    Breakfast sandwich with expresso.
    Jessica F.

This hit the spot!! The breakfast sandwich was so good and pressed just right! Soft bread with a toasted crust. Eggs not over cooked, bacon crunchy with a cheese pull!! Plus they gave me some pico/mojo sauce to add to my sandwich which made it even more mouthwatering with a kick!! Must come here!! Plus the added Cuban expresso made my breakfast complete.

I stopped by for a cocktail and it was absolutely superb. The décor is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by!

This place is a great find. Right down the street from the mall. Authentic Cuban cuisine. Friendly service. Good music. Clean and comfortable. And very generous portions at a reasonable price. We will definitely be back when we're in the area.

Quick stop for some coffee after having Peruvian food and the coffee was really good. Ordered the Cappuccino and it was really good. Will be back soon to try their pastries. Also, my bf enjoyed his black coffee too.

The food was absolutely amazing. The waitress was very sweet. The ambience was relaxing, but it had good music going on. There were a couple problems with getting the orders, right, but they made it right. You have to try the tres leches cake.

Had an amazing experience at Havana Bistro & Cafe. The environment was incredible--great atmosphere that really sets the tone from the moment you walk in. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and clearly made with care. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the quality you get. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend to anyone looking for a great meal.

What a hidden gem! We had just gotten out of the airport craving Cuban coffee and food and it really hit the spot. The sandwiches were very fresh and toasted. The coffee was delicious and so were the empanadas (not pictured). Definitely coming back!

With 2 sides to choose from!! The one that you can pick your entree that is already prepared, no waiting! And they do sandwiches , sweets and cubam coffee. The other is the bistro, with a la cart and entree to choose from lobster to fried fish or a good meat ,everything fresh and you can enjoy it with a variety of drinks on their bar, and to top it of, they have a variety of cuban cigars that you choose from and finish your meal.

The food was tasty and gave a decent size portion. Was expecting to get some tortillas to go with the fajitas but didn't. Had to ask the waitress for plates for the appetizer but the staff were very friendly.

    Coritado and a guava pastry!

I recently went to Orlando for a conference, and while we spent the majority of our time in a large…read moreresort and convention center, the leadership of the organization hosting the conference hosted a special dinner in one of the reservable ballrooms at the Cuba Libre Restaurant. I believe it may have been the Havana Ballroom. There was plenty of food, drinks, and mingling. The Cuba Libre Restaurant staff were great, and the venue was well laid out and worked for this event very well. When we arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday evening for our event, we first mingled around the tables and near the cash bar. There were a bunch of large tables that we began to fill out. As our program began and announces made and awards given out, appetizers were passed out. We were offered Guacamole Cubano, Mama Amelia's Empanadas, and Shrimp Cocktail which we passed around to the entire table. Personally, I skipped the guacamole and shrimp dishes but absolutely loved the empanadas. Yum! Then, an individual Cuban House Salad was passed out with red wine vinaigrette. This was also quite tasty. Next came the entrees including a choice of Salmon Paradiso, Ropa Vieja, Citrus Chicken, or Paella Vegetariana. I was trying to decide between the Ropa Vieja (beef brisket) and the Citrus Chicken. While the Citrus Chicken sounded perfect, I asked the serving staff their advice, and they recommended the Ropa Vieja for a true taste of Cuba. I was happy that I did even though it may have been more heavy and with a kick than I was expecting. I'm still glad I ordered it though. It was wonderfully prepared! And then, everyone received Cuban Flan for dessert. The Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar celebrates Cuban heritage and explores Cuban flavors, music, art, and traditions. The mission of the restaurant is to provide an "escape" to Havana through exciting food and beverages and entertainment experiences to celebrate the Cuban people and their culture. Orlando hosts one of several of this restaurant around the United States. This restaurant is in the midst of the Pointe Orlando. You can find details on their website: https://cubalibrerestaurant.com/en/orlando. You can find menus, entertainment, blogs, make reservations, specials, and more. The Cuba Libre Restaurant is open for brunch on weekends from 12 PM to 4 PM, for dinner Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 10 PM, Friday from 5 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 4 PM to 10:30 PM, and Sunday from 4 PM to 10 PM. Happy Hour is at the bar and bar tables on weekdays from 5 PM to 6 PM and weekends from 4 PM to 6 PM. They have a special Chef's Tasting menu during dinner. They also host weekend nightlife and shows on Fridays with a live band from 7:30 PM to 12:15 AM and a DJ and dancing from 10 PM to 2 AM on both Fridays and Saturdays. It was certainly a great event and a fun place to be!

We mentioned we had a reservation but we were early and they were able to accommodate us. The indoor dining area is lovely with that old school Florida feel. Beautiful spanish and Cuban decor. There also an outdoor seating area which was empty on our visit due to the rain storm, humidity and heat. Our waiter was on top of everything, friendly and very knowledgeable. The food, I grew up on Cuban food and cant help but compare all Cuban food to my dad's cooking. I had the lechón platter and it was good. The lechón was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The yuca lacked flavor for me and was a bit bland as were the black beans. The rice was good. I was able to try a bite of picadillo and it was really good! I also had a bit of a Cuban sandwich which was a little different, but it was really really good! We brought family from out of town and they were all very pleased with their meals. We will definitely be back.

It came with two sides, I had the tostones and salad. It was alright, but I definitely had better. I ordered it to eat it there and they put all the sauces in to-go containers, which was weird. The sauces were in such tiny containers, you definitely would need more. My friend got the mushroom arepa and a side of the sweet plantains that she really enjoyed. Service was good. The girl taking our order was super nice and polite. It was more like one step up from fast/food and self-served.
