We stopped here a couple times on our recent trip to the area. The Zesti Food Carts area is a great idea and very well done in a lovely space. There is plenty of parking and you have so many choices. It's not always easy to get everyone to agree on what they want and they have many food carts and drink options to choose from. There are also a variety of seating options. It was quite warm when I was there and more shaded areas would have been nice. The bathrooms are also in great need of improvement. I would still recommend a stop here, especially to relax and catch up with friends or if you want to go out but you're not sure what you want or just feel like keeping your options open. read more

Overall a good experience! It was a little odd that we were there before 8 pm on a Saturday and so many carts were closed or getting ready to close up. Everyone we spoke with was friendly and I loved how clean and pretty the grounds are with lots of vegetation, games, ample seating options, and good lighting! We tried food from the Turkish and Mexican trucks, and I forgot to get food photos. The Turkish truck was our least favorite, the kofta had pink in the middle, the tzatziki could have used more garlic, and the hummus was a very thin consistency. Overall not an ideal experience but the rice was delicious, the pita was possibly the best pita I've ever had, and the owners/workers were incredibly kind. The Mexican truck was better, but there were a couple mix ups with our food. The owner/server working that truck was kind, but did not speak/understand English well, which led to some mixups. I have no problem with this, it's not meant to be derogatory in any way, it just caused some difficulty with ordering / making medications to our order (and unfortunately we're not fluent in Spanish, so we couldn't make up the middle ground in the communication issues). Our enchiladas were ordered with verde sauce, came out with red sauce and the burrito we ordered and added beans to the inside did not have beans on the inside; additionally, we almost didn't get our drink until we asked for it. They definitely seem to be a work in progress still and the only restrooms are upgraded outdoor porta-potty's (but think elevated) but don't seem to be accessible as there's a step up. I can appreciate the vision and we'll definitely be back as they continue to upgrade. The only other thing I've seen complaints about is parking; there was no event that night at any of the venues, so we had ample parking, and I could see several parking options as well as lots of street parking in the surrounding areas. This must be something they've improved upon, but it had better parking than almost any other pods in Beaverton or Portland. read more

Drove a ways for Yelp's Saucy Social at Zesti Food Carts. Had everything I needed for a pleasant Friday night. Beer, a variety of food and live music. The bartenders at the Zesti Bar did a great job of serving guests quickly and politely! Plenty of beer on tap (my bad for not getting a pic of the tap list). Tasty samples from a few vendors: Heart of India, Lu's, Koa's and Birria La Jefe were the ones I tried. All very good samples but gotta give Lu's my vote for the their teriyaki chicken, rice and salad bowl. A hearty serving of food jammed in that bowl. Kao's for being the only vendor with a coffee offering that night with Mr Brown's Vanilla iced coffee since I needed a pick me up for the drive home. There were a few more food carts on the property but were closed that night. There's also Houseplant Hub on the property for those looking to add an indoor plant or two to their home. Quite a selection and very knowledgeable staff. I would return if in the area and it's a nice casual dining option with a variety of offerings for the locals. read more

Just discovered this place! I think it's admirable for the large food truck selection and the diverse seating options plus they have a full bar. Summertime you can sit outside and enjoy giant connect four or corn hole. They had a large indoor seating area with huge heaters hanging above (amazing for winter). I was called out to do a pick-up here and I was so excited to give it a try... until I got there. First off, this was not a busy time during the day and there were very few people inside yet parking was a problem, even with a tiny car. ANd, second... what is with gravel now seriously?? This is the second newer food cart village I have been to which had this horrific stuff as it's main ground. I get that it is cheap but I have a cane and need solid ground that doesn't move. I took a once round and was nearly fainting from the pain and stability challenging nature. It is a very dangerous surface - near impossible for a walker and/or wheelchair. It is just shocking seeing places go this level of saying that people with mobility issues are just not welcome here. That is unfortunate because there are a lot of seats and some decent looking food places. read more

The vendors at Zesti's are friendly and the food is a good value as well as fresh. You have a choice of dining venues to choose from. The Solarium is heated in the winter and cooled in the summer. The Pavillion is open air in the summer but they close it up and heat it well in the winter. You can even choose a clear pod for a more intimate experience. We loved most everything about the Food Truck eatery. Our favorite was the genuinely friendly bartender and his drinks! The food trucks had already started closing by the time we were finishing our dinners. We tried (between the 5 of us), the Italian place, the loaded tater tots, and the Poke/Japanese place. The eel bowl was amazing but the eel was cold and because he closed up after serving me, I couldn't ask if that's how it was supposed to be served. Nonetheless, I ate it, it was delicious and it didn't cause any after effects or issues. The Italian dishes were large and so amazing (especially the truffle pasta)! The loaded tater tots were covered in deliciousness! Some of the truck servers could be more sensitive to the nut allergy inquiries we had and also, it would have been nice to know exact closing times of each of the trucks. What a fantastic place! There is lots of parking, covered seating, a bar, and food trucks with many different cuisines. We went to Zesti at lunch time. Not all of the trucks are open for lunch, but many were. I walked around looking at all of the options. Each truck had a good selection of items. I settled on FG Amore, the Italian food truck. My husband and I decided to each have a pork slider and split an order of arancini and zepolli. We were amazed; the food was absolutely restaurant quality. I am still thinking about that sandwich: lightly toasted bun, flavorful pork, and I think some kind of garlic butter or oil on the bun. Best thing I have eaten in a long time. The arancini were very good. You get three of them. They would be good for sharing. They are large and very cheesy, making them quite filling. The zepolli are large, but airy. They come with two different lemon sauces for dipping. You get six of them, so also good for sharing. For a casual meal where everyone can get what they want, I highly recommend this food truck paradise. Get the pork slider at FG Amore!! read more

