It's ABSOLUTELY necessary that this bed be at or extremely close to the height of my wheelchair so I m able to transfer independently. I bought the bed but I bought the "off brand" base for $800 less. The salesman assured me that it was EXACTLY the same as the posturepedic base and the legs could be raised or lowered. Long story short, got it home & NO the legs did not work out as the salesman promised. My dad called the shop & the man said he was pretty sure they could do it, he said it might take a week as they had a heavy work load. My dad took them out there & the gentleman said "oh, yeah this will be no problem", my dad told him my situation & the guy had them done the next day by 9am. At NO CHARGE!! What a beautiful blessing. I was so happy I cried. I love to hear stories like these & love to help people as much as they help me. Great Great People. Thank you so much
