I went to give my son a treat for a good report from his teacher. It's located in a strip mall off the freeway C St. It is a bit hidden because there are a few stores next to it but there is plenty of parking. This was our first time we've gone and I wanted to try it out. As soon as you walk in, you see the few flavors of ice cream you can choose from. He opted for the mint chocolate chip and the Rocky Road. The attendant was really friendly and helpful. The ice creams were good! After we ordered, we turned the corner to look at all the candies because he wanted to see and I realized the yogurt machines were in the back. This was our first time so I didn't know. We were on vacation, had never been to this small town and after having skipped dinner, I felt like something sweet. I looked up frozen yogurt and this one seemed to have the best ratings in town. We absolutely loved it. Not only were the flavors delicious, the toppings were plentiful and varied, and the owner or whomever was working at the Front was extremely sweet. It felt like the entire neighborhood was there. In fact, the entire town of Galt feels like a bunch of families that all know each other. Not something I'm used to coming from a large city lol but it was pretty nice. I hope that if I ever am in this area again I get to return and try some more flavors! read more

My kids earned gift cards from a library promotion and we were very excited saving up for the day we could cash them in. Unfortunately upon trying to check out, the cashier swiped each card one time and said they were invalid. She didn't even try typing in the numbers. I let her know it was a part of the library promotion but she just said it was invalid. I took the cards back and checked the balance online on the site listed and sure enough, they both showed having a balance. Disappointed that we weren't able to use our gift cards and it seems like it was very much a cashier error that was not righted. Not the best customer service. read more

A little hidden gem in Galt. Had the froyo and it was spectacular. Mixed a couple flavors, and added some almond topping. The young lady working the service counter was extremely helpful and patient with us due to it being our first time. Loved the vibe of the shop when we walked in. You know it's kind of a hole in the wall place but it had just enough tasty froyo variety & accoutrements in my opinion. The counter lady was sweet & helpful and the frozen yoghurt was delish. I got coconut with *fresh strawberries on top. Yummm. It was so hot so this was super refreshing. They even have a cute seating area for kiddos along with tables so we ended up hanging out to enjoy our treat it was nice. I will not go to a place that doesn't enforce the law which currently states that everyone wears a mask inside businesses. They don't even have signs asking patrons to wear a mask although they require gloves which is not mandated by the state. And, they don't enforce the glove rule anyway so what's the point? Remember as a child walking through Sears and smelling the caramel corn wafting up from the candy/popcorn counter in the center of the hardware section? (It always seemed to be drifting over the kids blue jean section...) anyways, Zestys has Salted. Caramel. Corn. Yogurt. Trust me. Try it! The owner who is always there is soooo nice and keeps the toppings well stocked and the tables clean. Personally, Zesty's is my favorite place to go for a cool dessert treat. There are many different frozen yogurt flavors with a LOT of delicious toppings. You don't even have to worry about the workers messing up your order because you get to make it to your liki.