What a bummer. We came several times last summer and loved it, but tonight's trip was disappointing. It's true there are less food carts than before. Way fewer options, and the Hawaiian cart was gone (a favorite). We got Philly and Thai food, and both were disappointingly small. This makes us think the cost for the carts is too high and they can't afford decently-sized servings. Even the Zesti cart was gone--they can't afford to run their own? Apparently Tuesdays get $3 off beers, otherwise my cider would've been $9! Insane! Somehow they are still developing it, with signs of additions and changes to the setting. But the never ending construction and landscape doesn't mean much if selection and pricing runs the place into the ground. Very unfortunate cuz it was a promising place last year. read more

This is a food cart pod between Cornelius and Forest Grove that has a nice sized covered area for eating your meal and grabbing a drink. The bar has at least 40 different items on tap. There's been a fair amount of improvement since it opened, but unfortunately, the number of food carts has dramatically declined. Probably due to location and the parking situation which is a bit limited at times. Occasionally, there is live music and I've been to a few trivia nights which is a ton of fun. If you can find something you like to eat and want a less crowded situation than in Hillsboro, this is a good place to grab a bite to eat. read more

Parking is still terribly inconvenient... and thats driven a number of good carts out to other locations. So now, your experience is something along the lines of: - find a spot to park in that "parking lot" - go inside at 12:30 on a Friday only to discover 70% of the places are still closed - leave and goto the Hillsboro carts p.s. who are all these people taking the street parking?! if the carts are all closed and theres nobody there to eat.... HOW is the primary street parking full 100% of the time? Wife N. and I have lived in Forest Grove for the better part of 25 years now. So imagine my surprise when she came home and told me, "there's an entire huge lot full of food carts down on Yew street that maybe we should check out?" Uhhh, really?!? Friday night, 6:30pm, and I arrived for my first (of what will undoubtedly be many) experience here. My first impression: this isn't some "abandoned parking lot" that a bunch of food trucks have shown up in. This plot of land, with its sites, electrical and gas hookups, and pavilion was designed to be a cart pod. If it's your first time here, unless you've got a strictly-preconceived plan for what you want to eat, I would recommend giving yourself an extra fifteen minutes to walk the lot, browse the menu boards and get your bearings on all that is available. After all, there's no sense making a beeline to the taco truck and then smacking yourself on the forehead for seeing that Indian joint you would have rather tried on the way out. I mean, that kind of situation can just ruin the whole rest of your day. Newbies (like me): survey the place first. There are roughly 25 or so food trucks, and as I've found to be typical of cart-lands, a wide swath of global cuisine is available. Just from memory, there is seafood (shrimp, rice, fish and chips, etc.), various Asian selections (Chinese, Korean, Sushi, etc.), several Mexican/Hispanic selections, several middle-eastern and mediterranean selections, Indian including vegetarian, Boba and comfort food, burgers, a few coffee/espresso stands (closed at night), baked goods and more. Pretty much, there's something for everyone of just about any age and culinary proclivity. I didn't see a single "cash only" sign and the place seems fully friendly to plastic forms of payment. On this rather chilly 40-degree winter night, the pavilion was open, well-lit, and heated, with music blaring, with a full wine and beer bar and plenty of "outdoor-feeling" seating with the high ceiling and open construction. In non-Covid times we would have stayed for the atmosphere. But tonight we decided to grab our food and take it home (as...we live here...). Parking wasn't too bad--we arrived after dark (which is easy to do in January) --I'd guess they have about 40 parking spaces with street parking otherwise. We found a spot quite easily, though I'd imagine at peak times (and when the weather is nicer) this could definitely get parked up. This is awesome, so glad to see we don't have to go into Portland to find a decent cart pod any longer and I could easily come back a hundred times and not have the same dish twice. I ordered from the Turkish Cuisine and got a Falafel Gyro and hummus plate my only complaint is that the hummus plate came with Small portion of hummus and only one piece of bread for $7 - I feel that's a little pricey. The gyro gets about a 5 rating...falafel wasn't as crispy as they should be...kindof soggy thumbs down but has great flavor. My husband ordered from El Sazon Del Panzon he got mini street tacos, 2 quesadillas- they were really good. 2 beers for $14 overall spent $47 a lil pricey but a decent meal read more

Great fun at Forest Groves' Zesti Food Carts. Visited on a cold, windy, rainy day. Didn't matter. There is inside seating with a bar for inclement weather days, and tables outside for summer. There were many cart choices; fish, Barbecue, Thai, Sushi, Indian, Jamaican, burgers, Mexican, Italian, Boba, etc. We settled on Thai See Ew, a broad noodle with chicken and broccoli dish in a very flavorful soy sauce. Usually this dish has a gravy texture, but it was fine and served me for two meals. My partner was very excited to find Indian food. They packed a huge bag with crispy fried vegetarian samosas which should always been eaten immediately, and they were scarfed down in record time. Garlic nan bread is always a good choice. A refreshing mango lassi, a creamy drink especially good if you are ordering spicier menu items. In addition, that bag held a very large portion of Chicken Tikka Masala and white rice, to be eaten the next day. We parked on the street but there are signs for parking. If you are coming from the East look for Yew Street on the right after you pass Walmart. Not every cart is open every day, with most closed Monday and Tuesday. Check it out before it becomes too busy. Clean, safe and may be your new favorite. Something for everyone. read more
