Honey Treat has been a favorite for generations of families. While they only offer a couple of different flavors of at a time. It is because they make specialized and rotating small batch deliciousness. Don't expect a huge selection when you come in, but just know that what you are offered was made with love. The only criticism I can even think of for this place is that usually when you visit in the summertime it's a little too warm to be comfortable inside, but that's definitely not enough to keep anybody away. It's a small shop anyway, so I tend to take mine out to the car and devour it in the air conditioning! This is definitely one of the best dessert spots in town. The shop has a welcoming, very local feel and a family-owned charm that is harder and harder to find these days.
