Tried to order their shrimp and garlic noodles, but they no longer have them. Also tried to order a combo w/ rice but they don't have rice anymore. We wanted their popcorn chicken, but was told it would take 30min, so I ended up ordering two different flavors of wings...it still took 30min for the wings Ended up ordering drinks and their chicken wings w/ fries. ube cofee -4/5 solid and a decent size drinnk would get again. honey bbq chicken wings 2.5/5 lemon pepper wings 2.5/5 Both their wings were extremely dry, no sauce could save them. I had a re scheduled flight in the area for the next day. Hungry at the Ramada inn without any good food in site on Yelp. Found zero which my Socal place got rid of (or should I say only left one) not in my area so I do not go anymore. Happy for this find, 30mins before closing. I called in my order to a very nice man. Since I was calling with an out of area number, he said he couldn't take my card info to pay. I would have to pay upon pick up. Due to closing, he wanted to make sure I would really show after placing the order. I told him for sure. Got an Uber with my husband and arrived at 8pm sharp. They feature a decent selection of Asian boba drinks(coffee, tea and milk) as well as Mexican classics like the Mangonada. The style inside is very modern and the service today was very on point and nice. She also made our drinks perfectly and beautiful. The drinks are made to order so you do have to wait a bit, but it was slow so it was not long at all. A mangonada or watermelon slush sounds refreshing since a chocolate dessert didn't work out for us after dinner tonight. We ended up ordering a Cookie Monster and a watermelon slush. I had asked and really wanted to try the xxtra flamin hot elote, but they ran out of elote, not sure if they ran out of the corn or the flamin Cheetos part of this. The Cookie Monster is essentially a flurry, a tall flurry. Bits of cookie crumbs on top and throughout. It's not bad. Way too many calories and fat for me. The watermelon slush is refreshing and quite nice. The watermelon is fantastic. The chunks of watermelon is a nice added touch, though not so sweet on their own, which makes me realize there must be added sugar to the slush to make it sweeter. The portions here are generous. I stopped by today to redeem a voucher for a free refresher + 1 add in. There was a bit of confusion as per the voucher, bc unbeknownst to me it has expired at the end of 2022. But the young lady asked, I believe the owner, to come out & he said it was ok. I appreciate him honoring the voucher (especially since I received the voucher due to an unsatisfactory experience)-- so that was very nice! They have a variety of coffees, teas, smoothies, and shakes. They also have a menu consisting of things like elote, popcorn chicken and shrimp, and garlic noodles. The food selection isn't huge, but there's enough options. I chose to try a popcorn chicken combo with rice and corn and a coffee horchata. My boyfriend got a shrimp combo with fries. He didn't end up getting a drink because he's not a big fan of coffee and tea drinks and they don't serve soft drinks so he just got water. After a short wait, our food was ready. The popcorn chicken combo was large and nicely presented even in a styrofoam container. It came with a white sauce that was kind of like a garlicky ranch type flavor and complimented the meal well. I chose to pour it over the top and mix everything together and liked it that way. The chicken was supposed to have a garlic butter flavor, but it didn't really taste like that to me. It was slightly bland, but good with the sauce and the chicken was well prepared, not overly battered, and tender. My boyfriend liked his shrimp, but it only comes with five so he was still a little hungry. Luckily my meal was huge so I happily shared some with him. 4 of us dined here. Upon entering, we were "greeted" by an angry looking young lady with long cute braids. Her unwelcoming face made me feel like maybe she would prefer to be anywhere but here. We placed our order...3 orders of popcorn chicken with fries for my family and an order of crispy shrimp with garlic noodles for myself. Also ordered two strawberry limeade drinks and one cookies and cream drink. The food came out quickly but she had never put in my order for the shrimp and garlic noodles so my family ate while I waited. My food came out soon after and I immediately knew, as soon as I opened my container, that the noodles were going to be overcooked. I was right! Though they were loaded with seasoning, they lacked flavor of that makes sense. The dominant seasoning was SALT! So basically it was an overcooked, mushy and salty pasta with 6 quite large shrimp on top. The shrimp was also a tad salty so trying to enjoy the combination was difficult. I didn't want to have to ask for a refund but with every bite, I felt my eye jumping from all the salt. My blood vessels were sufferingggg! I couldn't do it. My husband finally convinced me to return it. By then, the young angry woman had gone home and another young man (much more polite) was at the counter. I explained that my meal was too salty to enjoy. He said he would remake it if I'd like or he'd give me a refund. I opted to have him remake it. When the new plate arrived, the food was less salty. Still a tad too salty for me BUT less salty nonetheless. I took my food to go since my family was done eating by this time. The meal was disappointing. Definitely not something I enjoyed at all. The shrimp had potential but the salt was overpowering still. I peeled all the breading off and tried to eat them that way. Still too salty. I threw the food away leaving behind 4 of the 6 shrimp and pretty much all of the pasta. However, my family liked their food. The food did look just like the pictures on their walls and I guess theirs wasn't too salty. It was also large portions so they had leftovers which they finished the next day. I can see that the food is cooked to order so maybe my food was a fluke. This place has good reviews so it very well could have been a heavy handed person seasoning the food. Someone should tell them it's better to add too little than too much. I can always add salt or a dipping sauce but I can't take it away. It took two days to recover from all that salt. I guzzled so much water over the next few days to quench my thirst! The drinks were fine though the limeade was a tad tart and bitter but I added ice and more ice and let it water down some which made it better. The shake looked creamy and huge. It doesn't matter because you are here fore the drinks anyway. I wanted to try all the drinks but couldn't, it would have too much. However, I was able to order five drinks to try with my entire family. I had the mango Slush, Oreo milkshake, Matcha, and some fruit teas. I have to say there no complaints at all because they all tasted great. It