Be careful stepping in/out of the shower, it's slippery! If management is reading this I'd recommend putting down some grip strips. The continental breakfast was filling! They had hot and cold offerings. The coffee was decent too! We'd definitely stay here again!

There were signs that you park at your own risk. The hotel staff not very professional. One staff member parked their Dodge right at the entrance like it was their personal spot. One staff member was behind the counter in the her swimsuit doing something on the computer. She did have a towel partially wrapped around, but you have got to be kidding me. Some kind of Young Marine group was staying there, so regular guests had no room for breakfast. I asked a clerk for utencils and she had a major attitude. They don't have waffles. I think we'll stick with renovated Hampton Inns.

We were so pleasantly surprised that the hotel was so enjoyable considering the low reviews. The room was spacious, very clean, bed very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the towels were white. We have been traveling for more than a week and this was the most comfortable nights sleep we have had so far. The hotel staff were friendly and personable. Ours was the Jean Parker room. Her face was emblazoned on our shower curtain. The bathroom was so small you could (I'm not kidding) wash your hands while sitting on the toilet. Jean was staring at the toilet, judging all our "movements". No hairdryers (call the desk and they will bring you one) . Our room had a balcony with a broken chair and a two person seat. Pros: coffee in the room with real cups. Lovely, firm mattress and plenty of pillows. The hotel is super cute and there's an older gentleman who's like a greeter who's wonderful. The bar is great.

Check in was easy though the rate was higher than other Choice hotels that we had been to earlier in the trip. The desk clerk was pleasant. We checked-in to room 207 and it smelled fresh and it was clean. A nice room is always welcomed after a long day on the road. The A/C quickly cooled down the room. The bathroom was clean and bright, an important touch in this situation. The bed was firm and comfortable and we had a great night sleep. The breakfast area was clean and well maintained and it was good to find a couple protein choices among the carbs. Though, I will add that the eggs looked a little dry and had been out for a while. Checkout was easy and again the AM clerk was very friendly. It was nice to be back on the road in the morning refreshed and with a full belly. Kudos to all the housekeepers and staff for a nice stay. Polite and informative, and an example of customer service at its finest. The room was as expected. While the king size bed wasn't the most comfortable I slept well on it and was only awakened one time by the passing trains. The ice machine in my part of the building was out of order however another one was available. The floor in the bathroom had some gaps in it, which should be addressed as they could provide a trip hazard. All in all, a pleasant stay for a road weary traveler. Travel safe.
