax. Zephyr might not be the best hookah lounge if you're looking for a lively crowd but it is good if you want chill vibes. Parking might be tough if all the street parking is taken and the meters are 1hr max. read more

I love hookah, a lot and since covid the regulations to close hookah bars down in the city so I had to go all the way in the county, west county! Spot is really nice and clean. I like to try different flavors. They have a large variety. I tried fizzy pop(a mixture of different flavors) Definitely one of my favorite flavors I have tried. Came here on a Saturday night and it took them 25 minutes after being seated to tell us the flavor was out. And then waited an additional 15 minutes before going up to the cashier asking for a refund since it took 40+ minutes to get our hookah. When I went up, by some coincidence, it was ready. I didn't see it coming to our table or leaning the room but that's what the worker said. I asked for a refund since it took too long. Getting a refund itself took 10+ minutes. They don't seem to know how to refund to have customer service. Only positive thing was being seated right away. So went to visit this spot today, don't usually go out here to lounges and bars, but my date suggested the spot in proximity to her, so why not. Different than VA and DC where they serve food and drinks at their hookah bars, here you can bring ya own anything at a $10 surcharge a head. No alcohol or food is served though. Hostess was sweet and kind, unfortunately date and I weren't feeling the place that much.We decided to pay for our non-alcoholic beverages and roll. As I was closing out with the gracious hostess her rude tacky supervisor or manager which was Arab, South Asian, or Middle Eastern with glasses, berated her about why we didn't get hookah. I wasn't having that tone of disrespect towards one of our Black Queens, so I promptly interrupted and said cause I decided we weren't having any. This clown then tries make the establishment seem as though you're not welcome in unless you're getting hookah, which I have no issue with except for the unprofessional manner in which he did it. Really good chill spot. The hookahs are packed nicely and the service was very good. They have nice couches and tvs too (and one tv has Netflix too).