can get expensive as each drink cost around 7-8 dollars each. I found the food here to be just ok flavor wise, I've had better at another Zero Degrees. However, theirs drinks are awesome. I've only had the watermelon slush and the spicy version of watermelon but from the taste of those I can tell that the other drinks will be equally good. It's aight. Food was aight. Drinks were not bad and I think I'm the only one who liked the stuff here in my group lol. It's part way in between downtown Orlando and the airport so it was a perfect spot to get some Florida boba drinks. On a hot day the drinks are better than they actually taste tbh but that's just our group. They do serve food as well like chicken (popcorn style), fries, etc. I do have to say that I thought my slushie came out the most fine but their matcha is kinda what you'd expect of Florida. We ordered to go and while I forgot to document a lot of the place with photos, it's still refreshing to get in the super hot and humid weather here since there were many boba places to try. They had some unique things for boba places that I don't see in Cali boba places elotes, Cajun style things, etc so I'll give them that. That being said the food left something to be desired. I'll start with the positives: I liked the Mangonada for the spicy mango and tamarind straw and the Cookie Monster despite being quite sweet. My friends didn't like the Ube nor the Matcha though. I honestly wished I had pics but it left something to be desired. Lastly the fries were kinda stale. The chicken was just okay but nothing too crazy. It'll do great for drunk ppl food or late night but not much more. Overall, if it weren't for the Mangonada and Cookie Monster this place is a 3, but I liked the drinks so it's at least a 4. The service was good here, I have been her twice already and both times I had the same experience. Typically they do not speak English but do their best to understand you, the food takes a while to come out and both times I have visited they have been out of Elote. I enjoyed this zero degree way more than the e colonial one. Their inside was very spacious and clean. The area was nice as well. I just wish the cashier knew more about the menu. I added boba to my strawberry drink after she said it was chewy boba (it was the one the burst) also she said the medium had a slight kick. Turns out it was way hotter couldn't really enjoy it. I really appreciated the feedback from the person who replies to people's comments. I will say since March I did give it another try the other day with my boyfriend so we could check out the food! This time there was a short line but could tell this experience was going to be so much better because of how friendly & helpful the lady taking the customers in front of us orders. My boyfriend knew exactly what he wanted & went straight to the #5 carne asada fries box with the watermelon slush that he's been thinking of ever since we came last time. He solely picked this place for lunch for the watermelon slush. I went with the #1 popcorn chicken box & didn't realize you can choose to add flavor to the chicken & fries; so I went with the salt & pepper flavor for my chicken & Cajun seasoning on my fries with a side of ranch(which was extra, but no big deal); as far as my drink I asked they lady taking our order for recommendations, so helpful & knowledgeable. I went with the strawberry bliss since it had strawberry's & peach in a green tea, which had a lot of fruit in it but loved it. One of the girls that I asked what she got to drink earlier wasn't fond of her drink but she took it back & let her get something else which was nice, it showed that the lady taking orders really wanted the customer happy & satisfied. Ok so I wasn't as impressed as I wanted to be here. First of all the music here was way too loud for the middle of the day at lunch - considering we were the only ones there when we came in, maybe it just felt louder because of that. I know that seems like a bizarre thing to comment on and I don't think I ever have before, but it was LOUD. Anyway. Pricing is good. I ordered bbq wings and my partner for the bbq popcorn chicken. The fries that came with were just so so - I usually eat all my fries but here I only ate like three or four. We were in agreement that the bbq sauce was amazing but we both got at least one piece of chicken we thought was undercooked. Not so good when chicken is one of your main foods being sold. Especially for both of us to get a piece. No thanks - so I took off a bit for that because it's kinda important. Also got a strawberry smoothie. Located next to Izziban in a fairly busy plaza this place I had heard of from friends before but always missed while in the area. This time we were there and free and it was worth it. The watermelon slush was delicious. My daughter had ordered it as her drink it was cool and refreshing. With the perfect level of sweetness. Not too sweet but not tart or plain. Really well made and balanced. I had the strawberry cheesecake and it was delicious. Tasted chilly and nice but similar to other cream smoothies I've had like it. The garlic noodles are terrific. The house spicy sauce was not spicy to me but was such a great flavor that went with the noodles mixing the oil and flavor it was bliss. The drinks were however outstanding! With a love for Thai ice tea we tried the camo version which was like a creamy slushy. I spoke with a customer who was waiting for her order and asked for recommendations. She said anything on the drink menu and the elote were the best things on the menu. She was right about the chicken being a hit or miss. We did see several customers coming to the restaurant for take out, mostly for drink orders. Quite a mix What did I get I went for the lunch special which was from 11am to 3pm. I got the popcorn chicken with fries and did the split cup drinks with coffee horchata and green tea milk tea. The popcorn chicken was good! The chicken pieces was not dry and was juicy. I did it with salt and pepper and added milk spice. The salt and pepper style give it the taste like the taiwanese popcorn chicken with a mild spice is a good kick. I didn't top my fries with cheese but got the cajun fries which was good. The split milk tea was good, though they were all pre-mixed it wasn't as sweet as I thought. Environment This is in the plaza where Izziban is. There are a number of seating inside. Currently there is no seating outside. You place your order at the table and they will call you once your order is ready Niceness of the staff The staff was very nice. The ordering process was quite lengthy as there were so many options for the drinks and also the fries and chicken Dollar It was a good deal during the lunch hour. They have a couple of food options with drinks. My meal was $10 and I paid $1.50 more to get the split cup which isn't such a bad deal Yes?
