Turns out we had issues with our roof that not many wanted to deal with. Another roofer who came to look at our roof told us why we weren't getting any follow-up and then he didn't follow-up either. The problem with contractors in this city is a lot of them are flakes. They don't show up or they don't follow through. I won't say he's a bad roofer. I would just hope that contractors could be a little more professional overall.

Kaycee and Larry came out, listened to what I was wanting in addition to re-roofing (removal of old swamp cooler base through roof and concern about some soft spot areas). They inspected and measured roof area, then came up with an estimate for the roof work. The estimate was very reasonable and any items that could have affected the price after shingle removal and inspection were discussed. The presentation of the company's background, materials to be utilized, warranties and procedures during the work to be accomplished were discussed and overall I was impressed. There was no pressure to sign a contract immediately, no hassle with "if you sign now, we can offer a lower price", just genuine business attitude. I called the next day to schedule the work and I'm glad I did. The workers showed up as scheduled and even a few minutes ahead of their planned arrival. They immediately went to work and took care of the job efficiently. Was very pleased about their clean up afterwards, I have gravel all around the house and so far have not found any wandering nails that you get warned about from others who have had their roofs replaced.
