I'll start with my hair since that is the main focus of finding a salon! Management needs to train them on basic client relations - Don't talk negatively about the clients fiancé to their face. Don't stalk an ex client around the salon. Don't keep smacking the clients forehead as a joke when they're obviously not comfortable. Don't share your deep life traumas after the first 20 minutes of meeting the client. Some of the stylists simply need better professional boundaries. I found most of my experiences there draining and tedious.
