I am a critical reviewer pay attention: Do not listen to negative comments. I had the best haircut of my life thanks to Carlos. I also paid attention to the other barbers and the customers came out looking like a million bucks. Service was amazing and as expedient as possible. Although some people may complain that it's slow it's the fastest I've dealt with in Arizona. Also keep in mind if a business is a little slow it's because they have a lot of clients because they are the best in the business. We came here in Sunday morning. The wait wasn't bad maybe 15 minutes. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and took a seat once someone was available we were asked if we had a preference on the barber. Since it was our first time here we didn't. We had Vicky she was very friendly. She made small talk which was nice. My son is 5yrs old and already has a preference on his haircut. He was very happy with the outcome and so was I. Customer service was ok. But unfortunately the services for us were not. My kids cut was crooked. & my friend entire service was terrible. The lady did not know what she was doing. And not until the end did she tell us she don't get many blacks as to why she didn't know how to cut his hair correctly. Services were $35 but she said she'll charge $30 because his cut was not at all what he wanted. She should have been honest with us before starting to cut his hair. Would not give them another try only because they are unfamiliar with African American hair. read more

This place really sucks. The guys working here are super slow and have serious attitudes. They care more about messing with their phones and texting than actually cutting hair. Was waiting 45 minutes with my son and one of the guys buddies walked in. He immediately bumped knuckles and cut his buddys hair in front of my son who was next. Haircuts are subpar for the price. Worst hair cut I've ever received, asked for a small trim on hair I've grown out for 6 months and they cut it down to a finger length. Didn't listen and didn't make a smooth fade. Wouldn't recommend for anyone who needs a trim or any one who has longer then finger length hair or you'll be greatly disappointed in every way shape and form. read more

Came in from out of state and needed a clean fade after being here for 2 weeks. Went here and the shop is clean and quiet. Isaac in the middle chair gave me a great razor fade and my 15 year old boys liked him a lot. 5 out of 5 for us. Will be back when back in town. read more

When this place is on they are on. They can give good cuts. There are a few here that give you great haircuts like Jesse. But there are some of the barbers there that are more concerned with talking to their "dawgs" on the phone or texting somebody. So you could be in the middle of a haircut and they will stop, pick up the phone, and start texting, or answer the the phone and proceed to to have a 10 minute convo while your there with a half finished haircut. Some of them act like they would rather be doing something else instead of concentrating on doing your hair. Like I said it's not all of them, but it is a few of them. read more

Nice looking shop, however if you are looking for a professional cut, keep looking. Save your money and go to a chain. I stopped in on a slow weekday and the barber sitting on his chair was texting on his phone and took more than enough time to notice a customer, I felt like apologizing and leaving. There were two other employees who came out of the back and started chatting about their weekend and didn't have any problems with vulgar language, including a female employee, so heads up if you want to bring your kids here. One of the barbers even took the opportunity to trim his own hair while he was cutting the hair of a customer. This place is close to my house but I will drive further for a more professional and deserving shop for my business. If you just need a simple cut, without concern of your look and want to pay more than what it's worth and feel like a burden to the employees, this is your shop. read more

I agree with Matt K. I went in around 4pm on 4-18 to get my cut. I looked around and for the most part I saw good cuts here and there. Then It was my turn to get my cut and I asked the guy for a mid fade with number 8 on top and 0 on sides. But he instead talked me into getting a taper because it was more professional looking or whatever rubbish he was saying. He sounded like he knew his stuff... So then I agreed, well once my haircut got finished. He gave me the mirror and it seemed fine for the most part. Then I get home and It was just horrible!! has to be the very worst haircut of my entire life!!! The blend was so horrible!!! Anyway, I don't know how all the barbers there are.. But let me discribe this guy to you so you can stay far away from him. this guy is a bit heavy, 5'9 ish, light complexion, mexican american male with I believe was blond/brownish hair. His chair is the second to the left from the front door. I was overly disappointed!! I have never had such a horrible haircut in my life! I will never return to any Zero's Barbershop again!! This haircut is beyond embarrassing!! To the point I did not attend a Birthday bash. That man destroyed my plans for that night!
